Robee's Falafel San Jose Reviews
Best Sushi in all of South Bay. Been coming here for 10 years and the sushi is consistently fantastic. Staff members are very friendly and we always get great service. Used to live close by few years ago but now we drive 15miles from home to come here. Nothing else compares within probably 30 mile radius if not all of Bay area.
I ate one before he took the picture. Delicious
you can taste the difference from other restaurants. no fishy or strong cleaning chemicals. fresh taste & frsh wasabi. a bit $$, but rolls and uni bowl were on point. would be nice if they had more sofa seatings so one could enjoy comfortable seating for drinks.
We are regulars here. We've done both done in and doordash from here. The sushi is great with a good variety, the sushi chefs are awesome and friendly. One of our favorites is the salmon belly but we haven't had anything here we haven't loved. This visit we each got a bento.
Sushi can be an expensive proposition, but Senro Sushi offers a Happy Hour limited menu with excellent choices from 5-6:30. Their rolls, as seen in the photos, aren't any different in size or quality than non-Happy Hour offerings. At full price they are totally worth it, and during Happy Hour it's even better!
We ordered unagi nigiri, Hawaiian poke, and tonkatsu ramen. We were pleasantly surprised by how high quality the food was. The ramen was flavorful and not salty, and had a generous serving of pork. Would definitely come again!
The Titanic and Baked Scallop rolls. Both amazing. Titanic was better as it packed a more powerful taste punch. Plus the tempura gave it good texture. Scallop roll texture was soft and mushy.
The servers were attentive to drink orders and very helpful. My husband does not share my love for sushi and found items on the menu such as teriyaki chicken and beef. The salad with its creamy dressing was very refreshing. I ordered the titanic with tuna on top instead of salmon; which was suggested by the waitress. It was delicious. I also enjoyed the 49er and baked scallop roll.
I’ve been having nice dinners at Senro Sushi for quite a while. I am never disappointed on the quality of the food. The sashimi salad was just another nice surprise. By now I have tried most of their menu, and cannot find a single item on the menu that I would not recommend. Everything has been surprisingly good. The food is really good. The atmosphere is nice and staff is friendly. It is a nice place for a fast lunch but also an awesome restaurant for a very nice dinner. There is also a very decent selection of drinks as well.

This review has been long pending. We are a family of four and have been going to Senro Sushi for 3 yrs now and it’s our favorite Sushi restaurant. We have tried some other sushi places in San Jose but none stood out in comparison to Senro Sushi. They have excellent rolls, very prompt service and have a nice ambience which many sushi restaurants lack. Our absolute favorite is Shelby roll which we order every time. Unfortunately, we don’t have the food pictures as it’s very hard for us to resist gobbling down the rolls as soon as they are served!

Been going here for years and the quality seems to have increased recently! I always get the Tsunami Roll and it’s deliciously fresh and bright, perfect for the hot weather. The portions are pretty big compared to similarly priced restaurants! My roll always has huge pieces of sashimi on top and is filled to the brim with fish on the inside as well. I think their food is well worth the price, you definitely get what you pay for. The negihama roll is also great and the fish always tastes so clean and fresh. I also love their octopus karaage. Service has always been great and we’ve never been left waiting. They give delivery orders the same amount of food which is very nice, but their DD menu doesn’t have all of their items so I recommend going in-person.
June 2025 Weekday lunch with colleagues: we sat outside. Service was fairly quick and they checked on us a few times for drink refills and small extras for the meal. We ordered lunch combos: a 3 item set (teriyaki salmon & chicken, tuna slices), nigiri set and unagi roll, and a 3 roll set (salmon avocado, tuna avocado, and unagi). The teriyaki sauce over the grilled salmon and chicken seemed a bit much to me; consider asking for more or less per your preference. The 3 sets of rolls were much larger than I was expecting. The salmon and tuna chunks were solid (not chopped up) and very filling. The nigiri were beautiful and eaten quickly. We really enjoyed our lunch.
Supporting neighborhood foods place. They are actually really good. I would give 4 1/2 stars if I can. Place look pretty nice. Parking is good...Will come again try others foods. I do recommend.
Really good sushi and lunch specials! Waiters were hard to find but took our order quickly. Lots of variety on the menu including kobe beef and baked rice!
Food was presented beautifully, the sushi rolls were delicious. The soup I ordered did not taste as I would have expected; however, I soon forgot because desert came along and it was pleasing both to my eyes and my taste buds. Service was nice and prompt. I will be back.

Went to go pick up my order and was welcomed by a worker that was on their phone with their back towards me; another worker needed to get their attention to help me. My patience was rewarded with burned tobiko on top of the fried rice. I understand that it’s baked but it really shouldn’t be hard to add the tobiko after you bake the fried rice. The dragon roll and chicken karaage were okay. The main appeal of this place is the convenience since it’s close by, nothing else.
Place was clean and lax. The host welcomed me in and took my to-go order quickly and efficiently. They finished my order faster than I had expected. However, the quality of the food was mediocre. Despite being a special roll, the size and taste- both being satisfactory- were underwhelming when compared to other places that have larger portion sizes. $16.50 for this portion size is asking a bit too much from the customer who wanted to satisfy their sushi craving. Not a fan nor a favorite of this sushi restaurant despite its convenient location in my area.

Sushi is ok. Not great quality. Too much teriyaki sauce. And just give you tap water. Bento box meet tasted like it was from Chili’s. The shrimp wax 75 percent batter.
Not bad but not great. Didn't get a spoon with my miso soup and asked for one but never was given one. The soup wasn’t hot. The sushi rolls were not as proportioned as other places. I don’t think I’ll be back

I have been coming here for years! Since they opened. But I am in shock. How is it possible that you have an empty restaurant, and you have audacity to treat people with such disrespect. I was told to pick my seat by the host and then an Asian lady come and said I couldn’t sit at a table. I asked if it was reserved, and she said no. But that I couldn’t sit it in. It was a 2 person table in the corner, and I walked in with my two kids, trying to find a little corner to keep them tamed. Maybe they just don’t need my business. They must prefer their restaurant empty. After this being my go to spot for many years, this seriously was so disrespectful they LOST MY BUSINESS.

We ordered Chirashi but the assorted sashimi were not fresh. We also ordered large Sapporo for drinks but found out later during payment that it was not included in the happy hour price. The waiter should have notified us about it in the beginning because we asked her if we are still in the happy hour timeframe prior to ordering it. We will not comeback and we will not recommend this place!
