As I really have no words to describe how good the food is, I'll just say that you have to taste it yourself. The staff is really friendly. I really think this place doesn't have the hype it should have, I eat in a lot of places due to work-life balance and this is definitely that place I don't mind driving 30 minutes to when in days off. This location is always extremely fast with an incredibly friendly staff! I like that you can sit and order, which is great if you need time to look over the extravagant amount of choices like me, as well as just go through The drive thru. The food is always piping hot and the shakes are delicious and thick!

I give 5 stars mostly for the quick service on our last visit. Sometimes it's pretty slow even when not busy and the staff can be a little lackadaisical... For fast food it's good and has been a place I grew up with. As with anything it can always get better but with that said we will still be back

You can do the drive through or pull up to a ordering space. The food is delicious. One of the best fast food chains, but albeit on the pricier side for fast food, but you get quality. Their burgers are loaded with quality meat, fresh vegetables, and tasty ingredients. Their tater tots are crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. Their shakes and Sonic Blasts are delicious. This is my new favorite fast food.

This is a great Sonic. I’ve been to them in a few different places and this one is solid. Actual skating car hops with great attitudes. While it’s probably the worst thing for you, the footlong Chili-Cheese coney is delicious. I know the kids love the burgers here. Bon-Appetite.

We always order through the app. I am a fan of the chili cheese dog regular or foot long both great. We give an estimate arrival time, pull in to parking stall, and give the parking spot number in the app. Be sure to give your order a quick look through when you get it, when ever we don't something was missing or wrong. The person who delivers our food has always been lovely and patient and is happy to fix anything that may be wrong. Funny thing is that it's quite had to order just a hotdog and bun with nothing else on it.

This particular time was great. My favorite Master Shake Peanut Butter Fudge was great. Cold smooth creamy texture/mouth-feel. Delicious Flavor. Fantastic. I had a really nice car hop but I forgot her name. Unfortunately I didn't have the money to tip her. She deserved a good tip. Sometimes my shakes varied in flavor and/or consistency. This time was great!

The ice cream is good, the food is not. I have tried a few times to like it but usually tastes like a fryer. Everything the mozzarella sticks, onion rings, chicken strips tastes the same and like old oil. Great peanut butter Oreo shakes though!

Perfect for the summer, well any time of the year really but because of their delicious cold drinks is why it's perfect for summer. Love getting their slushies. Depending on the day, or time of day, they are sometimes pretty quick but when they are busy it does take a while. But totally worth the wait.

They have definitely stepped up their game. I like the new flavors the food has the ice cream actually melts now. It was disturbing before when it could be 115 and after 3 hours it still didnt melt a drop. Adding the app and changing how the roll up is now is a nice touch. Good stop for a quick bite

The slushes are good on a hot day, try their limeades for a sparkling refreshment too. If you are craving ice cream their sundae is delicious, filling, and under $3. Order through their app for even faster service. Also check out the happy hour for half of drinks, that's when you get a good deal.

The food this time was not salty at all. This allowed the flavor to come out. It was a good burger and I will come again. Last time we went to the sonic in vista. Let me state the ocean was less salty than the food. A pinch of salt ok but a cup of salt, not so yummy. You tasted the meat and tomatoes onions, catchup pickles. Again good burger and fries and tater tots great. Wii go to this one again.

Good service just watch your receipt. I ordered my items al cart but it was changed to a combo that cost me more. The stuff here is 99% fantastic and work hard. Very much worth stopping by for a meal and relaxing as you eat in your car.

