Just got done with my HH Invitational slider, and I just want to say that it was hands down the HOTTEST chicken sandwich I have had in my life. It was also one of the tastiest, with great flavor in the slaw, fresh quality buns, and a massive piece of chicken to top it off! The service was excellent when I picked up my food, and the sandwich is something I will never forget. Keep up the good work HellaHot, I'll be back.

You guys, I am so happy we stopped by. Having late lunch on a Thursday was pretty chill. There wasn't many people dining and we made sure to order many things to try. Everything was delicious, but the deep fried oreos tasted so fresh, wow! The heat on mild was very mild so will try the next one up next time we visit. I have to give a shout out to the staff, they were extremely nice. Keep up the great work!

not only is the food here good, the atmosphere and people are so friendly and welcoming. i’ve never once had a negative experience here, this place is like my little home since the people are always so kind! i tend to stick with ordering fries but the portions are big enough for 2 meals for me! i also love their mac and their deep fried oreos always hit the spot. i’ve been coming here for the last 3 or so years and plan to keep going back!

Some of the best hot chicken I’ve had! I got the Sando and absolutely loved it. The chicken was tender and perfectly spicy (I ordered medium spice). They toast the buns and add in chilled coleslaw and pickles for a fresh, savory chicken sandwich. The Sando comes with seasoned fries and a spicy fry sauce to complete the meal. Wholly satisfied and fully recommend for all levels of spicy chicken lovers!

Killer sliders and tenders and Hot wasn't an understatement, those tenders had some bite and the fries had an awesome season too. Service was quick and super friendly, happy to chat about the new space. If we lived in town we'd be back on a regular basis. The fried Oreos were an amazing dessert.

My husband and I ordered two MILD (wasn’t spicy at all which is what we wanted) sandwich meals which each came with fries and a drink. I also got an order of fried pickles (I wish they came with ranch but they were very fresh and good). And last we ordered the Mac and cheese with the chicken on top and it’s a good lighter Mac and cheese. Everything was absolutely delicious and everything had really good flavors. The slaw and pickles were perfect on the sandwich. The meal also comes with a tangy sauce that we used to dip our fries into. My husband literally said it’s one of the best chicken sandwiches he’s ever had. We will definitely be back. *the only thing we’d change is we wish they had high chairs

By far my favorite place to go and have a nice lunch in SLO. The staff here is fantastic, they are always so kind and place the customer first. The food is consistently amazing thanks to Miguel. Jeff and Crystal behind the counter are always super welcoming and have always made sure I am taken care of.

HH Invitational is super fire. By that I mean super spicy. I have tried many different chicken places that have popped up over the years. This is by far the hottest. But there’s a catch. The chicken tasted so good and was seasoned with wonderful taste. 🔥🔥🔥 Waiting for the rebound tomorrow morning. 😆😆😆😆🤦🏻‍♂️🎉

This is my housemate and I’s favorite food joint ever since they opened: the chicken, sauces, and all bowls are so flavorful and fun to eat!! The portions are pretty big, one $11-$13 bowl usually lasts me about 2 meals. I’ve been a regular on doordash and sometimes go in person, and, oh my gosh, the service is always immaculate!! HellaHot in SLO is a legit hot chicken spot! 🔥 This was my first time trying it, so I went for the Sando with fries , Hot level, there are two levels more above this one. It was not as hot as I thought it would be. If your a Hot chicken sando lover the heat is just right. I’m definitely trying the Hella Hot level next time. The convinces are there’s a NiteCremery ice cream next to it just in case you get too spicy!!

The fries were devoured in less than 5 minutes by 2 kids. Best fries they ever had and we tried many many places.

Definitely a must visit with the cute courtyard it’s nestled in. Don’t bother with Dave’s, this is THE sandwich. So so good!

As a fan of the Hot Ones television show and having done the Hot Ones challenge a dozen times, I wasn’t impressed with the heat/spice of the sandwich. For perspective, I ordered the second hottest sandwich, the Hellahot. It wasn’t hella hot. Not that it didn’t have a kick, but I expected far worse considering the next level required signing a waiver. Don’t misunderstand me tho, the sandwich was delicious! I absolutely loved the flavor, the crispiness, and the toppings! The sandwiches come with a good portion of fries. The fries are lightly seasoned. I found them perfect, but my toddler didn’t like the seasoning. We made the mistake of ordering him a side of fries, which was unnecessary, since our sandos came with them, as previously stated. However, the side of fries was HUGE. It comes with their special sauce rather than ketchup. A soda cost us almost $4, and while ridiculously overpriced, that’s just the state of fast food these days. There isn’t indoor seating, but plenty outside the establishment. Beware tho, despite not finding the sandwich very hot going in, the next morning was a completely different story. Should’ve signed a waiver for that! 🤣

Gotta come back and try something spicier other than that it was really good I had the wrap and my husband the sandwich, crispy hot French fries and fried pickles for me.
