Ikes has done it again- another good job. They never fail to have the best customer service in the food industry. They don't just serve sandwiches, they serve awesomeness! I frequent the Cupertino location, and they know me by name. But the downtown location was equally as friendly, great quality control for the sandwiches, and i got to try the famous limited time phantom dutch crunch. I usually go for the sabercat, but I thought I'd do an italian style meatball sub so i went with the SuperLuigi. 11/10. Phenomenal.🫡

I loved it, I've never tried this place since I never see it busy. I decided to enter and the guy on the register was super friendly, he recommended his favorite sandwich since I didn't know what to order. I got a delicious sandwich with fried chicken and some sort of pesto. I would totally recommend it, this place is waaaaaay better than Subway.

I’m never seen such a vast vegetation/vegan options at any sandwich shop EVER. Their “favorite Sesame Street character” on Dutch crunch bread literally changed my life. Best sandwich I’ve ever had in my entire life.

First time visiting Ike’s and I was only after a quick bite. Was pleasantly surprised by the extensive sandwich menu they offer and the #2 Hollywood’s SF cheesesteak that I chose was a great sandwich which I’ll be coming back for.

Turkey and cranberry sauce on the world's flattest sandwich is not a $14 value. Why is the bread so pale? Update: They gave me two free sandwiches in my account (rather than the refund I would've preferred) and the icing on the cake is that I can only use one at a time. Since I only go here to grab dinner with my partner, I still have to buy a sandwich each time. This is the last two times I'll be buying anything here. Update #2: They did it again. Half my sandwich ingredients are missing. At least they cooked the bread this time but you have to be kidding me.

However, the meat and produce did not taste fresh, and I noticed opened bread sitting out on the counter, which raised some concerns about freshness and food handling.Additionally, the tables and floors were not clean, which affected the overall experience.

I love Ike's and hate to leave them a bad review, but I'm feeling distressed from my experience this afternoon. The person in front of me made a big order, so when it was my turn, I asked whether they could make my sandwich in 10 minutes. 'We'll do it as quickly as possible,' they said, and I said 'Okay, but I have a train to catch, so I really need it in 10 minutes, and I know you just got a big order—can you do it?' and they said yes. So I ordered and paid. Ten minutes later, I had to leave with no sandwich. And I had to run to the station, and just barely made my train. I like to think that maybe one of the homeless people out front ended up enjoying it, but it probably just got wasted, along with my money, which in itself is very disappointing. People might not realise how extraordinarily infrequent trains are in this country—if I hadn't made this, I would've had to wait over an hours for the next one!!—but if I say I need it in 10 minutes, I'm not making it up! I expect an honest answer, not just a 'yes' to get me to order.