Ordered through the drive-thru which is a bit funny because it's a sonic but I placed my order pretty easily but the wait time was a bit more than usual considering I didn't see that many people parked around. Enough negative though, got my order entirely correct. The burgers weren't greasy and bun wasn't soggy and it tasted pretty good. The fries were probably the best part, they're not stingy with the salt or the ranch. Overall it was a pretty good meal but the wait was a bit much

Nice location, service was very good, clean and professional. Onion rings were good and burgers better than Burger King and most of what McDonald's offer. Hotdogs were a bit too spicy and or condiment rich with sausage being small. In the days of costco offering a better hotdog for less than $2 we were expecting more. Rarely go to Sonics since it's far from me. Tho my sister and I stopped for a quick bite. Bcuz we don't go to Sonics, we were confused on the payment process at the drive thru (not the order stall). I thought itd be funny to joke that we're European and never been to Sonics, and dont know how their system works. The person who took our order (Sebastian) was kind enough to literally explain how fast food drive thru works. Me and my sister found it awesome he took a moment to tell us even if it seemed silly. So shout out to Sebastian for explaining the Sonic drive thru to us

Only did the drive thru, not the park and eat. The food is good and the customer service was very nice. There was a long wait for someone to come on the menu board to take my order, then it took a long time to get my food. There is no window to pay and receive your food, you just wait outside a door and they bring you your food and take your payment. It seems inefficient, but the staff was very friendly and the food was as I expected it to be.

If you come here at night expect a long wait. For three items, a sonic blast Oreo shake, a regular chocolate shake, and double cheeseburger it took over 20+ minutes in line. Keep in mind a small blast or shake costs 4.59 to large $6+. My burger was also cold. The price wasn’t worth the wait. Servers a polite and well mannered but the kitchen needs work to get food and drinks out in a decent amount of time.

Very good when they get it right. Recently my wife was craving the smores shake, we drove across town to pick it up. Oops, no Hershey's chocolate pieces this time, and they didn't bother to tell us they were out of a crucial ingredient. That foul aside, they have been good more often than not, but considering the price... they better be damned near perfect.

Great customer service, but the food was meh.... We tried their cheesy tots, a cheeseburger and a hot dog. There just wasn't anything great about it.... I feel like you could easily duplicate anything they make at home. I do like the roller skates and the drive in feel. That part is unique and a little fun. If you check out sonic, I would say stick to the shakes and desserts. That's where they shine.

Overpriced and very small serving sizes for mid-range fast food. Granted, I will concede they have a little more diversity, slightly better than other standard fast food drive thru, but not THAT much better to justify those kind of price hikes!

The food, while average, has certain exceptions and highlights, but the wait can be terribly long. The ability to pull into a parking spot, order, and having someone come out with your food is very convenient but also increases the likelihood of mistakes (which have been common at this location). The Sonic blast and the lemonade are dope!

Sonic is always fun in the car hop thing is really cool. The food was delicious as well. I love they're really cool drinks. It did seem to take a good amount of time for the food to come out though. Shout out to Nate seems like he helps us out everytime. He's a cool cat. They went from a 4-star to a 3-star today. We had to wait 25 minutes for our food. Had to press the button to ask where it is and they said they had a backup in the kitchen. But we've seen cars coming in and out of the drive-thru. So idk. All about ciabatta was super soft. The girls described it as soggy. Also there were toaster oven burnt Krispies stuck to the top and bottom And we got no straws. Unfortunately we did not have a super sonic morning We have returned. They maintained their three stars. This time we decided to try the drive thru. It was still a long way and then when we got to. Our order was wrong. Darn it. We'll keep coming back cuz this Sonic is right around the corner but definitely holding three stars strong

Shakes were decent, with some uncommon flavors. Burger had an artificial weird taste to it; possibly the worst burger I've ever had. I reached out my car window to use the drive-up credit card swiper. It didn't give clear feedback about whether payment had processed, so I had to walk over to the building, which has no regular customer entrance. Luckily, a worker came out and made sure I got my receipt and food, so I appreciate that effort.

They took a long time with our order (30 minutes for 4 meals). Food was good, but then I go to the front to ask for a spoon and a lady ignored me three times and after yelled at me for not staying in my car. Service was very subpar to what I normally get from other Sonics.

