Fun casual joint with music while you enjoy well prepared smoked bbq. Portions are great, happy hour items included. The brussel sprouts with tritip is to die for.

Fun, lively bbq, and friendly staff. Beans are tasty but I'd skip the potato salad, maybe too much mustard for my taste but 25 beers on tap and a full bar, everyone is going to be pleased. Casual dining and overall, a good deal. I'd stop in again.

Amazing BBQ. The beef ribs had so much meat on them it was hard to finish. The sides and the bread pudding were delicious. I will definitely be back!

If you are looking for a tasty BBQ spot, Bad To The Bone Is it. I typically order the tri-tip plate every time I visit because it is so good and the meat is tender. Today we added the Tallow fries with bacon and cheese. It did not disappoint. Probably the tastiest dish I have ever had for a topped/loaded fry dish. But overall, everything on the menu is good. Another great addition to mention, they have dog friendly patio seating .

I am a takeout regular for the brisket meal. Chopped & Moist is a tasty way to go! Mac & Cheese and Corn on the Cob sides are always high quality. Cornbread with house butter is a nice touch. Guitar players for atmosphere on the weekend. Great spot.

Absolutely the best BBQ I’ve ever had — hands down! The meat was insanely tender, juicy, and packed with smoky flavor. Easily the most delicious meat I’ve ever eaten in my life. Can’t wait to come back! This is the kind of BBQ that makes you tear up with happiness — it’s that good.

My wife n I came to try this place and I have to say everything we had was better than Jack's in Lake Elsinore. We got the 4 meat combination that consisted of baby back spare ribs, brisket, tri tip, and pulled pork. We got the mac n cheese and corn bread as our sides. My wifendidnt really like the BBQ sauce and I did. My wife didn't really like the brisket were i did. Monday is pretty empty @ 2:00 pm just FYI. You can smell this place from a good distance and it is as good as it smells. Im sure the other meats we didn't have are going to be just as good. Do give it a try and make your own review. Everybody is different, and your going to get those 5 stars and 1 star reviews.

A Califotnia BBQ Joint. One of the better features is they asked me how I wanted my meet dry moisture in between. It was delivered to my liking Another feature was a full cob of corn from The Grill excellent see my photo of it the restaurant displayed excellent cleanliness. I watched the employee clean the table I was impressed among the better cleaning jobs I have seen. An interesting feature was a clean wash sink between the two restrooms. To wash your sticky fingers from the barbecue sauce. realize the sauce is not Texas or Kansas City or Carolina flavor. I would say it is more tomato-based California style by the way free parking.

What a great BBQ smokehouse! You simply won't find better ribs or brisket or prime rib anywhere in So. Cal! Melt in your mouth meats and great sides. I personally love the fried ochre and the onion rings!

Great tasty BBQ, all meats are delicious. There are options for dining; order at the counter and seat yourself or outside seating, is normal table service and they have patio heaters. They also have catering you can order online in advance and pick up large family boxes of barbecue with sides.

I absolutely love Bad to the Bone restaurant, especially because of the amazing bartender Carry. Every time I visit, she goes above and beyond to make sure my experience is top-notch. From her friendly demeanor to her expertly crafted cocktails, Carry never fails to impress. The atmosphere at Bad to the Bone is always lively and fun, and the food is delicious too. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great time with great service. Keep up the fantastic work, Carry!

My husband and I shared the 4 meat combo plate. 2 pieces of tri tip, 3 pieces of brisket 3 ribs and a pile of smoked sausage. All the meat was delicious.

Liked it alot! The Baby Back Ribs were fabulous, as were the Brussels Sprouts, corn and cornbread. I had the combo with brisket which was tasty but a bit dry and not quite tender. Others in my party had the same experience with the brisket and the tri-tip in the past.

