Safari Gyro San Juan Reviews
Food was great and served fast, the employees were very nice and made sure our meals were made to perfection. Definitely coming back for the gyro fries!
Really enjoyed the chicken shawarma I got here. It was very good and I would definitely eat here again.
Our food was delicious! Fresh and perfectly baked pita, fresh vegetables, flavorful meat, and the brightest tzaziki sauce I've ever tasted. I've got to go back and try their baklava. The bottled lassi they sell hits the spot. I knew it was a good sign that they opened on my birthday, hahaha! Highly recommend!
Good food. Quick friendly. More of a middle eastern take on gyro. Very good unique almost sweet taste. It was late so we only got carryout. Restaurant appeared clean and in good location.
Food is top of the line. Service is quick and efficient. A nice environment and atmosphere to go along with it as well. Some of the best Gyro fries I've tasted
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stopped in on a rainy Seattle night while traveling and ordered the Veggie Saj Wrap #7 (falafel) and WOW. This wrap is layered with falafel, cauliflower, hummus, tahini, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, and onions, all toasted and wrapped in warm Saj bread for $12.50. I also added a side of Basmati Rice #24 for $5.95, and I’m so glad I did. The total came out to $20.36 which is a great price for what you receive. First impression: beautiful presentation. The Saj wrap is perfection, not too crispy, not too soft, just right. Every ingredient shines, and the tahini sauce ties everything together seamlessly. The flavor combination literally dances on your tongue. It’s impeccable with tahini, and somehow just as incredible without it. The Basmati rice deserves its own praise: perfectly cooked, seasoned just right, not too hard, not too soft. Pro tip: take a bite of the wrap with the rice added in. It takes the entire experience to another level with an explosion of flavor. If you’re looking for fantastic vegetarian options, whether you’re visiting someone at the nearby hospital or exploring downtown Seattle, this place is an absolute must. The restaurant is clean, the restrooms are spotless, and the staff is genuinely pleasant and kind. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfectly located on the corner next to the hospital. Huge thank you to the amazing staff Amancio and kitchen for such a memorable meal. I’ll absolutely be back. — The Traveling Truck Show 🚚✨
Down the street from Virginia Mason and sits next to Swedish hospital,Gyro Saj is a great fast food destination that is super tasty. You can sit down or take it to go, they have their basic gyros, but also salads which are quite large (I usually go for their gyro salad with tzatziki and hummus). Its my go to when visiting and have medical appointments
Gyro Saj is a fantastic fast-casual Middle Eastern spot with impressively quick service and consistently hot, flavorful food. I tried the gyro wrap and a veggie plate, which came with a generous assortment of salad, hummus, baba ghanoush, falafel, dolma, and a side of garlic sauce. Every item was fresh and delicious, and the flavors really stood out. The Greek fries were outstanding, and the gyro wrap was especially tasty. With dishes priced between $10-14, it’s great value for the quality. Definitely a must-visit if you’re looking for quick, flavorful Middle Eastern food!
Really nice place for gyro. The meat was well seasoned and tender. The falafel with finely minced pulses tasted really good and the hummus was light and fluffy. The sprinkling of cinnamon made their chicken shawarma very aromatic. The food is served in very generous portions and after I chomped my way through their chicken shawarma plate I could barely walk! The branch art installation lends a quirky touch.
Lovely place. Kind & welcoming staff. Yummy gyros. & quick service! I’ve only tried the chicken one but it’s amaze & fresh. I haven’t had like real a gyro from Greece so I’m imaging if a real ones like a 5 right ? this place has to be a 4. Would recommend !
I ordered Chicken Saj Shawarma, Classic Chicken Gyro and Greek Fries. As the ingredients were displayed, they were so fresh. Also, the portions were very generous. However, the foods were just about average. Few tips I would like to add, 1) you can choose either white or wheat pita bread for non-shawarma sandwiches, 2) sandwiches with Shawarma comes only with tortilla, not pita bread. This place is right next to the Swedish hospital building. It’s quite small, but clean and the accessibility was great. Also, I was very impressed by the staffs how they were willing to help me understand the difference between the menus and nice. Overall, it was a pleasant visit, but I’d love to check out other gyro places.
If you've never had gyro, this is the place for you, because when you actually have a real one, it will be 2 completely different experiences. The staff is super friendly and the fries great, but $7 for a side of fries is high. Fries 5 star, gyro 1 star
I'm not understanding the reviews here. Their food is barely edible. There's only beef/lamb mix. No lamb only. The meat off the spit (beef/lamb) was super salty and full of fillers ie hardly any meat. I've eaten Mediterranean all my life. I'm not understanding what others like about this restaurant. Maybe my preference is for traditional Mediterranean vs a Chipotle of Mexican food. Good luck!