Used to be a great place to go for shakes and such 5+ years ago. Now, not so much. We literally had the car hopper say if they were me, they'd go to in-n-out for a shake when I was kinda surprised by the poor mix/quality compared to what I remembered. I mean, I'm not going to go to in-n-out for a shake, but definitely not coming back to Sonic sadly.

Pretty sure there was only one maybe two people working the other day. We were told it would be a 25 minute wait before we ordered. We ended up leaving. The employee was very nice about it and apologetic but sonic definitely isn't worth waiting that long.

The food is always cold. The drinks are wrong over 60% of the time. It is frustrating, because their slashes are amazing. But they make them wrong and leave out extra ingredients I order. The only reason they get a 2 stars is for the service. The service is astonishingly bad at times. I've gone during the day and everything was good. I've been at night and it's never been smooth. Always a problem at night.

Order ahead is useless. You can arrive on time, they'll tell you it's on it's way 3 min later, then give you the food 10 min later after that. I'm guessing they just push the "ready" button to stop the clock on how long it took them to make the order. But then there's no button to stop the drive-through clock so they'll clear out the drive through first if they can then send someone out with your order. After the screen said my order was on it's way, 6 drive through cars were taken care of first before someone came out with my order.

I usually love Sonic but this was my first visit to this location and I was very disappointed. I was the only car in the drive thru and it took 3+ to even be greater. Once the young man came on he spoke so softly that I had to ask him to repeat himself twice. Once my order was placed there was 1 car ahead of me. Their order took at least 5 minutes of me waiting. Once they left I pulled up and I never saw an employee for 5 min. I could understand if they were busy but they weren't. The employee greeted me, took my $ and went back inside. He returned with my food & drink then asked if I needed anything else. I didn't have a straw & asked for some ketchup...back inside he went. And each time he went inside he had to electronically open the door. He came back with my straw, no ketchup, but I was done with this horrible experience. I ordered the BLT combo w/tots. The menu board picture shows this sandwich on toasted bread...mine was on a bun with NO tomato. Unfortunately, this experience was awful. I truly do like Sonic but I won't be coming to this location again.

Saw their double cheeseburger on special for $1.99. Ordered 1 just to check it out. Worst cheeseburger I have ever had. Had to change my review just ordered over 60$ in food asked for 5 sauce for 24 sticks of motzaral and they charged me 1.25 yea i think im gonna pass on this place for a bit. The food already cost crazy amounts of money now they are charging for sauses I guess Fernado has been told to charge extra the manger a moron for doing this. This place will be out of business soon so probably doesn't matter.

an employee launched a drink into the air that landed on my vehicle. The employee then proceeded to laugh and joke with his friend, who was parked in the stall. Once he realized that I didn't look too happy, proceeded to walk into the store at which point, he answered, the phone said he was the responsible party for throwing the drink in the air and the manager on call, so there was no manager for me to talk to at the time. I asked to be provided with the store owners information again which he refused and said that I could only talk to him, the fact that anyone feels the need to put this person in charge of the store and that said person also believes launching a drink in a parking lot with cars driving in and out as well as pedestrians foot traffic is absolutely ridiculous. Hopefully the owner of the store will become more involved with his employees and the realization that his store is not being run up to any standards that should be acceptable by any clientele

This location has horrible customer service. They don't take your order when you pull up to the car port stands to order. When you order through the drive thru they don't take your order correctly, and charge you in separate transactions. My burger meat was cold and looked old not fresh at all, it looked reheated, the tater totes were cold too. After this horrible service I won't ever be going back. Sonic Headquarters, you should be doing something about this because this is horrible way this location is representing your name.

