Bobaholics San Jose Reviews
The array of juices is terrific! Beet juice, carrot juice, orange-pineapple-spinach — very healthy and refreshing… and if you need a little or a lot of sugar on fried dough, with chocolate or maple, jelly-filled, these donuts and cinnamon rolls are wonderful! Bagels of many varieties. Alan terrific customer service — thanks!!!
I bought a torta de asada and a giant donut($3) as well as heart donut($1.33)and everything was absolutely delicious. The torta especially! Incredibly flavorful and neatly made(presentation wise)for what I believe was $9.99. It was the best! I’ve never had a torta like it before. The customer service as well was awesome! The employee was friendly and thoughtful.
Went at 12am, the only guy working in there was very nice and friendly. Got a half dozen donuts and they were all very soft and tasty. If I lived in the area, I would definitely stop by often.
As soon as I walked in, I was welcomed by the cashier. The food was really good. Everyone was nice. I definitely recommend going here to anyone looking for a good bite to eat.
This is one of the best donut shops I’ve been to and I’ve been in a couple donut shops in my life. The glazed doughnut is so fresh. and then I had a Asada torta and it was delicious and the service was really good. my two-year-old learned how to say doughnut in this place. It is so good.
Came on 10.17.25. Amazing spot to get lunch and breakfast. I got a carne asada torta and some doughnuts holes amazing!!! So refreshingly good and feels amazing to eat here and how cozy the atmosphere is such a loving place of food made with care. Thanks you! Muchas gracias a los does senor y senora que trabajan muy bien y nos encanto la comida preparada muy rapido y muy sabroso!!
I love their apple fritters! Their price are fair and they are open 24/7, they have an amazing choice of everything! The staff is overall friendly (the 2 guys are) but the ladies aren’t really polite. The place is pretty clean, their coffee isn’t bad. It’s a good place to stop by sometimes for a break, and also they give you a nice price if you buy a big quantity of donuts.
Went 03.26.24 12:15pm. The 1 donut I got here (to test) was delicious, it was the apple pie filling filled glazed donut $1.79. Really light, moist, not cloyingly sweet, not oily, very fresh. Service was.... lady who served was nice but took her time to wait on me and 1 other person in line (the only people in at the time), she was too busy "cleaning" or pretending to clean, lol. Maybe they just abhor their jobs? LOL! But she was nice and friendly when she eventually decided to wait on customers.
So happy this place is 24 hours! Great for those who work overnight and are tired of going to 7-11 for some hot coffee or snacks. It looks like they have other options such as breakfast burritos and sandwiches but I haven't tried them yet. I went pretty late and didn't see any homeless hanging around the area. Also there is plenty of parking.
Fourth of July morning treat! I ordered two glazed donuts, 2 chocolate donuts, and 4 special fourth of july donuts along with a large hazelnut iced coffee. Everything taste great, the donuts were so fresh and so fluffy. My coffee was great as well, could use a bit more hazelnut inside BUT I must admit I could tell it was freshly brewed. I will definitely return and all my kids loved their donuts as well! Yum yum (:
I usually prefer mom-and-pop doughnut shops with fresh, homemade flavors, but sometimes a late-night craving strikes, and options are limited. That’s how I ended up at Yum Yum Doughnuts — one of the few places open past midnight. The shop itself was clean but had a no-frills, utilitarian feel. There weren’t many customers, so service was quick, and I appreciated the 24-hour convenience. However, the selection was disappointing—only a handful of varieties were available compared to other doughnut shops in the area. I went with a classic glazed doughnut, a chocolate-covered doughnut, and an order of glazed doughnut holes to sample a little bit of everything. The glazed doughnut had a decent chew but was a bit denser than I prefer. The glaze itself was thin and slightly too sweet, without that perfect melt-in-your-mouth texture. The chocolate-covered doughnut was forgettable—coated in a waxy chocolate that lacked richness. The best part of my order? The glazed doughnut holes. They were soft, poppable, and had a slightly fresher taste than the full-sized doughnuts. But even then, they didn’t quite have that irresistible, just-fried warmth I love. If you need a doughnut fix in the middle of the night, Yum Yum Doughnuts will do in a pinch. It’s fast, convenient, and open when other places are closed. But if you’re looking for something exceptional, this isn’t it. I wouldn’t go out of my way for it again unless it was my only option.
