Tacos to go San Juan Reviews
Have been here multiple times and they have been consistently serving authentic Mexican food. There’s seating indoors and a few tables outdoor. We got the. Carnitas, birria and carne asada tacos and all of them were delicious! Do give them a try.
I can’t quite adequately rate this on a five-star scale. Food, service, and atmosphere were above five stars for me. I ordered tacos (adobado y de cabeza) and a quesadilla de maiz (asada). It all was excellent. Chips and salsa were some of the best that I’ve had. Very comfortable dining experience. The location is set off the main road, so not too much traffic or noise. I highly recommend!
Best torta I’ve had in a looooong time (I didn’t take the best picture)
Let me tell y'all what this place is 🔥! Some of the best food I have had in the southern California. First, the service was good, the vibe was great, and the food was delicious. This place is small so the wait might be a bit, but definitely worth it. They sell breakfast all day, but highly recommend the chile relleno with the handmade tortillas. The burritos were also delicious. Especially the shrimp Burrito. Looks to be a family run spot so the service was a bit slower, but who cares the food makes up for it. So if you are in the area or you want to make a day trip out of it, I would say stop by and enjoy a good meal!
Delicious ! So worth the drive from the beach
I love El Coyotito not only for it's totally home made meals, but also it's atmosphere. It feels like I'm sitting in someone's kitchen. It's not formal, but it's also not a "taco shop". Fresh squeezed OJ is good. Sit at the small counter and you can watch your food being made. A neighborhood kitchen of sorts. Always the same hardworking staff. It can get busy.
Well cooked, delicious mojarra frita dish. 🐟🐠👌I forgot to take a better picture before I started😅

El Coyotito is a fantastic spot for authentic Mexican food! We started with the guacamole, which was fresh and had a perfect blend of lime and spice. For my main course, I had the chicken enchiladas in a rich mole sauce—it was incredible. The street tacos were also a hit, with tender, flavorful meat and fresh toppings." "The atmosphere is lively and fun, with vibrant decor and background music that adds to the experience without being overwhelming. It felt like a great place for both a casual dinner with friends and a family meal." "Service was prompt and friendly from the moment we walked in. Our server was attentive, offered great recommendations, and made sure our drinks were always full. I highly recommend El Coyotito for anyone looking for delicious food and a great time!"
One of the best Mexican food!!!! From chilaquiles, to birria menudo sea food tacos!!!!! It's all great delicious food totally recommend it!
You can tell a place is gonna be good if the salsa is bomb. This is a hole in the wall family owned business. The great service and food clearly has made it a place for locals to visit and stay loyal. The tortillas are made fresh to order and their seafood is delicious. Nothing that we have had so far here has been subpar. They have dessert even if it's not on the menu. 10/10 would recommend.
I brought my Mother, brother and sister-in-law yesterday and we all had wonderful meals and friendly superb service!! Homemade tortillas for everything served, food so obviously authentic and just so tasty! We will definitely be back to this little gem and pass the word as it is so worth going!

First time visit, looking for a new burrito place. I had the chorizo burrito, good spice, not too hot. I thought it was a little expensive at $12. Served with a little bag of chips. Not sure if I’ll try it again.
the meat portions in my tacos were small given the price. The food was good and we’ll be coming back to try more. I believe my future experiences will be better.
The food is okay, nothing amazing but el Cafe de Olla is very good. I got huevos a la Mexicana, beans and steak.

Flavor, Flavor, Flavor!! We ordered the nachos and a wet burrito and were NOT disappointed. The nachos had toppings beyond the ordinary and were muy sabroso. Asada is juicy and moist. Highly recommend this place. We loved the vibe and that the cooks and wait staff were singing happily while they were preparing a delicious meal.
Food is good and the portions are large. Service was quick. It's not the best Mexican food but you'll enjoy it

Their web site has them opening at 8am on Sunday. I arrive at 8:20am and employees tell me they don't open until 9am. I tell them about their web site hours and they get defensive. No apology either.

The new owner was very rude. She charges extra for chips extra for salsa and charge me a fee for using my ATM card. It was not right considering that we spent over $95 for three of us anytime I ask for something she would charge me.
Horrible! I ordered a beef broth (caldo de res) I only can say it was bad on taste!!! the meat they put inside had a lot of fat "puro pellejo y gordura" My friend ordered shrimp fajitas (fajitas de camarón ) which I thank the waiter who helped us with the order because shrimp fajitas is not in the menu , however the food was very bad and the shrimp were cut into pieces. That was something that made me think that they put just a little bit of shrimp in the plate. it made me think that they wanted to save food, the prices are expensive and the atmosphere is bad Some drunk paisas were drunk. Ohhh, the micheladas are bad, they taste sweet and not like the real micheladas. I don't recommend this place
