Having re cently visited the Playa restaurant in Sant pola i would highly recommend their Menue Del Dia an outstanding well cooked & prepared food with exceptional value for 16euroes my meal consisted of an Italian cheese salad dish of calamares sliced ham with main course delicous beef stew potatoes & vegertables & choice of dessert ( drinks excluded)

La atención del camarero ha sido exquisita, muy simpático y solícito para atendernos, el arroz meloso de bogavante estaba súper rico y el punto del arroz clavado. Las tapas de almejas y el resto de cosas que pedimos también estaban muy sabrosas. Quiero probarlo para cenar, porque repetir, seguro que repetiré. Yo lo recomiendo totalmente.

La comida estaba buena, el ambiente era muy amable con el entorno natural que había al rededor, con muy buenas vistas al mar y el precio era adecuado a la comida. El servicio es decir camarer@s y cociner@s eran muy buenos y siempre estaban atent@s.

Too bad wifi is only for staff. I don't get why they can't just set up a guest network. Otherwise food was quite good and the location is nicr and clean, right by the beach.

Restaurant Playa has been totally refitted for summer 2020. It could best be described as “industrial” but is none the worse for that. It’s clean, comfortable, friendly and has mellow background music that doesn’t intrude on quiet conversation. This was our second visit following the refit; the first was an outside table for tapas and a beer, but this was a sit-in meal. I started with cheese and jam, which is the best I’ve had anywhere in Spain. I followed up with a pizza. The base was more pastry-like than a traditional Italian bread pizza, but that was more than compensated for by the toppings, which were generous and tasty. My partner had chipirones; now we had these on the previous visit and they weren’t great - a bit wet in the middle is the best way to describe them - and I advised against them, but they got a second go and were still less than ideal. The tuna and tomato salad, on the other hand was excellent and very tasty. Not a salad in the traditional sense, but lots of tomato flavours and nicely cooked fish. As long as there’s Aperol behind the bar and the deep fried cheese on the menu, we’ll be back!

La comida está muy rica y es de buena calidad pero el trato al cliente es frío y muy mejorable. Una lástima porque al final eso, más que una buena decoración, es lo que marca querer volver. No recomiendo las alcachofas, no estaban muy allá. Abajo hace mucho calor incluso dentro. Es mejor arriba o fuera.

Un lugar a pie de playa que exteriormente ya te llama la atención por no ser el típico local de la zona. Pedimos, croquetas de pollo curry, calamares, rissoto de queso manchego, costillar confitado y los postres, tarta de manzana y tarta de zanahoria, el servicio nos resultó bastante lento, nos trajeron pan después de pedirlo 2 veces a más de la mitad de la comida, y he de decir que la tarta de zanahoria estaba muchísimo más rica la que hacían antes, desde este comentario, busco fundamentalmente ayudar a mejorar, ya que suelo ir cada verano por la zona y parece que todo vale. Recomiendo este sitio, porque aparte del servicio la comida esta rica, tienen un DJ en directo, la.ubicacion es genial, el local es muy bonito y los precios están ajustados, ojalá la próxima vez vaya todo mucho más rodado!!

En el local estaba bien, con un música ambiente y dónde los camareros son atenciosos, como por ejemplo uno de ellos que se llama Juan, un camarero excepcional. •Un punto negativos: La cena se nos tardó un poco, hemos tenido unos imprevistos. •Puntos positivos: -Todos tenían un buen sabor. -Platos bien presentados. -Atención rápida

Very disappointed. Waiters were not friendly. It was almost as if they did not want the business, certainly not repeat business. Food was bland and expensive. Ordered steak entrecot. It was edible but came with just some fried potatoes ...no salad !!

We,ve been there for New Years Eve. the outside of the restaurant very dirty. the service was delayed and not very friendly. the music didnt exist until 12 at midnight, and then a dj put an awfull music (not a hit knowed by someone, some strange mixes that didnt atract a lot of people...the average age of the clients was around 40-50, so...). they served a lot of plates, but in a hurry, didnt had time to enjoy every course, the meat was too rare even for children....

I’m sorry, this was a disappointment. After a brilliant lunch in the warm sunshine and a lovely paella we booked for dinner. The pizzas were just so basic. Like cream crackers with topping. The cannelloni was not what we were expecting. Also cold in the restaurant, we kept our coats on. Great for the beach but not for dinner. Shame, fabulous location.

Fuimos a tomar algo 2 personas con una tapa y una decido que quería comer,la otra no queria, íbamos a pedir un menú de 29 euros y nos dijeron que no se podía servir solo un menú si éramos dos en la mesa, algo ilógico por qué si alguien no tiene hambre y acompaña a comer a su amiga, en este sitio, no puedes, en resumen , nos fuimos pagando la bebida y la tapa, 11 euros, en vez de 40 o más... En la carta,no ponía que fuese mínimo 2 personas.Mala gestión y tampoco es que sea una maravilla la comida.no volveré

Mala experiencia. Nos sentaron junto a la puerta de entrada del local pasamos frío y muy incómodos . Habían mesas libres en el local . Aún así nos sentaron en una mala mesa. El trato del personal es frio y distante. Mal servicio. La comida no estaba a la altura de un menú navideño de 55€ . Arroz muy normalito con entrantes escasos que no justifican el precio pagado. Mala experiencia para el día de Navidad.

siempre desayuno todos los domingos en este lugar no tengo queja , pero lo que me he encontrado hoy que pedí ir al ase me parece una falta de respeto para los clientes que a las 9:30 de la mañana tú vayas a un lugar des estos donde por cierto barato no es y y encuentres un aseo en esta s condiciones me parece vergonzoso puesto que se supone que a esa hora ya llevas abierto un buen rato y que no velen los empleados por que el sito esté en condiciones para atender. a las personas que vamos ahí . terrible 😞 no me quiero imaginar si así está el aseo como estará la cocina . qué asco 🤮😷🤢

Poor service. We specifically asked for a table for lunch, were sat down by one waiter, then after waiting for 15 minutes another waiter abruptly told us that the kitchen was closed and that they will not serve us.

I have stayed waiting for more then 15 min and it wasn’t ruch hour it was about 10:30 of the morning but no one came to take my order and also i have noticed that they have seen.if it was possible to give 0 star i will do it.

Don’t go here. Neither my partner nor I have ever sent a meal back, but the chicken was so badly cooked that we had to. We asked if we could have it removed from the bill as we couldn’t eat it. They agreed. We then waited for someone to come with the bill but no one did for around an hour. We decided to go in and pay. Not only did they want to charge for the chicken now, they added on two waters we never received and and extra glass of wine which we never had. We asked them to remove these and the chicken like agreed. Again we waited around 20 minutes and finally, without saying anything they gave us the bill with the chicken still on. Overpriced and the food that was edible was mediocre at best. Plenty of other great places to eat so just don’t bother.

We ordered a pizza and it definitely wasn't fresh. Tasted like all the frozen pizzas you would buy in a supermarket. Worst pizza I've ever had. However, the decoration and the scenery are nice.
