Great spot for donuts and coffee. Kolache was delicious and was made with nice soft bread. Donuts had good filling to donut ratio and were nice and fluffy. Nashville hot chicken biscuit was good and fresh. Restrooms were spacious and clean. Good atmosphere to relax and enjoy some coffee. Small place but spacious.

It is the best place to buy a delicious donut in San Marcos! These donuts are visual delight and have nice fillings. They are fresh and have a good moisture level. The coffee here is great as well. And I really like the interior of this breakfast restaurant!

The food was excellent. Ordered the honey butter chicken biscuit, and Nashville hot biscuit. Everything was hot, fresh, homemade, and GD delicious. I'll be back every time I pass through

Looking for something quick for breakfast before heading home. Hoping they had something besides donuts and we weren't disappointed. We had their egg bowls. They had a couple of different kinds but we changed it up on our order and they didn't mind our own type of breakfast bowl. By the way their blueberry donuts are good too. Great employees and atmosphere. Would go back if in San Marcos.

The food here was incredible. I got a bacon/egg/potato/cheese wrap and a salted sweet cream cold brew. My friends and I split the honey butter chicken biscuit, and nutella donut. It was all super tasty and hit the spot for a quick brunch.

I love this place! I love the people here; they're always so friendly. This place has the best lemon filling I've ever had! The plants offer a relaxed atmosphere, and the variety of quality baked goods never leaves me bored. My partner and I used to come here every other weekend when she lived in San Mar, grabbing some coffee and croissants and sitting down together in the morning before starting our day. If you come here, try the spinach wrap, avocado egg and cheese croissant, strawberry shortcake, or lemon filled donut. Shoutout to the people behind the counter!

My husband, our son, three of our grandchildren and I popped into Babe's for breakfast, today. The restaurant smelled amazing. The honey lavender latte, brown sugar latte, sausage+egg+cheese croissant, and fresh donuts were delicious. I loved my chocolate glazed donut! The small restaurant was very busy, and it's restrooms were clean and well-stocked.

Barbershop kings Korner Adon referred me here after my boys haircuts. Must say we will make it a tradition to stop here after haircuts in the mornings!!! Fresh and delicious the best coffee and doughnuts hands down! Workers are super friendly and have great recommendations

My fiance and I have been coming here for about 3 years consecutively, sometimes multiple times a week. The food is consistently good and the coffees are great, we very much enjoy Babes and everything they offer. The owners and staff are also very friendly, no matter how busy!

Ordered the oat milk cookie butter iced coffee and it was delicious! Didn’t wait that long for my drink and it was full. Will come back again when I am in town.

They also have great matcha which pairs well with their house vanilla bean syrup. Everything is reasonably priced and delicious.

We got donuts (fluffy and the jokes were great!) and the Hot Chicken Biscuit (I added honey) and it was delicious! Just the right amount of hot and chicken was cooked so crispy! We didn’t have to wait long at all even with a crowd.

It started as a casual meetup, but now it’s a full-blown tradition, and honestly, we couldn’t have picked a better spot. I’ve eaten my way through pretty much the whole menu except the coffee (not a coffee guy). But my caffeine-addicted clanmates swear by it, so I’ll take their word for it. My go-to is the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant, buttery, flaky, and built like a hero. And the donut holes? Best in San Mo, no question. First time I tried them, I knew instantly: this was endgame. Four years later, we're still coming back and still undefeated in donut loyalty. If you’re looking for the perfect combo of chill vibes, great food, and the ideal war council atmosphere, Babe’s is it.

Best doughnut place EVER!! Their chocolate frosted ones are unlike any other! It tastes like fresh chocolate and its not gritty like most.

I always take people who are visiting town to Babe’s for breakfast! The food and coffee are excellent. I get cravings for the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant. And the lattes are delicious. This is a great downtown find! The atmosphere is charming and casual. They have WiFi and couches to enjoy your order. Seating is limited so be prepared to grab and go if needed. But this shop will not disappoint!

One of my new favorite local coffee shops! I tried their vanilla cold brew and it did not disappoint. Their prices are very reasonable and not overly priced. Their donuts and kolaches are pretty good as well! I definitely recommend this cute little coffee shop! 2025 Update: their prices have sky rocketed (thanks to inflation) $4.50 to now $6.25 for a Nashville hot. They also no longer have the Iced Vietnamese anymore and when I asked one of the girls was pretty rude about it (not the cashier) and said that would be custom and something I would have to come up with. I miss the old babes and old customer service.

The other pictured biscuit is what they call an S.E.C., a combination of whole hog sausage, fried egg and cheese on one of those fluffy biscuits, mmmm, good. The donuts looked excellent, but this was a morning for protein and carbs. This place is popular so there may be a wait.