Went to the drive through after a long day of shopping in that strip mall. The intercom experience was a little strange. I was greated with great customer service til the woman on the other end started interrupting me, and was not comprehending my order, I'm thinking that maybe she just cant hear me. We pull forward fo the front and waited for a gentlemen to grab the form of Payment as there was not a drive through "window" We waited close to 15mins for the gentlemen to grab the payment and mentioned itll be a small wait since its "half done". He was kind enough to bring our family their drinks and we waited another 25mins to actually get our food. We waited patiently during all of that to come home to our orders not being right, although The receipt mentions that they really did get the order correct, but didnt give us the proper order somehow. The fries were BROWN and HARD, so OLD grease is being used. The bread is very stale and nothing was warm. We wasted 50$ worth of food, we just tossed it all. We wont be going to this location again.

The drive-through seem to be closed due to cones being placed at its entrance, so I went and parked at a menu board placed an order for a medium grape slush. 15 minutes later I got out of my vehicle and open the door to the food prep area and told the first person I seen that 15 minutes for a drink exceeded a reasonable time limit. He told me that there were only himself and one other employee working at 1:45 p.m. on a Monday afternoon. Whether employees didn't show up for work or management did not properly staff the store, I won't be back. I don't even like their food anyway just the slushes.

The chicken in my chicken wrap was raw in the middle. They were out of corn dogs?!?Didn’t even make the slushy right. Bad location.

They shouldn’t even get 1 star. Went to get a milk shake and mozzarella sticks. Waited 30 mins in the drive thru. 3 cars behind me and 2 of them get there food first. Didn’t get an apology for the wait. I ordered a Oreo chocolate shake. I get a plain shake. The mozzarella sticks had no cheese in them and didn’t even get marinara sauce. Will never go here ever again. Worst customer service ever had a fast food place. Don’t go here I know I won’t ever again.

They take so long to get in orders. I never actually liked this store. For those reading this, don't jist take my word for it, there food is great. And I'm just a student, so I'm giving my opinion. My family went, ordered, then waited for more than an hour. And it has never changed. I highly doubt that ill ever go again alone.

Came with my sister for a late night snack, the guy taking our order was VERY rude. He kept saying “anything else” after every item. (Only ordered 4 items) and had attitude. Not sure if it was because we came an hour before closing but he sounded annoyed to work. Wouldn’t want to come back because of the service.

Slow at night... In the parking stalls...plus never give you napkins with Hot Fudge Sundaes...update 06/2025 now they've raised the price for a Sundae which is now a dollar higher now and their service still sucks! They had 3 or 4 guys in there! I first went over to the parking stalls sat there for 5 minutes, nobody answered, there was six cars in the drive and I think there was four employees. I just only went there for a hot fudge sundae it took them 8 minutes to deliver that to me in the Drive-Thru! ( I still would of been waiting for them to answer in the drive-in stall ) Meanwhile they're in the kitchen goofing off! High fiving each other, I swear if I was their manager I'd say, " if I'm paying you $25 an hour I expect productivity!" This place someday is going to go out of business and nobody's going to miss it. And on top of that still no napkins you still have to ask for napkins what's up with that Sonic??? Oh and by the way by the time I got my hot fudge Sunday it was more like a hot fudge shake and I was being nice and courteous to the employee. I couldn't tell if he was high or if was Jeff spicoli's nephew. lol

Beware using their app to order. We ordered ahead to take advantage of their 1/2 price drinks. We decided to order some food as well, including a large order of onion rings. They delivered our food, and we started to drive away. Then we noticed that the onion rings were missing. Turns out that they "didn't have onion rings available." No big deal, they can just refund us, right? Well after 10 minutes, they came out and told us that they had "fixed the receipt." Not sure what that means, but no refund appeared on the gift card I used. So, they "forgot" to mention that something I ordered wasn't available and then refused to give me my money back. I contacted Sonic customer service, and they offered me a free drink for the inconvenience. Really, a drink? How about the refund I am owed? Seriously, I've now spent over a half hour of my time trying to recover $5! Absolutely horrible customer service. I won't be returning, and neither should you.

