This tiny bar is the best vermut (vermouth) bar we've ever visited. And we couldn't believe it when friends told us that the house made/aged vermut was the best, because they have so many other amazing vermuts, but sure enough, it is! Plus, the owner is super nice and they have some great pintxos (the smoked salmon was particularly good), including an excellent Gilda.

We loved this bar so came several times during our trip to Donostia. Excellent menu of Vermouths to try which they prepare very well and nice draft beer - all at very low prices. Simple and small but well done selection of pintxos. Very much a local place but we were treated warmly. People mostly just sit/stand outside and there is a good atmosphere.

For those wondering what happened to Bar Roberto, I can confirm that this is still the same wonderful bar. It's name is now Roberto Berri but rest assured it's still the same bar serving the best Marianito "Vermouth" in Donostia. It's in a lovely square with lots of locals and great bars. Special mention to Juan behind the bar a true star. This is the ideal bar to start your pintxos crawl, a must visit.

A friendly little place to try some different vermouths or a local cider. Pinchos are banging. Nice atmosphere.

Los mejores Vermut del barrio sin duda! Con una amplia variedad, los sirven de forma muy vistosa (cáscaras de naranjas y sus olivas). Disponen de buenos pintxos y un gran acierto los minis de gin tonic

This is an institution when it comes to Vermouth! The people running the show are friendly and welcoming and happy to explain you the whole Vermouth thing. The selection of drinks is large and the gildas and small pintxos to go with are just a perfect pairing.

Great place where locals go for pinxtos. Friendly staff very helpful in explaining each one. You can order cold which are in display or warm where they are made to order. Protip. Order one of each to try a variety. The best ones you can order again. If you don't know what is in it ask they are happy to tell you.

El personal es muy poco agradable. Será que me toman por turista pero siempre que voy no son muy amables. Los calamares fritos están ricos.
