Piadina San Luis Obispo Reviews
Went here based on recommendations on Resy - we were coming in to town for a concert and wanted to grab dinner before the show. We arrived on a Wednesday around 5:45 and found street parking. You can valet at the hotel ($11), meter parking, or the parking structure across the street. Restaurant is spacious and modern. I had the roasted chicken breast (also recommended by our server). My companions had pizza. We shared the beet salad, a bottle of Tempranillo and the blackberry sorbet. All outstanding. We were all really pleased at the deliciousness of all of the dishes. 10/10 would go back there again.
loved eating lunch here! everything was served promptly, and it was all delicious! the portion sizes are also great for the price. atmosphere and service was great as well, and our server Hakeem was lovely!
Everything here was EXCELLENT. the food 10/10 service 10/10. Our waiter Hakeem was super attentive and knowledgeable. He made great recommendations and was accommodating.
We had a group dinner after an event and it was perfect. We sat outside and the heat lamps worked well to keep us warm. The waitor knew the menu and drinks and gave outstanding recommendations. Get the burger or hanger steak for sure.
Excellent food and service. Dog friendly as well which is a HUGE plus! They had live music playing on a Friday night but I’m unsure if that’s done throughout the week. The herb roasted chicken was my choice for dinner and it was fantastic. Would recommend it! People around me ordered the pizza and they looked great as well. Thank you to Tyler for the excellent service as well :)
Considering we stayed at Hotel SLO, we had the opportunity to enjoy both breakfast and a casual dinner here (technically our dinner was on the rooftop bar, but the food comes from Piadina) First, breakfast: we chose quiche and french toast. Both were delicious. No negative feedback here. Maybe that my tater tots were almost certainly a basic, frozen tot? They were great though...it didn't bother me one bit. The french toast was incredible. I would definitely get that for myself as well next time. Dinner: along with our cocktails, we got a mushroom pizza, which was just fantastic (and oh my god, the smell!!!). They use hen of the woods mushrooms, and it's just my perfect mushroom pizza. Honestly, if I come back to SLO, the biggest reason is probably going to be that pizza. Cocktails, particularly the blueberry mojito, were very good as well. Although, I'd probably say the food was overall much stronger than the drinks, and the 5 stars is largely for that reason. Cocktails I'd give a respectable 4/5 👍 Bottom line: go here, eat food.
My wife and I both got salads, mixed greens and chicken and a kale Caesar with swordfish. They were both truly wonderful and such a healthy portion. Fresh greens and the added on protein was a good size and cooked perfectly. I also had the goat cheese croquettes with honey and lavender and they were amazing. Inside the Hotel SLO. Nice sized drink menu, clean and open with nice service. Highly recommend. Wife has gluten allergy and no issues with salad and chicken from grill. Picture was taken after eating some so it’s actually even bigger than that.
We sat for a relaxing brunch here before starting our day. Hakeem was our server and was very attentive. I quite enjoyed my deconstructed bagel and lox.
Brilliant! Lovely dining room, delicious, beautifully prepared food with high quality fresh ingredients. Huge portions, so it’s a great value for the price. We will go again!
French toast and chilled overnight oats were both excellent. Never thought I'd like cold oatmeal for breakfast but it was great. And the French toast was incredible. One giant crispy slab with a moist tasty center, accompanied by carmelized bananas, blueberries, strawberries, currents, blackberries, one single tasty almond, and whipped cream.

Best breakfast EVER! The avo toast and salmon bagel were out of this world and the colors were like a summer California sunset. Not only were the flavors insane, they were IG-worthy. The restaurant was full of light, comfortable seating and the fiber art gives the vibe of a cool art exhibit. Chef Matti knocked it outta the park and Hakeem was so sweet, attentive and honestly, allowed us in for breaky right under the wire. Thank you!

Excellent service, beautiful atmosphere and the best burger in Pismo. I substituted a side salad for the fries (which are de but I'm trying to watch it) and it was huge. Great meal at great prices.
My husband & I have frequented many times and it's been exceptional all around we usually sit @ the bar because that's what we prefer...this past visit we were very disappointed with the service at first we were the only 2 @ the bar. I joined my husband as I was coming from work he already ordered & had his drink...I waited 5+ minutes before I was acknowledged & asked what I wanted to drink. The bartender & his bar back seemed more occupied in conversation then taking care of us. This proceeded for the majority of time we were there. We ordered food as well...a server being observant of us not being served ended up taking care us more then the bartender. We weren't even in her section she took it upon herself which actually saved our experience. Their cuisine is exceptional however service at their bar...we won't be back anytime soon.
Best meal I’ve had in a while. Special night was perfectly catered. All the food was exceptional. Best food for the money in several years. Thanks guys.

Excellent mushroom pizza. Delicious one slice French toast. Beautiful outdoor seating with impressively tall doors. It would be nice to see more vegetarian options entrees

Food was served promptly ( almost too quickly! Ha). Food temps were good, amounts served were very generous, and presented well, and the atmosphere was great. We ate outside as the weather was still warm enough, but it looks like they have plenty of heaters if it became too chilly. Our server was nice/good, but absent for much of the second half of the meal. Definitely a place to try and you can dress up, or go somewhat casual, which is always a great option!
The food is amazing. The Kobe burger is probably the best we’ve had at a restaurant. The chocolate pot d’creme is delicious. The only issue was the service was severely lacking (slow, server forgot several things, very inattentive) for the prices. But even with that, we’d probably go back.

The food was low-quality. I got a chicken pizza, and the chicken was just pre-processed preserved chicken in cubes, not chicken cooked in the restaurant that day. The bacon was like bacon out of a box. Also I got a bunch of pimples the next morning, and I never get pimples. The atmosphere inside was quiet and pleasant enough, but just a straight-back booth, almost impossible to sit on. Outside the atmosphere is better. The waitress was friendly.
So disappointed! Encouraged coworkers to join me for cocktails after an evening meeting. We sat by the bar in the area adjacent to the lobby. Before we could order, the server made a point to ask us each to open a tab and provide our credit cards. We did so. We were met with disappointment due to a lot of offerings being out of stock. But we ordered cocktails and pizzas anyways. Upon closeout our server was nowhere to be found the server nearby tried to help but got our checks confused and charged each tab to my card. We asked multiple times if he was sure he had the correct cards associated to the correct checks and the poor guy got flustered. I spoke to manager onsite and explained that this among a few other things made the night super disappointing. I understood stock shortages but pointed out that the their communication among the staff was clearly lacking. He was empathic but offered no solution just listened. And the server processing the checks assured us he had them associated to the correct cards. The next day I noticed the charges to my account and called them, I spoke to a different manager who exclaimed "that's not good." but then told me she couldn't do anything and that a different manager would call me in a few hours. The did not call. I called back that night left a voicemail, I called the next day and left a voicemail and the next day. They never called me back. So disappointed this was one of my favorite downtown spots, but they clearly don't value my time or business.

We love this restaurant but our Thanksgiving meal was terrible. Turkey cut way too thick, turkey gravy was liquidy, stuffing was good, duck confit was a joke and served in the same chaffing dish as the turkey. Pizza was cold and like cardboard. You get one chance and this was terrible.
