1 Oz Coffee Santa Clara Reviews
Came here from the Café Passport. Wish you would offer a special stamp for it :) Great coffee! Love the location and atmosphere Wait time was normal. I had the honey lavender latte and really liked the strong espresso flavor and sweetness balance. I do wish more sizes were offered. Unfortunately they were out of the sweet pastries, but I opted for the everything croissant which was 10/10. They have some tall tables, but wish more were available. They also sell some prepackaged snacks Wifi available with password. Noise level is perfect. Make sure to bring your laptop charged. Plenty of parking available Friendly service.
Potentially the best espresso I’ve ever had. The strawberry single-origin genuinely tastes like a pastry. Incredible! The staff here is also incredibly friendly and genuine.
The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable — perfect for hanging out. The latte was smooth and rich ☕️
All of 1 Oz’s locations produce excellent coffee beverages and delicious light meals, but the unique location of this one merits special attention. Set in the heart of a business park, there is ample outdoor seating and on the weekends it’s a very kid-friendly atmosphere. I recommend classic beverages done well like flat whites, cortados, and macchiatos. They bring in pastries from local bakeries which are delectable, and they have toast and bagel options for something more substantial.
The best proper cortado in the bay area. Their flagship blend coffee beans are amazing too.
This is a truly a 10/10 coffee shop. The people working are all so kind, the seating area is spacious, quiet and comfortable with lots of sunlight. But what matters most- the espresso is fantastic. This is one of only two places in the bay area that I’ve tried that pull a really great shot. They’re also the most consistent shop I’ve ever been to, I’ve been 5 times now and the espresso is always delicious and essentially exactly the same. Vanilla syrup is homemade (I get half sweet and it’s perfect), cappuccinos are beautifully made. I could not recommend this place more, I have and will continue to drive way out of my way to go back.
Real specialty coffee done right. You have to be grateful when you can get it this good. I got a lovely Gibraltar with bright balanced acidity and super velvety texture. My girlfriend's Rainer Rainfall was perfection for a flavored drink. Beautiful outdoor space. Friendly top-tier service. Thank you, keep doing what you're doing!
Got here ~15 min before closing and got a flat white and a pastry. All they had left was a ginger pullapart — I’m not a big fan of ginger pastries, but I was hungry and it was half price, so hey, why not? The flat white was good and I don’t know if it was because I was hungry after my flight, but I really enjoyed the ginger pullapart! Service was good and the atmosphere was really nice, but I needed to head back to my hotel so I couldn’t really stay (but would’ved loved to!)
Okay, this is my new favourite place in Bay to grab a coffee or a drink. I said this, even before I got my drink. It’s large open air cafe surrounded by drab boring corporate buildings. There are a bunch of comfortable couches spread all around. Try and grab one of those under tree shade. I could literally fall asleep there. The couch is comfortable, and there was a gentle breeze. The drink was amazing as well. I got a Hojicha latte and asked it to be sweetened with honey specifically. It was just the right amount of sweetness. Not too sweet. The menu is limited, but the drinks are really good. They have some specialty drinks as well as some baked goods. There’s free Wi-Fi and I saw a bunch of people working on their laptops. I will be back soon.
Industrial & Charming at the same time! Its good to have an artisan coffee around silicon valley thank you for opening this place! You’re santa clara’s best kept secret. On the pricey end for the size offering. I wish they serve with big latte mugs. Seating is plenty and beautifully nestled between buildings, a couple of companies, very industrial and cozy. Hours are limited but I wont complain, its part of the charm! And pls stay small and humble 🙏🏼
1 Oz coffee is a cute open air coffee shop. They had several specialty drinks which were all good - I especially liked the Honey Cinnamon Latte (iced)! They had some tasty looking pastries, and service was fast. What's really special about this coffee shop is the location - the open air cafe is a real treat, and there's tons of nice seating so you can lounge outside enjoying your order. Plus, it's dog friendly! I took photos of the menus and the location, so check out my photos to get a feel for what 1 Oz coffee has to offer!
Tried one of their summer specials, The Kauai, a coffee where you can actually taste the coffee. The coconut shavings in every sip were an unexpectedly fun twist (didn’t hate it!). Loved the breezy outdoor seating and quick service, though I still feel the price tag is on the steeper side.
The vanilla bean latte was pretty decent. The mango matcha was very sweet and syrupy. The service was pretty slow. The outdoor seating was nice, but i was a bit scared of bird droppings falling in my coffee 🤣 It was quite noisy so I felt like it was not a great place to chill with my book.
Excellent loved the seasonal cookie butter coffee really good but only 8 oz wish for a bigger cup given the steep price and peppermint latte it was like creamy peppermint bark in liquid form , overall pleased with this location, it is nestled in between office buildings but accessible total spent for these coffee about $15 with tax but taste delicious
This little coffee spot is somewhat odd. It’s tucked away in the central courtyard area between a bunch of offices. It’s genuinely a challenge to find. That said, once you do find it, the outdoor area around it is lovely. Great for just relaxing on a nice sunny day. The food options here are quite limited, however, and they don’t have a lot of flavor options for their drinks. To their credit, they are a small little free-standing coffee shack. So, they probably can’t stock a ton of stuff. For the price, though, I’m not blown away.
The coffee is generally good, however the moment more than 4 people order, they have a huge backlog and wait would be over 15 mins to order. I am a regular here, and on many occasions had to wait for so long just to order. I honestly feel they aren’t equipped to handle crowd, and probably should hire atleast another barista during rush hour. Otherwise, it’s a good coffee shop set in a beautiful courtyard.
Barista is very inconsistent and doesn’t follow instructions. I ask for extra hot, they make it lukewarm. I ask for with espresso and less sweet they make it without espresso and make it super sweet.
During my recent visit to town, I decided to check out this café due to its positive reviews. However, I believe it has been overhyped. The service was lacking, and considering the prices, one would expect drinks to be filled up. It felt like the entire staff was hiding in the back, making for a rather strange coffee shop experience.
