This is our favorite brunch place! We come here at least once a month and have ordered a bunch of different things and it's all really good. It's super cute, plus everyone is very nice! Great about coffee refills too. Some favorites are the tuna melt and the two egg breakfast with hash browns.

I came here for breakfast today with a fine gentleman and was surprised to see that it is essentially an outdoor cafe. The entire dining room is on the patio while partially enclosed from the street and surrounded by palm trees, shrubs and greenery. The tables are either wood, metal or combination of the two. We were the first to arrive so we had the space to ourselves for a while. . As we chatted, our server, Haru, checked on us several times, he was attentive and kind. We finally looked at the menu and I ordered the Sun Dried Tomato Omelette which came with spinach & goat cheese. With the omelettes you get a choice of fruit, roasted potatoes, hash browns or a side salad & toast. The choices of toast include an English muffin, sourdough, or rye bread. They also have gluten free bread and bagels as options. My date ordered The French Toast special and got scrambles eggs for their style and chose bacon over sausage. We didn't wait too long for the plates to come out and the portions were large. My omelette was a little overcooked, but layered nicely as I could see all the ingredients as I cut into it. I surprised myself by eating more than half of my plate and that fine gentleman put all of his food away. For drinks we had peppermint and green teas and an orange juice. . For the two of us the bill was a few dollars shy of $40. If you ordered lightly, it can be less. Located centrally on Pico Boulevard, a few steps from Santa Monica College and across the street from the library, LD is a neighborhood staple. Break bread with them sometime!

The food was great! I had the Santa Fe Omelette with roasted potatoes and sourdough bread. The fresh orange juice was AMAZING. I also had a vanilla latte with almond milk. Overall a great experience.

Omg, where do I even start? There’s a really small parking in the back like 4 spaces and parking on the street. It’s a small place but going in is so quaint and just brings in a calm, humble atmosphere. Plenty of seating and room for large families. I arrived around 8 AM and was seated immediately. The staff here is just impeccable and attentive. You can tell everyone enjoys working here. The menu made it so hard to order cause everything sounded great. The coffee is delicious. I highly recommend enjoying a lovely breakfast here. And if you do, enjoy! :)

Hidden Jewel! Delicious Delicious Delicious. Carne Asada was perfectly seasoned and tenderized. Potatoes were Excellently made also with the tenderness and spices. I didn't have to add anything to my food. Very pleased with my choice this day. I will definitely be visiting again soon. Customer Service was Awesome!

This casual spot is my go-to for breakfast and lunch, especially after soccer practice with my son at Virginia Park, which is conveniently located right across the street. Although I haven't visited their other two locations, this one has never disappointed. The menu might seem simple at first glance, but it's brimming with options. My personal favorite is the huevos rancheros, while my son can't get enough of their Breakfast Pancakes, which are served with two eggs any style and a choice of bacon or sausage. The seating is primarily outdoors, so I recommend bringing an extra layer if you plan to dine on the patio. A highlight for me is that they serve breakfast all day.

What a hidden gem! The most perfect Sunday morning brunch spot. This place has pretty much any breakfast food available, making group brunches way easier. We didn't need a reservation, which I appreciated. I decided to try the Huevos Rancheros and they did not miss. They were full of flavor and I licked my plate clean. The prices are very reasonable and fair for the amount of food you receive. My friend was cold so we decided to move inside closer to the heaters. The staff was very accommodating and helped us move our food and belongings inside. We will be back!

Came here for the first time and had a hard time picking my first meal! I went with their classic waffle breakfast. Meal was very good, and my friends fish tacos looked amazing. I'd been meaning to come here as long as it has existed and wish I had tried it sooner. The atmosphere is very lovely and the staff is friendly.

I had such a delicious omelette. Full of tomatoes, broccoli, and cheese. Couldn't eat it all. Love the avocado on top. The staff was excellent with a shorter than usual wait for food. The setting is welcoming. I only have a picture of my half eaten omelette.

Is a nice small place great to enjoy your meal, I had the Greek omelet with spinach and feta cheese, roasted potatoes and wheat bread, the plate looked so good and yummy and I wasn't disappointed with the flavors, everything was cooked perfectly, also the attention from the staff was great, they came often if I want more coffee. They have a extensive menu for breakfast and lunch and the prices are cheaper than other places. I totally recommend this little restaurant Lazy Daisy in Santa Monica between Pico Blvd. and 23th. Street.🤗😉👍

Staff was nice but took some effort to wave down once food was served. Very standard breakfast. Crispy hash browns and bacon, and sunny side eggs cooked perfectly. Nice outdoor patio. Prices consistent with SM brunch.

A Lazy Sunday and a Lazy Daisy cafe to start the day things got bettah. :D Let’s begin! Lazy Daisy Cafè is a colorful quaint outdoor cafe located on Pico blvd and 23rd st in Santa Monica. This little café offers an all-day menu of breakfast omelets, french toast, pancakes, sandwiches and salads as well as an espresso. I came as a first time customer and was met with a nice smile and greeting from a female hispanic hostess. It has mostly outdoor seating. I perused their menu and it has a modest food and drink items. I had a French Toast Special x Iced Coffee. Both taste good and modestly satisfying. Service was impeccable. Staff were cordial, attentive and professional. Prices were super reasonable despite its location. Street Parking was available and easy to park. Overall, it’s a nice cafe to grab a quick breakfast or lunch in a quiet street. I recommend you visit.

very casual cute Santa Monica spot with outdoor patio both covered and uncovered. The place was not crowded when we went, but we were told the kitchen was slammed and there would be a wait for our food, which was accurate.

There's a major staffing problem here. 15 minute wait to get a table isn't bad, but from the time we sat at our table to the time our meals came was an hour and 15 minutes, making the whole ordeal very lengthy. During the wait we always had to hail a waiter down for a refill. The eggs benedict and freshly squeezed OJ are divine, and the Santa Fe frittata was also very good. But that doesn't make up for the lack of service and extended wait, which also got up to an hour for a table during their lunch rush while patrons were waiting over an hour for their food.

This place could be better, the service was good but the food was average. Cold French toast and warm juice…not good. Also, the smoothie machine is so loud that it drowns out the conversation and music every time it runs. Not going back.
