Roca Vell Santa Eulàlia de Ronçana Reviews
Toda la comida estaba buenísima. El servicio y ambiente genial. Ideal para desconectar y comer bien. Repetiremos seguro.
I found it to be a place with a magnificent atmosphere and great food. Today we went for a birthday party and the truth is, the waitress who served our table of 26 was incredible. Her kindness and ability to make us feel comfortable and well taken care of was outstanding. A true professional.
A very quiet, cozy, and not overcrowded place, with excellent, super-fast service. And the dining experience was very good. I recommend the set menu; it's more affordable than the à la carte menu. Couples of a certain age come here, which shows they already know where they're going and what to expect, given their dining experience.
A fantastic restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere, several dining rooms, and a terrace for events. It has ample private parking. The food is expertly prepared, and the portions are generous. The service is quick and friendly. The menu is quite extensive, offering a wide selection of appetizers, meat, and fish dishes. The desserts are spectacular. Highly recommended if you want a good meal at a reasonable price.
Excellent service, incredible food, and generous portions! We will definitely be back! For starters, we ordered some calamari and croquettes; for the main course, I had the garlic hake with baked potatoes, which was incredible, and my husband ordered the lamb shoulder, which tasted like heaven! We ordered everything from the menu, but they had a spectacular set menu for 15 euros, so it depends on what each person wants ❤️
The truth is, I'd never had the pleasure of being there, and it left me speechless. First, the location, both inside and out. Most importantly, the quality of the food and the quantity. We ordered starters to share. Esqueixada. Special cannelloni. Andalusian-style squid!! They're a must-have; they make the batter themselves. Garlic shrimp is also delicious. For the main course, we ordered the signature dish: Broth-in-the-Bread Rice with Lobster. CAN'T BE EXPLAINED!!! And rice with Agus beef. Truly. Spectacular!! Don't hesitate to go! Above all, it's a wonderful place to go with the family.
Fantastic food experience
Lovely Spanish restaurant with an excellent range of Spanish food. Superb red wine served with the meals.
The food is plentiful, but I noticed that all the dishes are a bit salty. The goat cheese salad was very good; I especially liked the piece that was over two centimeters thick. The croquettes are good but small; some are the size of a hazelnut. With some, it's hard to tell what flavor they are. The place is very nice, and parking is easy. It gets too noisy during peak hours, especially if there are large tables. It can be annoying. The service is adequate. I would recommend this restaurant if you want a different kind of atmosphere.
A charming place with a good atmosphere and very pleasant waiters. They always advised us on what to order. We especially appreciated the goat cheese salad and the Iberian pork secreto, which was very tender and flavorful. You can skip the calamari because it didn't have much flavor. The Catalan cream is worth trying for dessert.
We ordered the weekend menu and the calçot menu, pretty much because they don't allow one person to order from the menu and the other from the à la carte menu. I understand it's because of the unlimited drinks, but they should do something so that anyone at the table can order from the à la carte menu if they want... because some people don't eat that much and would only order one dish. The weekend menu costs €35... which is normal for many weekend menus, but the meat and a few other things were just okay. The atmosphere was nice, very welcoming, but the service was very slow, both when it was quiet and later when it got even more crowded. The waiters were very good, charming, but I suppose the dining room needs to be better organized.
It's been very disappointing. We used to go there very often, but not anymore. We gave it a second chance, and it was the last. TIP: If you're going to order the set menu, DO NOT order a beer beforehand...they charge you extra for it...and you have to order exactly what they tell you. It's either one set menu or the other, or everyone à la carte...it's practically restaurant apartheid, and you're paying 40 euros per person. A rip-off. They're living off their past reputation. Never again.
We went because of the good reviews on Google, but honestly, we didn't think it was good. Although the place is nice, and that wasn't a problem, we think that due to the high demand, the waiters couldn't keep up with all the diners, and the food seemed like a case of trying too hard, something poorly made. The icing on the cake was that they didn't even bother to make sure the top of the crema catalana was properly cooked, and the cheesecake was labeled as homemade, but you didn't need a master's degree in cooking to see that it was pre-made.
We went with the family on Three Kings' Day and chose a set menu with tapas, a main course, and dessert. The tapas were meager, but the worst part was the quality; they were all frozen. The main courses took ages to arrive, but at least they tasted good. The cheesecake, besides being a small portion, wasn't good at all; it was excessively sweet. Although the waitresses apologized several times for the delay and their service was good, I couldn't recommend it for the price.
Under the new management, it's been disappointing. Today, Christmas Day, was our third visit, and we won't be back. We booked a table and selected our dishes a month in advance. It took 35 minutes for the first course to arrive, and it was a cold cannelloni with a reheated, set béchamel sauce. For the second course, we waited another 30 minutes. It arrived cold, and we complained. The food had been reheated several times, was dry, and cold. The quality has dropped significantly compared to the previous management. The price is outrageous for the quality they offer.
A place to discover, excellent service and excellent food but let's say the anger that the owner or someone superior yelled at a worker in front of the customers. What a disappointment of a boss who has an excellent place u. Excellent workers and excellent food u how. Boss let's say how he treats some of his workers poorly, in front of the customer and besides I saw everything, how bad life is with. Terrible boss and low on part of being a boss and then we want the workers to be there for the job when the girl was a love and professional, if someone sees this review I want them to keep it in mind and not because of all the excellent food but because of the spectacle of visual bits thanks to the girl who served us great