I was underwhelmed by the brisket and tri-tip. I found them both dry and a little tough. The brisket was inconsistent, with some parts that would fall apart if you waved a fork above it, and others were chewy. The macaroni and cheese was okay. It had a good texture and had a good amount of cheese. I would have liked a little bit of Cheddary flavor profile. The cornbread was solid, with good flavor, and a nice soft consistency. I almost ordered more. The star of dinner was the garlic smashed potatoes. They were smooth, almost to the point of being a puree, buttery, and garlicky. I liked them more than the macaroni and cheese. The best dish we had was the chocolate and vanilla bread pudding. This is a five star example of what bread pudding should be. Topped with some decadent vanilla ice cream, you wanted to eat it with your eyes. If a warm hug was edible, it would be this dish. The service was great and the prices were fair. The atmosphere was laid back and well decorated. We sat inside, but the dog-friendly patio looked nice too. (As did the giant dog who was out there.) Even though all of the meal wasn't my favorite, I'd definitely I have for dinner eat there again.

Came for dinner and it was okay. Amicable (young) staff, quick service. Ambiance is a little gloomy, dim lighting, tavern vibes. Price to portion of food was fair. Food was luke warm (was expecting a more fresh/hot cooked meat) of pork and chicken. Mac and cheese with chicken was great, as well as corn bread. Plenty of free parking in the lot.

Southern girl from VA so I’ll give it to ya. It was a very honest attempt and the best my husband and I have had in California this far. The live music was awesome and so was the atmosphere but the food could use some work. I had the two meat plate. Half rack of baby back ribs, Carolina pulled pork with sweet potato fries and collards. The ribs were cooked too quickly and lacked sauce, the sauce that came on the side was too sweet. Carolina pulled pork lacked the sauce it needed to consider it Carolina style, same goes for the greens. I asked my server (who was super kind) for vinegar and his poor soul brought me malt vinegar… cornbread was on point. I know this isn’t the south and can’t nobody do it like the south but overall it was an enjoyable experience. (Also my husband said the Mac n’ cheese was awesome)

Good BBQ place, the Brisket and Tri Tip were quite tender, the brisket could be cut with a fork. The pulled pork for me, while good, I believe it'd be better if I had it in a sandwich. The sides are good but they're not the main attraction.

I really like the vibe here, you can walk in and seat yourself and there is also a counter for take out which is very convenient. However our server was less than welcoming, and didn’t understand what I meant when I asked what cocktail on the menu they could make non alcoholic. He also did not check on us the whole time and other tables had to keep flagging down him or whoever walked by to get what they wanted. The food was good(minus the ribs which taste really dry). We sat on the patio and liked the ambience there especially with the evening live music which was entertaining.

We drove from Anaheim to try this place, I would give a B- We ordered potatoe skins, we're heated up not made fresh, so that was disappointing. The Bbq was ok, the ribs were also a reheat. The mac and cheese was good, as well as the sweet potato fries. With all the reviews we had read, expected much better.

My wife and I are big barbecue lovers, so we were excited to give this place a try. We spent a little over $80 on a glass of beer, a prime rib sandwich and a two‑meat plate with brisket, tri‑tip, potato salad, and baked beans. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to the price tag. The prime rib sandwich was the highlight of the meal—tender, flavorful, and genuinely enjoyable. The sides, however, were hit‑or‑miss. The fries that came with the sandwich were undercooked and lukewarm, which took away from an otherwise solid dish. On the two‑meat plate, the tri‑tip was cooked well but surprisingly flavorless and also lukewarm. The brisket was the biggest letdown: dry, lacking seasoning, and served barely warm. For a barbecue spot, that’s a tough miss. The baked beans were delicious and easily the best side we tried. The potato salad, on the other hand, was overwhelmingly vinegary, and the cornbread was dry enough that it ended the meal on a disappointing note. Overall, there were a few bright spots, but too many basics fell short—especially for the price.

Atmosphere, felt a little like stuck in the 70s. Service, not the most warm and thrilling. I asked the clerk at the food order desk what the side orders were and he simply pointed to the board behind him without turning around. Food-Disappointed. It wasn’t up to the hype that I had heard about this place. I ordered the tri-tip. It was chewy and dry. Sad. The cole-slaw didn’t have any flavor. The corn bread was basic. It was an uneventful meal. This is not a full service restaurant. We ordered at the counter and got our cups for our own sodas at the drink station. Everything is self serve except that they bring the the flatware and the food. I can do better at home.

Heard great things about this restaurant, and maybe the hype was too much. The meat was dry, the sides were uninspired. The beans tasted very similar to Bush’s out of a can. The potato salad was mid at best. Just not impressed for the price tag.
