Taco Mania San Jose Reviews
This is my first time here at this location, I'm from Fresno, CA. Really wanted a burrito, and this spot hit the SPOT! Thank you and ordering on line was very easy no complaints. The service was great cashier and cook were nice. They even mentioned the sales for Wednesday... al pastor tacos buy one get one free... FOOD ON POINT!
Last time I gave 4 star but this time it is 6 star or 5 star. I went today on Weds & it was really good. This is the best time i came for 2 for 1 Taco. They have Pork Taco with Pineapple on Weds and they only charge for one taco on Weds, so make sure you try the special on tacos for Weds. They only charge one taco but you get 2 Tacos ( Pork only). So today, the Tacos were huge. Maybe because I came pretty late ( at 8:30pm) so they might as well get rid of the Pork at 8:30pm on Weds. I also order Bean & Cheese burrito. The Bean & Cheese Burrito tonight was very very good. It was the best Bean Burrito I had in a long time. So whomever the cook was, he was Generous & carefully made my Burrito It taste so good. I have not had good food in long time. So whoever is the cook on Weds night. You are the best. And thank you for a Huge Burrito. Not only was it very big. It was also carefully made and Delicious. Cashier nice too. She only needs to remember Bean Burrito has only Beans & Cheese. I am not Spanish but i know how to speak Spanish so I remind her I want Frijoles and Queso...Solamente Frijoles! It was Delicious & I am once again in love with Mexican food.
I ordered the alambre sabroson, chicken, bell peppers onions and cheese. It was excellent. Big portion size, too. They serve with yummy small corn tortillas. I took my food to go because the tables were sticky. Other than that, it's so good!
Delicious tacos at a reasonable price! Even better on Wednesdays as tacos pastor are BOGO free! Carne Asada and Pastor meat are nicely grilled and juicy. Not dry at all. Tortillas are firm and sturdy which do not break apart when picking up with hands. Mangos on the pastor meat nicely balances the flavors from the meat, onions, cilantro and any of the salsas. I've tried the quesabirria which was excellent! Not busy at all throughout the day and has decent parking. They have other locations but have only tried this one. Definitely my go to for taco cravings!
This truck accept credits, debits. Not a lot of truck does this. Eating bench are plenty and clean. I order regular taco and super taco. They are both delicious! Compliments them with the usual 3 sauce blend, green, orange and red.. the orange sauce is so good, the red sauce caught me off guard.. that thang is spicy with a kick that makes the taco dance in your mouth. You just earned a new regular.
Was looking for a lunch spot after a meeting. I came across this place for lunch and decided to try it out based on the reviews. Their al pastor taco was delicious. By far, one of the best ones I've had in a long time. I love when they serve you this particular taco with pineapples on top. Golden. The burrito was delicious as well. The atmosphere was very nice. I have plenty of tables, and space for people, to sit the parking spot was kind of small and tight. So I have to park on the side and block a car. 🤦🏽♀️ The staff was friendly and the food was quick, so thankful my bad parking didn't affect folks for too long. I'll be going back again. I also noticed that they have a buy two, get one free on Wednesday, for their tacos. Just for any of the taco lovers out there. It's al pastor only though. Which is nothing but great news to me ❤️
I'm going to have to say my two "little" tacos packed a great flavorful punch. I got two taco supers; one with Lengua (cow tongue) and one with pollo and it hit the spot perfectly. The soft shelled tacos were packed a lot more than it looks from the picture and it was very tasty. This will be my GO TO authentic Mexican grub spot in that area. For $8.40 plus tip you definitely can't go wrong. I liked the outdoor "backyard" bench style set up as well. Mucho gracias
The food was pretty good, as a Mexico City visitor I enjoyed the food although the gringa wasn’t what I fully expected (single tortilla instead of another on top. Service can improve. It felt like they were having fun but not a precisely joy receiving people, so meh. That’s really important for me. Would return, sure. But I hope service does get warmer and welcoming. Atmosphere was good, place to sit and parking. Some background music would help tho.
Very tasty carnitas tacos. A bit pricey but good.
Very decent Mexican foods and I enjoy their burrito. Recommend to have some if you are around the neighborhood.
Tacomania is OK. I reckon they thrive on the convenience factor; location and hours. It has potential to be better... but so far its just OK. Nothing special. I like the salsa, It's tastes fresh, like it was just made. The downside is the pricing on the menu; Tacomania is a bit on the pricey side for mediocre food. There are several Taquerias about a 10 min drive away that are far better... With all the competition in the area Tacomania just needs to provide a better value or absolutely outstanding dishes. At the moment it fails to do either of the two. I found the super tacos are the only thing on the menu that are a value. They are a fair bit larger than the regular tacos and taste the same. ~ Super Burrito - 3/5 I got a Tripas Super Burrito... it came out to almost $15. It was just meh... I asked for extra Crispy Tripas...annnddd it wasn't. Think I'll stick with my standard go to... Taqueria Lorena's. I remember now why I don't stop by here more...
First time going little brother recommended the place he got tacos and I got a Mexican sandwich called a torta the torta was very dry they didn't use traditional bread just a regular sesame seed bun for hamburgers I was surprised there was absolutely no sauce on the buns the pastor was very dry no flavor not even salt the only ingredients were pastor pickled jalapenos and whole beans the sandwich is very messy and dry when I try to split it apart everything flew out of the sandwich my brother had tacos he said they tasted really well the salsa the green salsa was very tasty I didn't like the red salsa it tastes like marinara with with spice the place was clean the food truck look very clean inside they had their own little lot so that was kind of cool yeah I wouldn't go back but if you've never been I guess you can give it a shot and I heard they're open past 2:00 a.m. so that's good
