Le Crème Café San Jose Reviews
Best mochi donuts we’ve had! Only reason why I’m not leaving a five star is because we felt rushed, however we were not told that we were going to have to wait for fresh donuts.
A suitable place to gather with friends, the restaurant is very clean, the food is ok, the price is a bit higher than usual. Extremely delicious drinks, especially yogurt. beautiful decoration. Lots of parking but a bit narrow
This is my go-to place for mochi donuts! I usually order in advance to avoid the long wait since they are always made fresh. Each donut is always chewy and perfectly glazed. I’ve tried their teas in the past and they were all decent. As for the service, sometimes you may not receive the friendliest greeting especially when they are busy but I’ve never had any issues with my orders. Parking can be difficult since it is in a very busy plaza. I also highly suggest ordering in advance by calling in your order or using the Toast app.
Mochi doughnut is better than other doughnut I ever tasted and not too sweet but light fluffy and delectable! The pad Thai is very tasty also Along with there filet mignon plates all excellent Price is a little above still worth the taste and quality Superior service and speed Mocha could use a different kind of chocolate like organic cacao powder but other wise still excellent!
Perfect milk buns!!! Strawberry ice cream with fruit pebbles on a warm brioche bun. I also got a tea with heart and star jellies along with boba.
Other places have cold mochi donuts. They made these while we waited, about 10 min, they were lovely. You can eat your own or share the smaller balls to try different flavors. Strawberry is a favorite but most of them are pretty nice.
I got half a dozen mochi donuts this morning - ube, chocolate, matcha, churro and Oreo. I only tried the ube and it was delicious - chewy, fresh and the ube taste was strong! I also got the coffee milk tea - pretty tasty. The man who rang me up was very kind and helpful. They allow you to order at the main entrance and call your number at the side entrance. The waiting area is huge...pretty good setup.
This is so good. I went in to order a dessert and latte after a meal, but I ate a pleasant dessert and fruit yogurt in a clean room.It was such a nice place that I thought I should make time to visit again next time.
Best mochi donuts I've ever had! These babies are fried fresh to order. We picked pandan, green tea, churro and black sesame. Pandan was much lighter than the others but they're all good, not greasy at all. Real durian smoothie tastes like a durian smoothie made by someone who actually likes durian.
As of April of 2019, flavors are: churro, sugar, plain, matcha, chocolate and strawberry. The strawberry you can't really see the frosting on it as much. It's so warm because they make it to order! Delicious with a chewy inside. Also realized they increased the price when getting 6 and 12 by 50 cents.
From smoothie to teas, finger foods, desserts and ICE cream, this little cafe in the corner of this busy little eating plaza has it all. I have nothing else more to say, if your sweet tooth is kicking in, stop by cause it'll knock your tooth out.

Le Crème Cafe offers a cozy atmosphere with a variety of mochi donuts and yogurt drinks. The strawberry mochi donut and malasadas are standout choices, featuring a soft, chewy texture with generous fillings. The cafe is clean and well-decorated, making it a great spot for casual meetups. While the prices are slightly higher than average, the quality of ingredients and unique flavors make it worth a visit. Parking can be a bit tight, but the overall experience is pleasant and enjoyable.
It’s a good cafe . The place feels small . Going in large groups might feel squeezed. Their drinks are okay. Are there better cafes in San Jose? Yes. But this cafe has its own unique charm.

4 for $10 is a little pricey but they’re pretty good Mochi doughnuts. Sometimes we order ahead and pick up to avoid the wait, but they’re made fresh so it takes about 10 minutes after you order. They have an assortment of other snacks, drinks, and smoothies too.
Food: Mochi donuts are their signature desserts. They are more fluffier than regular donuts. They come in many flavors. The michi, churro, and glaze are all pretty good. I don't know if it's worth $2 for a small donut, but it's not bad. Drink: The tea drinks are pretty good here. Sugar level is good at 50%. Service: I don't know why, but I was asked for my receipt when my food came, but not when my drink. On top of that, I didn't see anyone else asking for their receipt. This alone stop the place from getting five stars. Ambience: It is very open and modern. Plenty of seats and tables. The front reminds me of a bakery.

Drinks are solid. However, go for the mochi donuts! The only location in Northern California I know so far that makes this (the others are from Hawaii & Japan). Worth a trip to try this. Sadly, they don't offer all the donut flavors - it seems random every day. Also you may have to wait awhile as they make them. Parking can be difficult to find in this area. Because of this, 3 star rating for now.
I am craving for beignet after coming back from NOLA and thus visited this cafe. Beignet is freshly made and take about 15 minutes. The dough is soft, but it is not very crisp outside and neither pillowy inside. Nor is it super loaded with powdered sugar. Overall it’s good pastry, but not good beignet.

ordered a crepe and wanted to try a mochi donut she said they only come in 4 and i politely said ok nevermind she then rolled her eyes. When i asked what ice cream they have she said “they’re on the board” with an attitude. I work customer service so i understand having a bad day but rolling your eyes? cmon now
Ordered six beignets and it took them over 30 minutes to make. The beignets were tasty and they came with condensed milk. They had other options like Nutella. But nothing to write home about. But waiting over 30 minutes for a few beignets is crazy.

This is hands down the worst coffee shop and the most over price in San Jose. The staff look like every customer is a burden, never offering a smile or a bit of courtesy. The drinks are just average, and they even charge a dollar for a tiny cup of extra sauce for the fried chicken. To make it worse, despite being a large establishment, they don’t even provide a restroom for customers. Terrible service — avoid this place if you can.
