Me and my friend where in the area during lunch time, where both us were in need of some food immediately. We roamed around the neighborhood for a bit before we came upon this spot. We both agreed to try this place out and look no further since our appetite expanded and hunger grew. Upon arrival, there were a few guests in house, and one of their friendly staffs seated us immediately. Everything on their menu sounded delicious and made me wanted to try it all. They offer lunch combos with one or two selections of their listed entrees that comes with steamed Jasmine white rice and salad or soup. Their menu also consists of shareable items, soup, salads, their most popular items, fried rice, stir-fried noodles, noodle soups, curry, veggies, wok fried dishes, drinks/alcoholic beverages, desserts and much more to choose from. Everything here is made to order which is always a plus for me since it is quality over quantity and I never mind the wait since I am a very patient person. Finally when our food arrived I knew we made the right choice by coming here, because their dishes were balanced with flavor compared to other Thai restaurants where it is too sweet, sour or spicy and the ingredients this place choose is very fresh and carefully selected. We thought we ordered too much, but everything was finished since it was time to feast. The staffs here are welcoming, well trained and understanding where my visit was a satisfying and issue free one. And as time grew, it got busy with more people coming in for dine in and to pick up their takeout orders. You can dine in, place an order over the phone or have it delivered to you via a food delivery app. I highly recommend this place to all Thai cuisine lovers, to anyone willing to try something new, if you need a quick bite or if you just so happen to be in the area to check them out. I definitely will be back again to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.

Went on a weekday around 1pm. I was the only customer in the restaurant which made me wonder if it would be good. The service was great and the food came out quickly. Lunch special was under $20 I had yellow curry and green beans & tofu came with a side salad. Lime tea was pretty good too.

Friendly and attentive service. Even wrapped the food I ordered while waiting for my lunch mate (hence the plastic wrap in the photo). Food was excellent. Reasonably priced. Two entree lunch combo is a ton of food. Can make dishes vegan upon request. Can’t wait to go back and try more menu items!

Food was delicious. Tofu appetizer is highly recommended and Pad Thai with tofu was also superb. Will visit again when in town.

Delicious thai food in a lovely ambiance. I especially loved the kao soy - noodles and greens in a rich curry broth.

I ordered from their lunch combo menu and got pad Thai along with spicy basil with chicken and requested no rice with coconut soup. The coconut soup had a delicious sweet and savory taste to it! Their pad Thai wasn't spicy (wished I asked to put some spice in it), but it was sweet, savory and sour! The spicy basil with chicken was bursting with flavor (as you can see from the dark colors)! Overall very delicious! They check your COVID-19 vaccination card along with ID for indoor seating.

Stopped by for a quick bite to eat. The lunch special was out of this world and very flavorful. Got the garlic pork and yellow beef curry. Garlic pork had so much flavor and the beef curry was well balanced with spice.

Delicious dishes! We got the cashew veggie dish plus prawns (came with rice) and the pad-thai, substituting prawn for chicken- super good. A little light on the rice, consider getting an extra rice when you order!

Wow!! First time ordering takeout, ordered shrimp pad Thai and it was one of the best I have ever had! (And I eat a lot of Thai food) Shrimp portions were generous (like 6 and pretty large-ish), sauce delicious tofu cooked just right. Reasonably priced $18 (shrimp included) I’ll be ordering here many times again!

Everything about this restaurant was a great experience! It was fast and efficient. I ordered red curry, and my parents shared drunken noodles. They had the perfect variety of veggies and spices. The prices were low and we got free rice with our meal! Well done Vanida! We will definitely be back 😀

The owner was in the kitchen, and he was very generous to us--started conversations and we had a great talk. We asked him about how the restaurant started, and the story was such a rollercoaster! You can tell they have been through a lot to get to this point. We ordered the Pad Thai Prawns and Pad See Ew with Chicken, and we absolutely loved it! The vibe presented the perfect ambience and atmosphere for the food, because they match perfectly, and it just improved the overall experience.

A True Gem in the Outer Sunset! I've been a customer here for years—it's truly the best Thai food I've had in the Outer Sunset, and it’s easy to see why they've been around for so long. The food is always delicious, fresh, and arrives hot! I highly recommend the Garlic Pork; the marinade is perfect, and the accompanying sauce is absolutely delish. And the noodles are a classic for a reason—both the Pad See Ew and Pad Thai are packed with flavor. Every dish here is simply perfect in every way. Beyond the amazing food, the service is great. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant has a wonderfully cozy and casual atmosphere. It's the ideal spot to bring family and friends. This diamond in the rough is a must-try!

Delicious food, the curry was the perfect portion size. Prompt, efficient service. I was able to do a bit of work on my laptop as it was quiet pre-dinner rush. Nice lighting and minimal, tasteful decor

My friends and I dropped by for lunch after finishing AP exams. It's pretty accessible by public transport-- took the 29 from Lowell and only had to walk a few blocks. You can take the L, too. There was no wait when I arrived, and we were seated immediately. I ordered Thai Fried Rice with prawns. I guess I spoke too softly; the waiter thought I ordered the pork. They were really nice about it, remaking the dish and packing the incorrect one into a to-go container for me to take home. The rice was well-cooked. The prawns were larger than I expected and weren't rubbery at all. The presentation was nice-- each dish was served with fruit. Overall, nice place. Clean. Decorated well. It was clear that the restaurant put a lot of care into cultivating the atmosphere.

Small restaurant, but really nice ambiance and Thai food. Garlic pork was good. Eggplant basil was good too. You choose the protein. Pumpkin curry had kambocha squash in it and tasted great! This one comes with chicken and shrimp both. You can change jasmine rice to brown if you’d like. Located near Ocean Beach. Service was good, though it felt a little short staffed. Parking on the street and could be difficult as usual in SF. Definitely worth a try!

Really good Thai food in my neighborhood. The food was delicious, arrived as promised, and the customer service on the phone and by our delivery driver was excellent.

Solid Thai spot in the sunset. Got the pad see ew. Not a huge portion. 3.5 stars rounded to 4.

The atmosphere is nice and quaint. We ordered three dishes: chicken noodle soup (pho-like), yellow curry, and Pad Thai, all with chicken. Unfortunately, the chicken in every dish was extremely dry. I’m not sure what cut they use, but switching to thigh meat would help with tenderness. The Pad Thai was solid, but the long green onions were a bit much. They seem to be there for presentation, but they’re not really edible in that form. It would be better to cook them into the dish or add them chopped as a garnish. The side salad also felt unnecessary. The chicken noodle soup broth was bland and underwhelming. I usually stick to Pad Thai and pineapple fried rice here, but decided to try other dishes this time and was disappointed. Also, charging over $5 for shrimp feels excessive.

The man who answered the phone hung up on me when I said I wanted to cancel my order that I had placed 20 seconds before that. He said “it’s no good” then he would not answer when I called back.
