Bruxie Santa Barbara Reviews
Excellent experience, definitely one of the best of this trip to the French-Spanish border. The main courses, both fish and meat, were truly exquisite. The service was professional, competent, and extremely friendly. The decor is a bit bland, but the food makes all the difference. Had we been closer, we would have definitely returned. The only small flaw was the desserts, which weren't quite up to par with the rest of the meal. The liqueur (Ratafia), produced in Spain and slightly different from the Italian version, was very popular. The price was fair. N.B. - We returned after three years. The atmosphere remained the same, while the menu has changed. We can confirm the good experience, adding that we ate the best cod ever. Truly phenomenal.
What a surprising restaurant! Across from the hotel. Very friendly staff. The restaurant opened at 9 pm on Friday evening. We had delicious main courses with fresh rolls to start. A great bottle of red wine for €8.50. The food was reasonably priced anyway. We had a fantastic end to a wonderful day after visiting Montserrat. We'll definitely be back to this gem. (The photos were unfortunately taken after the start... It was so tempting and delicious.)
Good place to go, exceptional and professional human treatment. Very good dishes. With an optimal quality-price ratio. Varied menu, Catalan cuisine and complete dishes. In addition, a daily menu, Saturday lunch included, very competitive and an all-inclusive weekend menu of twenty-eight euros (bread, water, wine and coffee). Pleasant space with space between the tables. Also ideal for going with a group. Easy and free parking. I recommend calling to ensure you have a place, it is often very full. Closed Sundays all day and Monday evening. Accessibility for people with reduced mobility.
Restaurant where you can have lunch or dinner, with a daily or weekend set menu. I tried the weekend menu. As an appetizer, they serve a variety of nuts (they seemed homemade...). For the first course, rice with Iberian pork and pig's trotters, excellent. For the second course, Catalan-style pork cheek, excellent. Almost all the desserts are homemade. The chocolate cake was good (the strawberry ice cream was quite good). The staff is excellent. The quality, quantity, and price are very good. Highly recommended!

So convenient. Simple room, delicious meal and lovely staff.
Very good and pleasant
Perfect
We went this weekend with friends. The place was nice. The weekend menu, while not cheap, was very well-balanced in terms of price and quantity. Since we were coming from a wine tasting, we settled for the one on the menu, which wasn't anything special. Overall, it's good and recommended if you go with a group and stick to the menu without extras.
Good service and convenient with hotel stay.
EXCELLENT products and fresh
Ok
I'm giving this place two and a half stars, giving it 5 for service and 0 for food. To begin with, the place seems like a nice spot to eat when you walk in; they have sofas if you have to wait for other people or for a table. The waiters/waitresses were very pleasant, helpful, and attentive, and, at least in our case, they kept smiling despite the various food-related issues we encountered. The service seemed professional, and they served the entire restaurant despite the limited staff available. As for the food, the attached photos speak for themselves. The vegetable tempura they offer as a side dish with some meals was burnt, drenched in oil, and the batter was on one side while the vegetables were swimming in oil on the other—it was a mess. On the other hand, the vegetable coca with goat cheese tasted of nothing but gas. It seemed they reheated the dish somewhere where gas was escaping, and the flavor lingered. The vegetables were frozen and then pan-fried, and to top it all off, the dough was soggy and also frozen. In short, the food was pre-cooked and frozen, nothing homemade. The calamari was incredibly salty; I had to send the whole plate back—it was inedible. And although they said the sauce was romesco, it tasted more like fried tomato with way too much salt. Ultimately, my expectations were based more on the location and the service than on the actual experience. I don't recommend eating at this place until they improve the quality of their food and dishes.
Very little variety in the menu. Some people would rather not eat vegetables in the restaurant. Also, the salmon wasn't done, it was still raw inside.
My experience at Els Noguers was disappointing. Despite the promise of a €16.50 menu, the surprise came with a €50.50 bill for two menus. We discovered that all dishes had an extra charge, which significantly inflated the final price. A very poor value for money. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it. I won't be back!
