6/11/2023 - We all enjoy the tasting menu at the Trinity restaurant at Hilton Los Angeles San Gabriel. The Walnut shrimp is so tender and juicy with a good taste. Thank Paul, the Lead Server, who once worked at one Michelin starred 2 restaurant in Hong Kong and Juli, the Sales Manager, for your hospitality. The weekend buffet brunch at $25.00 each is also attractive. We will come to try in the near future.

Food quality and taste - 4 on 5 Staff friendliness and professionalism - 5 on 5 Ambience and cleanliness - 5 on 5 Price - 3 on 5 Value for money - 4 on 5 We went to this place during our stay at the Hilton, mainly for breakfast. I was impressed with the service I received. Not sure whether it was just the gentleman who served us or it's the norm but he went above and beyond to deliver a great experience. The price is inline with all the Hilton restaurants and I would say that they had more variety than other Hiltons for breakfast buffet. Ambience was great and was very clean.

Trinity is located within the Hilton San Gabriel lobby. The restaurant was mostly empty for breakfast except for a couple of tables. It was nice because it was quiet and relaxing. The staff as always, were amazing. They were warm, inviting and friendly. They were also very attentive without hovering. I absolutely loved that they offered congee for breakfast. As someone who would prefer not to eat a sweet breakfast, the alternative was wonderful. The congee was bland, but it came with several condiments to add your desired flavor. The dish came with pickled veggies, peanuts and meat floss. I used all of the condiments and added sriracha; tasty. We also ordered their Chinese noodle soup and that was packed with flavor. The bok choy and other components made the dish. My daughter ordered their French toast and she said it was the best she’s had. We paid approximately $50 which already included the tip. The restaurant was non tipping.

Choice of buffet style or order what you want from the menu. I had the regular omelet and it was huge, good service and good food.

For breakfast, the omelet was delicious and so was the oatmeal. Actual price is about 30% more than the listed price after 10% tax and 20% service charge is added, making it actually very expensive for what you get. Hilton Honors gold and diamond members get $18 of credit towards breakfast. Those who do not quality for the credit are better off dining elsewhere.

Honestly it's a hidden gem. I have stayed at the Hilton San Gabriel many times and always eat at their Trinity restaurant at least once a day either for breakfast or lunch. The staff here are wonderful and so nice and attentive. Shout out to Paul for always being kind and attentive to me every time I eat there. He's amazing and very kind. The Chinese food here is pretty good especially the brisket and braised oxtail dish. They have pretty good specials too. Oh don't forget to get the herbal Chinese chicken soup, if i could have that broth every day. Omg.

Bread could have been a bit more tender, was warm but a bit on the dry side. Jalapeneo poppers for an appetizer, very tasty but a bit weak on the jalepeneo flavor, rack of Lamb had all the appropriate flavors and it got better from there, mash potatoes were outstanding, asparagus cooked just right, carrots out of this world, overall a great dinner, service was excellent.

Great, friendly, go-outta their way service. Good food, well presented. Not expensive. But it gets chilly if you're sitting by the corridor. Ate there up to twice daily with my fam on a recent stay at the SG Hilton. Will definitely be a plus for our returning to the Hotel.

Unlike other buffet restaurants, Trinity's lunch buffet menu changes almost every day, at least some main dishes. The price is reasonable. Definitely will come back again.

I think this place deserves some more love. I been coming here for the last 13 years. People come here for the environment, quiet and clean, 5 stars. The food is average, nothing stands out and the selection is limited, 3 stars. The price has gone up quite a bit, 50% since pandemic, 3 stars. I would still recommend if you are looking for a quiet place to eat and mingle with family or friends, where you can all hear each other.

Inside Hilton San Gabriel and breakfast menu is limited but offers some Hong Kong style noodles and congee. Good to use your hotel food voucher. They charge $4 for coffee inside but also offer free coffee to take away for hotel guests at the entrance. They also charge 20% service charge automatically to your bill.

It’s our first time since RE/open during the Pandemic. The lunch buffet food choices were more limited than before and price have gone up a lot. The Lobster and the beef steak were great. Service was great, as we were the only customers at the time. I am actually would give it a 3.5 star. We prefer to be given two choices from the menu, less portions is fine, so you can try different food. My greatest disappointment was the to go containers that they use. The cheap white foam non-recycling material, bad for the environment. I can’t believe Hilton would allow such cheap stuff to be used. I hope the food manager would do something.

$24.95 for a limited selection of food both hot and cold. Hotel needs some way to gain an upper hand so beverage is not included. $4.95 extra and a service charge of18% is added. The service charge wasn't disclosed when I was seated.

The chef at the made-to-order station dropped a soup spoon on the floor and proceeded in using it afterwards to scoop soup for guests....gross! My mom kept raving about this buffet but I honestly think its just meh. For around $12 you get a majority of the brunch items which consists of mainly Chinese food. They have a variety of soups, desserts, and entrees, but the stand out items were at the made-to-order station where you can order wonton soup, beef noodle soup, minced pork with egg noodle soup, etc. I enjoyed the food until I found out from my cousin that he saw the chef use a spoon that he dropped on the ground. It seriously makes me doubt what kind of health standards they abide by. There's many other great restaurants in the area so I highly suggest looking into other options unless you want to chill around the Hilton hotel for the ambiance which is otherwise pretty nice.

This restaurant within the hotel is definitely meant for guests at the hotel without access to a car. The restaurant is located at the center of the hotel building with no window at the ground floor that makes cellular phone signal extremely weak at best or out right without cellular phone service at worse.  Yet, they intentionally not offering free Wi-Fi and power outlets reachable by customers. In my humble opinion, consumer does expect business establishments offer free Wi-Fi and power outlets since smartphone became indispensable especially where there is no cellular phone signal within the building.  Not to mention it costs business virtually nothing to provide such service. Buffet they offer is very limited in variety of items.  A bit better than free breakfast offered by many motor hotels except they do charge over $20 including drink, tip and taxes. They do not refill items run out to force customers to eat whatever left to minimize left over as they offer different set of items for breakfast versus lunch.  Although customers may stay in the restaurant after items changing, customers came late for breakfast may not eat items offered for lunch despite breakfast is more expensive than lunch. The quality of food offered is average.  The service is also about average. We tried to book a table for party of seven ten days in advance, we were told none were available.  When we were in the restaurant there were at least two tables can fit party of seven were empty the whole time, but have reserved sign on it.  Moreover, they would not allow us to move two small tables together so all our family members can sit together. We ended up split up with two small tables separated by an aisle.

Not worth it. I am going to keep this short. Food: not amazing, limited selection for the all you can eat, and even then only a few were tasty. Most were over salted. The only savior was the noodle soup station. Service: staff meandered around, but clean up was quick Atmosphere: dated. Not returning.

Awful food and service with a mandatory service charge of 20%. The server didn’t even know the hand gesture for check.

Waiter said he grabbed management to come to a solution with a credit card issue, given this is the came card that is on my room. Watched as he proceeded to ask another waiter then came back to me, after he stated he spoke with management, saying I need to call my bank? Sat there on my phone for 45 minutes with my bank telling me everything is fine. At that point, 45 minutes later, the waiter came back with a member of management saying to just charge it to my room. Definitely wouldn’t of ever tipped this waiter a 20 percent tip, which is mandatory. Explains why I was the only one in this restaurant at 6:00.
