Nice place with plenty of seating. Great place to just chill. Service: The bartender is nice. Service seems pretty quick. No one really hassling you. Alcohol: Large selection of beer on draft. They have a good selection of house cocktails. Seating: There is plenty of seats and tables. They have seating inside and outside. Heated lamps for the outside. They have couch seating indoor as well. Ambience: Music is loud as well as people's conversation. Live music outdoor. Great place to just chill. If you want a more busier atmosphere then try the bars next door or hit up San Pedro Market.

This place has a great vibe and menu. The cocktails menu is really interesting. I loved the Raspberry Hangglider and the spicy summer breeze. The staff is super friendly and it's great service. You can grab a drink and sit in the porch behind the bar where they have live music on Friday (not sure of the regular schedule)

First time here, not a very big menu of cocktails, but the ones they do have are great! My favorite was the strawberry daquiri! Numerous seating and live music, I believe every night. Parking garage next door too makes it super convenient.

Whiskey? Whiskey??? Did I just see an array of whiskey bottles lined out in the back of the bar area? Woohoo!! Every visit to SPSM, I've been meaning to check out Garage Bar but always ran out of luck because they'd close shop or they weren't open at the time. I found it difficult to catch them at the time I'm around. Finally! My dreams came true. I came early to grab a bite to eat and have a drink before I had to leave for a concert. Surprise, surprise...they were open! Friendly brunette bartender, cute, giggles and all the of the above, she asked the typical questions any bartender would ask, "what would you like to drink?" Scanning through the bottles of whiskey hanging in the back of the bar, I couldn't decide what I wanted. All smiles, she suggested if I wanted something bold or light to taste. I considered for the light tasting and she was kind enough to let me take a sip before finalizing my decision. Delighted, I went for Eagle Trace and Four Roses. As much as I liked both, I didn't have enough time to try others on the list. Great atmosphere all around! I wish I knew what their operating hours were since I could never get there at the right time, but I'll keep coming back just to get a taste of what the Garage Bar has to offer!

Drink selection is much improved! A full bar selection now. No food that I'm aware of but surrounded by other stalls in the building that DO have amazing food! Huge space with a garage doors that open in nice weather and allow seating outside.

Once of the many zones you can hang out at San Pedro Square. Bartenders are skilled, open airy atmosphere, and just an overall good vibe. Most of the time it's more chill than the rest of the areas so you'll see students reading, professional remote workers on laptops, friends enjoying coffee and pastries, buddies catching up over cocktails... we're lucky to be close by And frequent this place weekly as a Sunday ritual.

A nice selection of cute and unique antiques. The ladies who work there were so welcoming and easy to talk to. I hope Montebello Antique store goes well for them so that they can stick around!

Absolutely amazing customer service and great beers!! I came back 2x in one day! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I called at 11:30pm panicking for missing my credit card. Miguel answered and said he would check and give me an update. He gave me an update within 5 minutes on the status of my card. I will absolutely be returning to this place! Amazing ambiance to enjoy with friends!!

As soon as I entered I smelled the stench of great coffee and good jazz music. As I went to the bar I was immediately looking for the speaker or jukebox playing the music and little did I know it was a trio playing Live music. Atmosphere was Victorian and I felt under clothed but was too buzzed to care. The waitress was great and so was the beer. I really love it here.

We chatted with someone who seemed to be the manager and he was really friendly and engaging. He helped us pick out a good drink based on what food we had ordered and what our preferences were and helped us pick the right size to get a good deal. Highly recommend!

With craft beer offering from California, Oregon, Michigan, just to name a few, this bar has a chic and industrial feel with friendly staff. WiFi is stronger on this end of the San Pedro Square Market, which explains the many opened laptops at most of the tables. Between the bar and couches, it's easy to chill out with some food from vendors in that space pair with your favorite glass of beer (or cider, wine or cocktail).

Not the friendliest staff for sure. You’d think the bartenders were doing us a favor taking orders and pouring three drinks. But not to let that get us down, the place is still pretty cool and they have some good whiskeys. Enjoyed some Japanese whiskey on the rocks. I should say one big square rock of ice which was nice in itself. I’ve been here a couple times and despite not receiving that welcome feeling, I’ll probably come again.

I ordered one of their Halloween speciality drinks and it was only half full and looked like it had residue or chunks in the drink. I brought it to the bartenders attention and she said “this is how we make it.” Since I didn’t want to pay for a half full chunky cocktail for over $15, I asked her to take it off my tab and that I didn’t want to drink it. She then became super rude about it, but did take it off my bill. I ordered a beer instead (decent beer list). There is plenty of seating and they have decent TVs to watch sports, but otherwise pretty mid. When I closed my tab, the other bartender was friendly and quick.

The special drink for Santa crawl was terrible. It was like drinking rubbing alcohol. It was transparent with 4 cherries. Bang $12. Didn’t drink it. It was cheap alcohol. Disappointing

The bartender was absolutely horrible to me and my colleague. I have never felt less included in a bar. Firstly she did not explain California law that they don’t accept international drivers licenses and instead made me feeel stupid and small; when I asked her for drinks she asked for IDs of ALL people and when I provided it she refused to serve me because of my “attitude” and then called her manager on me … I felt this was pretty racist because she was offended by my English … by attitude all I did was ask her questions about the law and she got offended … this place is unpleasant and unrelaxing because of the female bartender .. she will abuse her power. She makes us feel small and useless, she is not welcoming and not a good person. She made me cry and I dislike this place because of that .. Avoid this place if you can.

Discriminatory and highly unprofessional! I went last night with my partner to the bar looking to have a nice drink and relax after we had a long day. We approached the bar where there was two empty seats. The counter had dirty glasses and was wet. We sat and waited to be approached. We were approached by a bartender who had blood shot eyes and appeared to be intoxicated himself. My partner asked for water since he was thirty. The bartender with a very snarky attitude said the water was at a station nearby . We were going to order our drinks and he left. We waited a long time to be approached by anyone else but they purposely seemed to avoid us. Eventually we asked a female bartender if she could clear the area and take our drink order. She responded to my partner and told him that according to management we could only be served water because we were deemed highly intoxicated!! We were both completely in shock and taken aback as anyone in our situation would be. I asked for an explanation. She repeated herself and I said what are the signs of intoxication they supposedly see in us because we aren't presenting any . We had just arrived and had not had a single drop of alcohol. I felt discriminated against and so did my partner. We felt they judged his tone of voice and the tempo in which he speaks. I asked to speak to the manager to which she walked away and came back to tell me i wasn't allowed to speak to them ! What type of manager does not fulfill their role and do the tasks required of a manager especially in situations like this. We left after this whole situation . Overall we felt embarrassed and indignant over this very discriminatory situation.