My order was taken and delivered in a timely manner. That is the only good thing I can say. When I asked for ketchup the girl disappeared and never came back. The food was cold and tasted like plastic. I generally like Sonic and I have been to the one off of Basoline many times without incident. This is definitely the worst Sonic location ever.

first and last time ...i set in the parking lot for about 10mins plus after pushing the button. and nobody come out or didn't see a sole and decided to leave got tired of waiting. decided yo L&L Hawaiian food around the corner for great food. i will never return to set in the parking lot of a restaurant. dont understand why they did have inside dinning.. joke

I genuinely just don’t understand why this place can’t get it together. 30 minute wait for a sundae, 2 drinks, and soft pretzel sticks. We are one of 2 cars here. It is 7:30pm on a Thursday night (no rush). It’s disappointing because my kids love this place but I KNOW, deep in my soul, that it will NEVER be a quick experience.

I always have a soft spot for Sonic because I like the fun concept of the old fashioned idea of a drive in hot dog and shake place. But if only the employees feel the same way, it would have been really great. Most times I go there, they either get my order wrong or I have to repeat myself 2 , 3 times over because the order taker somehow just don't get it. The worst thing is that, the people , or at least the order taker at the speaker and the person delivering the food to our car, don't seem like they want to be there. No smiles, no greetings, look annoyed, sound like you are bothering them. Just the worst service. This could be a leadership failure at the corporate level. Nice restaurant concept but what a shame.

So I got here at 3:45 on a Sunday. Sitting for 40 minutes for 1 medium sonic blast for $9. It’s a ripoff and takes forever the people in the cars next to me have come and gone. Worst service ever. Never coming back here and will be telling anyone that wants to go to avoid it. It sucks this place has gone downhill so bad. Used to be 10-15 min max. I went to the door mentioned it has been 40 minutes and if I can get a refund and receipt. I couldn’t wait longer. She went in, got the receipt and handed it back to me. No apologies for the delay, no explination, no manners. Iif I was in the situation I would have apologized for the inconvenience and handed a coupon or something to come back and give them another chance to redeem themselves. I think Sonic should be responsible for possible understaffing and lack of training.

Came here once when I first moved to town and it was so ungodly slow I swore I’d never come back. Wife is pregnant and was craving a shake so came again. One car in front of me in drive thru that ordered two limeades. I ordered a shake and a Coke. I have been here for over 25 minutes and am still waiting. My six year old son could prep what I or the person in front of me ordered quicker.

Went here around 6pm Wed 12/6. After placing our order, was told by guy, who sounded like a Beavis and Butthead wannabe(dude sounded stoned, high, altered), thru drive up speaker that it would take 30-40 minutes to get our order (1 hotdog, 1 kids meal, drinks) and asked if that was ok. Told him no it wasn't ok, and I asked why it would take so long. He said they just had 2 big 50$ orders and they had to do that 1st so it would delay our food. I told him not acceptable and that he should tell people of these issues BEFORE we all take the time to place an order. Oh and yeah the shake machine supposedly wasn't working so we couldn't get the shake either. We didn't stay, but I can say that I only go here when my kid requests it. I don't know how they stay open, frankly the foods not good, the service is iffy so it must just be the shakes.

I just went there and waited for a long time, I got out the car to ask, I think she was the manager this girl, she was so rude, when back to the car , when back and she was rude again,, she put her hand in the air and told me to go back to the car, she wouldn't let me speak, very rude, I did told her that she was being rude. She should apologize for the waiting, but no she was rude about it, never going back there. I think she was the manager, she needs to learn some manners and not be rude to the customers. .

do your self a favor and NEVER GO HERE!!! i ordered 2 combos from uber eats, not only did i not even get the right food at all more than HALF my order was missing. i ate 2 onion rings and had an alergic reaction. ive eaten at sonics before Never have i had a reaction. food tasted like it was cross contaminated with something sweet. i called to see what happened and i was hung up on as i was explaining what happened. food TRASH servise HORRIBLE. do your self a favor and NEVER GO HERE

I was starting to like this place, but one thing over another just messed up my whole experience. They took 40 minutes to serve me my food while I was on my 45 min lunch. Other customers who ordered after me got served 1st. The hot dog had a pale green color like it been sitting there for hours, and there was a pebble in my food that I bit on while trying to enjoy the food. Least they could have done is given me a fresh dog and an extra one for the inconvenience. Not coming back again. They should focus on serving people one by one, not trying to get all orders at once just to get all of them wrong.

