Loving Hut San Jose Reviews
I was walking in the mall today and found this. I ordered the spinach gyoza and tofu banh mi. Both were absolutely delicious! I absolutely am crazy for banh mi and this one had the right amount of sauce, pickled veggies, tofu, plus the bread was perfect! Everytime I come to ranch 99 I'm gonna get something here 🌟
Friendly employee, food potions are big, lemonade was not fresh as listed and charged for. It tastes like concentrate Definitely great for vegan food just skip the drinks get a boba nearby for a better value.
Very professional gentleman greeted my wife and I. He was very helpful and informative, answered any questions we had. I was a little skeptical about the food (being in a mall). Food came out and was plentiful, looked amazing and the quality, taste and food was top notch! Will be going back sometime very soon! Highly recommended!
Never expected vegan food to taste this good! Loved the spicy basil fried rice and bun hue. As mentioned in their menu, they are spicy, so you may wanna try something suitable for your palate. Dining in would also be nice. Portion size was generous and a serving can be enough for 2. The soup in the pho was delicious.
We ate the fried king mushrooms, kung pao seitan, vegan fried rice, spring rolls, garlic fries, Mango Mousse cake, and a hibiscus Tea. We always get the cake here since my Fiancée is lactose intolerant and she loves the cake. All the food was pipping hot and delicious. I want to eat the mushrooms like popcorn. Vegan fried rice was fresh and moist. Kung paro seitan was the best. So flavorful. 10/10 eat here. They do not disappoint in the flavor department. I'm not Vegan i just love eating food.
This place turned to be surprisingly delicious I was in the area and walked for a quick lunch and boy was I taken by surprise with the food, people place . Everything it’s not about just a vegan place but it’s also about how well they treat you and how well the place is maintained.
I'm not vegetarian/vegan but I'm not opposed to having vege/vegan food. Decided to try here for lunch after shopping in the mall. I ordered the spicy royal just because the picture looked good, but I didn't realize it's supposed to be the vegan version of bun bo hue which is my favorite dish! The broth was delicious and I didn't miss any meat/meat flavoring at all. I devoured it quickly and enjoyed every bite. The dish didn't look large but it was very filling. Overall a satisfying meal.
Full disclosure, I am not vegan. But I went on a veggie only diet and came here to try it out. I WAS BLOWN AWAY! Wow. My taste buds were so happy. Immediately when you come in you can smell how amazing the food is. The ambiance is nice and the service was pretty quick even though they were busy. I will definitely be back and highly recommend!
They have a lot of choices to offer on their menu. We loved their potstickers which was crunchy on the side and had perfectly cooked filling inside. I’ll definitely be trying their Tom kha soup again next time. It seemed fresh, has tomatoes, mushrooms, tofu, pineapple and vegan style shrimp. The place was kept clean and tidy. Service was alright too. For those who want to try vegan only restaurant in and around north San Jose, this is the one.
This is easily the best vegetarian/vegan specialized restaurant I've ever been to. It's very clean and well managed with a hospitable staff that very informed on what the dishes and meat substitutes are made of. The food is so incredibly authentic and close to the original dishes. I almost cried when I ate the walnut vegan shrimp since it tasted so similar to my favorite dish before I went vegetarian. The seitan is amazing and the texture is perfect (very similar to chicken/meat). The spices are just right and not overbearing or artificial. It's not crowded and is a great, quiet place to talk and eat. Overall, I had an amazing experience and will definitely be coming back.
Grabbed the green beans and eggplant for takeout. My order was ready right on time and the service was prompt and courteous. Unfortunately, while the veggies seemed to be of good quality, the dish was unexpectedly quite sweet. I may go back to try something else, but the first try was a bummer.
OK I feel the food is just normal and it is very try easy to get cold I feel no AC in this rest Ronen the price is a little pricy. You can try it if you are vegetarian, but I would not recommend here if you are not vegetarian. Again, I feel there is no AC in cold day really influence my dine in feeling and highly recommend the owner consider more for the guest experience. The service is okay.
One of the great vegetarian restaurants in the Bay Area. We came on Sunday for lunch at open hour. Restaurant was clean and ready to serve. All dishes tasted great except brown rice was incompletely cooked and was too hard to eat. Also the artificial tofu for kong pao chicken is too hard to chew. Over all everything is great 😊 Recommend it and will try different dishes next time 😊
We went for a dinner date. The place is clean, host was polite. Service was great and quick. Ordered spicy wonton, singapore curry mifun and thai ice tea, lemonade. Drink was good. Wonton was not so spicy as mentioned in the menu but with the hot sauce it tasted good. Noodle was average. Vegan lover would like the place.
