There are a variety of good choices for good food at the SB Public Market. But for the best of food choices, Fresco is the BEST OF THE BEST, hands down!

Really impressed with Fresco. The food was super fresh and full of flavor, and it came out fast—perfect for when you're in a hurry but still want something that tastes great. The staff was friendly, and everything felt well put together. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.

DELICIOUS Fresh Fabulous food at Fresco at the Market. My sister and I shared the Veggie Burger. I love the fact that the veggie burger is homemade with veggies and lentils! The burger comes with avocado, red onion, lettuce, cheese and a tasty sauce! We also shared the Hot Mushroom Combo grilled sandwich-WOW-what an amazing combo of mushrooms, brie cheese on a grilled sourdough levain. The Gorgonzola Walnut salad with fresh baby greens, gorgonzola, candied walnuts and citrus vinaigrette is delightful! Equally fantastic is the Jill's Big Salad with romaine lettuce, cheddar cheese, sugar snap peas, pepitas and pistachios! Everything on the menu is tasty!!

I have been eating at Fresco since the old days in 5 Points. So happy they reopened at the Public Market and they haven’t missed a beat. The Grinder hot is legit and the Philly Cheesesteak they had on special was on point. And don’t miss The Caesar Salad, you won’t regret it. I ordered the Grown-up Grilled Cheese and the Jill’s Big Salad as my pick of a side . The salad was larger than expected and loaded with toppings! The grilled cheese was so delicious with creamy Brie and Blue drizzled with hot honey. Yum!

We ordered ahead for picnic to go for 12 people, with a selection of sandwiches, salads and desserts. It was a big success! Comments were "best chicken salad sandwich" "turkey tastes like home roasted and sliced" "Did you make this fabulous salad?" "Macaroon cookies are like the best parts of a macaroon - incredible!" Great adult grilled cheese. Free 2 hour parking underneath.

I hate to give a bad review, but I am really mystified by the good reviews. I tried two different desserts and neither one had any taste at all. One was a small round chocolate cake. The other was a chocolate chip cookie with walnuts. My wife had the same experience, so it wasn't just me. I wouldn't mind that they were rather expensive if they at least tasted good. What is weird is that they looked so good!

Went to buy a water and waited about 20 minutes just to pay. I understand they were busy but I was just getting a water which was $4 by the way. Ridiculous.
