REALLY GOOD!! Great food, good prices, and great service. They gave us a sample of the chicken that had just been made, were helpful, patient and very quick to make the food. PLUS the falafel salad, pita bread, and the lamb pita sandwich were delicious. The Lamb sanwich was also spilling with lamb. 10/10 would come back to try the rest of the menu items.

Wow, what an exceptional place to get some very yummy food. Red was very polite and professional and gave me some suggestions on what I might want to go with the meal choices that I have chosen. The restaurant was very clean and neat. And The staff was very pleasant. I really haven't had a whole lot of experience with Mediterranean food. However, my son and his wife have had. And they confirm that the food that we had was absolutely exceptional. A very good value for what we paid. If you get a chance to go, I would definitely suggest that you go and take your family as well.

Best Mediterranean food in Escondido hands down. You will pay around $15 for a meal and it is worth every penny. Simple ingredients executed perfectly. This place has ruined every other Mediterranean spot for me. You can't go wrong with the tri-tip plate.

1st time and I ordered the Mediterranean salad with tri tip. For $10 you get a Delicious salad that can feed two people very well. Quiet atmosphere, the two employees there are very helpful very nice and can answer any questions that you have about their menu. I highly recommend this place and I definitely will be coming back for more. By the way the salad was AWESOME!!

Good food and Good customer service, the youngster attended me very good, knowledgeable and outgoing. I got a bowl of lamb and pickles with spicy sauce! I’ve been going here for well over 10 years. The food has been consistent and always delicious. I don’t live in SD anymore, but whenever I come down to visit family my wife and I always make it a point to stop here. Everything is delicious, but we always get the chicken shawarma plate or the lamb plate. Come try this! I promise it’s worth it. To top it off, it’s family owned and not a chain!

Called and spoke with Red (owner) the day before I needed to feed 25 people for a work event. Explained my thought process for 5 family meals and he provided his input and expertise. Turn out was fantastic and food was nicely presented in large trays (more than enough). The meal was well received and most went back for second serving. Would definitely call Pita’s again for a catering event. Tasty food, and service with a smile!

This is a good place to grab a bite. I ordered a half order of hummus that came with two breads and a side of trip tip cooked medium. The service was great for the occasion. Try it out!

I ordered 2 lamb plates and they weren't busy so I think it would be hard to mess it up but I suppose it's possible. I saw another comment saying they got lamb in a cut up carne asada style... that's what I got for lamb too. So idk. This was my first time here. Maybe I'll try it again, but I'm not really sure. I feel like it's horribly shady of the owner to take more off the top when the plate was $17.59, which was already a lot. It didn't taste like it was worth almost $18 for what you get. It's sad bc I love Mediterranean food and I want more options, but I don't think this is it.

The Chicken Shawarma Bowl was very fresh and plentiful. Chicken wasn't very remarkable except it didn't taste like shawarma. Rather, it tasted like plain, moist, grilled, clean chicken. The items that can be put on the bowl were fairly extensive at no extra cost. I wished that when selecting sauces, I could ask for multiples while staying within the specified limit. Instead, you must pay for an additional sauce of the same kind as specified when building the bowl. I also wished I'd been notified when my order was ready instead of relying on the estimated completion time the gave when I placed the order. Price was fair given the generous portion of the bowl.

The $3 side of baklava was about 2”x2” and the plastic wrap on it was open and it tasted like cleaning spray! 3 meals and a side of baklava for $71! The chicken kabob was dry and tough. The chicken swarma was good but I got in on top of a Mediterranean salad that was not like described. It was mostly lettuce and had very minimal toppings. Not ordering again sad to say.

Not woth it for me. Chicken was dry, one pit a bread for each plate, kids meal didnt have salad or pita like pictured the rice was good but yup, this was a one time only purchase.
