Mr Pickle's Sandwiches

These guys are the real deal. By far the most delicious sandwich I have ever experienced. Perfection on the toasting, perfection on the prepping, and perfection on customer service. They are truly good people who are there to make you a delicious sandwich. Keep it up!

Great place. I went there a couple weeks ago to find out for myself if it was everything I had heard. There was a young man that worked there he was so nice I believe his name was Jacob. He seem to put his all into what he was doing and did it all with a smile. Food was great. I will be back for sure and tell my friend about Mr. Pickle's too.

We ordered catering from Mr.Pickles San Rafael for a work event. Through several changes to the order, including change of date and number of attendees, Mr.Pickles worked with us to make it easy for us. The food was delivered on time and enjoyed by all the folks that participated. Thank you, Mr. Pickles you guys were great!

The website stated the earliest pick up time was 11:30AM on a Saturday morning, but the team's flexibility allowed us to pick up our order 1-hour ahead. Our healthcare volunteer workers were extremely satisfied with their lunch. Thanks so much Mary & team!

Delicious, nutritious, and customizable. Mr. Pickles has to be my favorite sandwich shop in the area. I typically order the Mrs. Pickle on Dutch crunch. I tell ya, that Sammy has found it’s way into my heart. Can’t go wrong with anything here! P.s. Sometimes there are DoorDash deals if you haven’t ordered from them before! #worthit

I really like Mr. Pickles. The prices have gotten a little high and this time they were out of cream cheese which is why I gave them a 4 and not a 5.

As the name suggests, the pickles are super tasty. Sandwiches are good but disappointing for the price... Would pick an Ike's sandwich any day!

Long time MP's fan here. I've eaten dozens of their sandwiches over the years as it used to be my go-to when one was close to my work. They're quite tasty and far superior to any chain store like subway or quiznos. Sadly, the price increases over the years have made the pickle brand hard to recommend. $22 for a sandwich chips and a soda is just a really, really tough sell considering it's more expensive than some of the sit down restaurants in the area. It would almost be okay if they just went for the upscale market but the stores do not impart any kind of quality or care for the customer. Uncomfortable chairs, rickety tables, no ambiance. They're truly relying on nostalgia and a decent sandwich to carry their customer base these days, and there's simply too much competition in that market to give anything but a tenuously "decent" rating here.

That being said, I ordered a sandwich last month from Mr. Pickles, and the roll was stale. I mentioned this today, and asked for confirmation that the bread was fresh. No one offered a response to my complaint of the first sandwich, but assured me the bread was fresh today. Ugh. Another stale sandwich. What's up Mr. Pickles?

100% the most overpriced sandwich of all time!!!! $20 for a tri tip Sammy the size of my phone. $17 for a hero??? Are you kidding me? It's no bad, but not 20 bucks. Try the locals, so much better and half the price. I normally would not do this, and I am not name dropping, ....but the prices are so expensive for what you get it's ridiculous.... I think someone named Michael has a place or 2, and that market in Marinwood - both have FULLY LOADED for $10 or less.

I ordered through Uber eats. I was in contact with my driver for the last half hour. They were over an hour late, taking care of walk ins way after my latest delivery window had passed. They were rude to my driver, and once they got to my order, they got it wrong. This store is a joke. I'm filing a complaint with headquarters next. Don't support such poor behavior from their employees. Don't eat there. After reading Mr pickles reply, I will add that they are lying. 2 drivers were involved. The first one gave up after waiting on them for so long. The Uber app, and yes I was checking and actually chatting with the second driver, kept on showing that Mr Pickles was wrapping up. Stop lying to cover your own assets. It is unbecoming. My review stands.

They start making it at 150pm, during this time other people who ordered online are picking up and nothing is ready. The people eating in there are upset because their orders are wrong. I mean it's like watching that train wreck you can't look away from. They had to go in back and slice meat, they definitely were not prepared for the day. Finally at 230 they hand me my food. I could've gone to subway and had better service. Very disappointed Mr. Pickles. Got home and all the sandwiches are WRONG. They are pretty nasty. And this isn't the first time. Disappointed again.

While waiting for their turn, 3 adult men came in and tried to take their places ahead of my friends, however the server asked my friend for his order first, he asked for the soup and was told that they didn’t serve soup. That caused the 3 men to burst out laughing at my friend for daring to ask for such an item. Very embarrassed, my friend went outside to wait for the others. I approached those men and showed them the menu with the picture of a bowl of soup in it and reminded them that they were making fun of someone with a disability. Now, while it is not the business owner and employees fault for those men behavior, it is their fault for advertising something they re not providing. The soup had been advertised on their display menu, on their take out menu and on the live screen on the wall. As far as I know all this situation could have been averted if there was no false advertisement from the place. Too bad, we won’t be coming back.

Let me start by saying I love Mr Pickles...in Petaluma. We no longer live in the area, but we purposely made the stop in SR on our road trip just for the sandwiches. We ordered online and it said it would take about 40mins. We arrived after 30mins and they had 5 people in line and had not started our order yet. There are 2 workers, so not really understaffed. They finished all the orders for the people in line and then started ours. It would have taken just as long if we would have ordered when we walked in the door. We actually still haven’t gotten our order and we have been here for 25mins. Someone just walked in and they are starting his order instead of both working on ours.

HORRIBLE, unless you have 30 mins to JUST WAIT on your food to be ready then this is the place. Management needs to properly staff this location. Online orders ARE NEVER on time unless you come an hour after your estimated time 😒 employees NEVER acknowledge you, just horrible.