I wish I could give 0 stars for service. 53 minutes to get food and had to walk up and inquire about it. The kid working in the back became combative. I'd never go to this place again. Prices keep increasing yet the service decreases to none. After all that time the fries were soggy.

Second time coming here and whoever takes my order gives me a hard time about what I want. ‘I don’t have a button for that’ turns a $4 drink into close to $9? What?! Can’t put soft serve into an iced coffee drink? Is it really that hard or impossible? And what ever happened to cream slush drinks? Just trying to order a somewhat custom drink like you could back in the day when I worked at Sonic. Whoever is running this place now seems to suck.

Arrived at the kiosk (dine in car) pressed red button for service person replied be right with you then watch 4 cars pull up to drive thru order get their meal and leave during this time I pressed button 2 more times with 0 response myself and the guy next to me left due to lack of service

Explain to me why one cannot make two separate orders for one vehicle. One person wanted a drink and the other wanted a snack but we were refused service because apparently Sonic cannot ring up two separate orders for one vehicle.

Came to get a shake at 9:55 pm and it took 25 mins for me to receive it through the drive thru. There was only one car ahead of me that order two drinks. It should not take almost 30 mins to receive one shake . And they brought me the wrong order when they finally approached me. The car behind me got there 2 drinks and hot dog before me.

First time giving Sonic a try and I have been waiting in the line for over 10 minutes and no one has helped us. I left, horrible service As we were leaving i notice that this worker wasn't even doing her job, she was bringing food out to a homeless person - I am all for helping out the needy but do your job on top of helping others.

we pulled into a spot at 8:45pm on wednesday night. there are maybe 4-5 other cars here TOTAL including the drive thru…10 minutes AFTER pressing the button, no one has taken our order or said anything at all. so we pull into the drive thru, they take our order a few moments later but they tell us their “shake machine isn’t working” !! what is this? mcdonald’s?? honestly just an overall ridiculous experience, won’t be coming back to this location

I recently visited Sonic and had a very disappointing experience. I waited for about 10 minutes in the self-order spot without any response, even after pressing the button several times. After that, I decided to go through the drive-thru, where I waited another 10 minutes, and despite there being no line, the people behind us were served first. When we finally received our milkshakes, they were warm, which was incredibly surprising. I honestly can't understand how that happens. Thankfully, the person who assisted with the refund was friendly and helpful, making the process easy. I ended up going to Dairy Queen instead, which was a much better choice. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this Sonic location based on my experience. Maybe they were having a bad day, this was my first bad experience there unfortunately.

Got my kids out of school and plan was to go to Costco business center next door so we decided to go against our healthy choices and eat at Sonics. Placed our order and waited about 10 minutes and no problem. Once the order came right off the bat the fries looked very old and dry, when I took a few and ate them they were perhaps sitting under the neon lights for a long long time. Next I opened our cheese burgers, Sonics#1 from the menu board, which includes onion, lettuce, tomato, pickles etc. however, no tomato, and no lettuce, look at the pictures. The burger looked really sad and depressing. Called in and Melissa came in. She was very nice and apologetic, and rushed to make it right. Waited another 5 minutes and she came back and gave us our burgers with the missing vegetables, however, they were the same burgers and no signs of tomatoes, or lettuce. Called and the manager came in and got my money back and went on our day. Won’t ever try and make this mistake again. Sonics you lost a new customer for good.

Went to to pep boys for an oil change on my car.so I decided to walk to Sonics for breakfast. But they came out and said that their fryers are not ready so they wouldn't be able to service right away so we waited and 9:30 came around but got tired of waiting so I left.