First off i didnt post this under breakfast. I ordered breakfast burrito. I asked could i have egg cheese and bacon instead of sauage. I specifically told the guy i can't eat the sauage. The reason i picked the breakfast burrito is because the picture they have hanging up looks like the burrito would be delicious. I wait for my order and i had to take it to go because of the time. As I'm walking i decide to eat my burrito. I bite into it and what do i find? Its loaded with sauage and one just one thin slice of bacon with a mountain off eggs. I pick out all the sauage and call yum yum to complain. I am so upset i decided to click a picture to show you my terrible tasting burrito. Please get another cook especially one that understands someone order.
Garbage. Should call this place “DAY OLD DONUTS”. I went here around 7 PM on a Friday. There were plenty of donuts to choose from so I bought 3. None of them were fresh and tasted a day old. How is that even possible? Not only that, but the gentleman who was ready to take my order yelled out “YES?!” to which I told him I wasn’t ready. I guess if you like to be yelled at with rocks for donuts, come here.
The guy at the counter was very friendly but the donuts were disgusting. I bit into an apple fritter and got a mouth full of oil. The same with the old fashioned, but even with the oil it was stale/hard. Never going back to this or any other Yum Yum donuts.
My chocolate covered raised donut was hard and dry. It likely was days old. My plain old-fashion donut was pale colored under cooked, and very small. I do not recommend Yum Yum Donuts.
Went in to buy a couple donuts. Expecting to satisfy my craving. They were way too greasy🤢🤮 please do better! I googled why my donut was so greasy it said because they are cooking too many at a time and the oil temp lowers allowing the donuts to absorb more oil. Please, please please, YOU GET PAID TO DO YOUR JOB AND TO DO IT RIGHT🙏 Nobody wants to eat OIL. Do better please and cook them correctly!!!!!!
I got home and ate my sandwich and donut, thought i was going to enjoy my coffee. This had to be done intentionally, there is no way to get that much coffee grounds in a cup of coffee without knowing, and obviously intentional, definitely will not patronize again, worst part i haye I left a nice tip
Giving location this rating because they don’t let paying customers use the restroom at 4:00 am. We come to work from the Valley and wanted a place to relax and wait for time to work. How is someone suppose to come in, enjoy a donut and coffee, and not be able to use the restroom when the coffee takes effect. Employee who helped us seemed irritated or tired but I did not feel welcomed which affected the atmosphere. As for management who reads this and try’s to reply back to me to make things better. Don’t waste your time. We won’t be coming back. Work on your employees and store policy.
genuinely don't know how this place is open and highly reviewed. The first time I recall going to this place was a few months ago during the night to get an apple fritter I was craving. However, it was extremely oily and basically inedible every bite. i got a terrible stomach ache from the amount of oil that was oozing throughout the donut. I saw other reviews where they were told to try getting it during the day when they are "freshly baked" in the mornings, so I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt. However, when I came during the morning a few days ago to get a batch of their donut holes, they were definitely NOT freshly baked at all: they had little to no glaze on them, were extremely dense, cold, and dry. It looked and tasted as if they've been sitting there for days or weeks. This is extremely disappointing because I used to love this company as a kid, but my experience with this shop completely ruined it for me. Not sure if they just changed managers and don't care to ensure that their pastries are freshly baked everyday, but i'd advise everyone to look elsewhere for baked goods. 0 stars. do not waste your money here.
Horrible service and they greet you in Spanish.. turned off the air because they didn't want me sitting there while hot out
