I’ve been coming here for 25 plus years. Best rice and beans around. Super burrito or chimichanga is a must. So glad this place survived through the lockdown. Eating out seems expensive nowadays, but this place is worth to it. Grab a bottle of their sauce on the way out, great on everything.

Four family members had a late lunch here while traveling and were very happy we did. The food was plentiful, fresh, and delicious, not greasy. Amazing homemade tortillas! Service was very good as well. Lovely people! Not cheap, but the quality merited the price in my opinion. I’m wondering if maybe people who complained about ‘bland’ tasting food simply aren’t used to food without a lot of grease, lol. Would definitely eat here again.

I recommend this place to everyone out there. My daughter brought me here for the 1st time,and I've all ready been back twice. The tacos were delicious 😋. Only thing I recommend is that they invest in AC. Not only for the guests. Mostly for the cooks I give them a 10 rating excellent They work hard and deserve staying cool on Hot days like the ones we were have.

This food at this restaurant on Capitol in San Jose, is absolutely superb. I traveled 3 freeways, just to get their food! Would keep doing it over and over again. The food is fantastic, the service is great, the food portions are excellent, and the food prices are worth it. You absolutely get more than what you paid for. Keep up the Fantastic work.

This is my absolute favorite place. My experience has been great. I love the taste of my food. And this sounds crazy but even when they get my order wrong it taste good. So happy I found a place with reasonable prices and very tasty food. I am only speaking to my experience. I have been going their for about a year now and have never been disappointed. The homemade sauce! From scratch, they add it to their tacos and it sends a slow flavor to the taste buds that almost makes you want to devour the taco. Do this at home not in the resturant. The sauce is also for sale, just in case your own taco you make at home is ..bland.

As long as you do t play the little claw game your good....the game is a rip off. 😏 There food is great and their wet super burritos are huge and worth the $20+. It can last you all day.

I came in late around 1:30am. The service was quick and easy. The sever was very nice and welcoming. The food was fresh but unfortunately the tortillas for the tacos weren't warmed up enough. They were a bit stiff and cooling down quickly. It's a good spot to eat after a long night out but it's nothing special. Either way, I still recommend.

Food was great. Service was mediocre at best despite there being no one else in the restaurant. A few other people trickled in while we were there but it was generally empty. Again, food was terrific.

Went there Last Sunday with the lady. Haven't been there since I left the eastside. Anyways We ordered enchiladas, the mixed appetizers and Menudo. Waitress got our drinks and asked if we were ready and said she would come back. It took her 15 minutes to get back which I thought was long. We received our food and I think my lady got cheese enchiladas cuz I didn't see any chicken in there. The appetizer plate was good and the menudo was good. Wanted a refill and the waitress never came back. Waiting to pay and the waitress never came back. After about 45 minutes she finally came back. It was Sunday and the place was empty so the experience could have been better. I'll try on another day and will see what happens.

I am astonished at the lack of flavor. The chicken is cooked with zero spices or marinade, rolled in a corn tortilla (not flower like most places, so basically chicken taquitos not Flautas) lots of sour cream flavorless rice and if that was guacamole on the salad and not a dressing it was also very poor. The Horchata was tasty but watery and the salsa was delicious. I can’t wait to see what aggressive poopy comment the owner leaves for me. Wish I had checked the reviews, can’t stand an owner that publicly badgers customers. So $30 to know I will never return…

But, if you're like me and want actual authentic Mexican food, I'd probably go somewhere else. I mean the portions were great I guess but what's the point of a giant tasteless burrito? Meh.

I ordered the fried fish. And it was really bad it was so over cooked the eyes had completely piped out. The tail fell off it was so Crispy. The tortillas were like rubber you couldn’t even hardly pull them apart. There was more bones than meat on the fish. I think most of the meat got burned off in the deep fryer because they overcooked it. Never going back again

Once these ladies left the establishment the cashier and two men in the kitchen started to talk about about the customer and saying that they can't read and talking bad about their Columbia race in front of me I found that extremely rude and unprofessional. I wish I had something good to say about this place but honestly I don't. The service is terrible and the food is alright there are definitely better places in san jose to go for some Mexican food.
