The Sandwich Lab is such a tiny spot you could blink and miss it, but their sandwiches definitely grab your attention. There are no tables or chairs, so it’s not the place to hang out—it’s more of a “grab your sandwich and go” situation. I tried El Caribeño: good flavor, generous portion, kind of like that reliable friend who may not be the life of the party but always shows up. Prices run between $13 and $17, which isn’t exactly cheap. Parking is right out front, they take contactless payments, and if you want the smoothest experience, ordering through Uber Eats is the way to go.

I wasn't impressed. Actually, I was disappointed. I ordered the sandwich with pernil (roasted pork) with amarillos (fried ripe plantain), and it didn't have the good seasoning taste of pernil, either it had enough amarillo to taste like it has some.
