Kafal Restaurant Santa Rosa Reviews
Polite staff, quick service, and the chicken chili Momo came out amazing! Super spicy, just how I like it! I also liked that it had some body; it wasn’t mushy.
This is the best Indian restaurant in Santa Rosa. Their mango lassi‘s and cheese naan breads are to die for! I ordered the lamb paneer and it was so delicious. The staff are incredibly friendly here. I’ll be coming back soon!
Vegetarian review - Ambiance is nice, and has two different seating arrangements - booth or table. Service is nice and they are very accommodating when we ordered something that wasn’t on the menu (Egg Biriyani) but could be found on Yelp. So far we’ve been here twice and ordered Veg. assorted appetizers (mostly mild), Mixed Veg Korma (flavorful), Laccha paratha (filling) and vegetable fried rice (simple and very mild and needs a side). I listed them in the order of taste preference. Second time we repeated most items but added Malai Kofta which was awesome, similar to korma but very rich and this time we tried medium spicy which was so good! They seem to have retained the authenticity with a choice in spice levels which is awesome with kids. Love the place!
Pretty empty which is nice. I had the goat curry and my friend had the buttered chicken, plus garlic naan. Id recommend all of these food choices! All of it was delicious. Food came out decently quick and servers were polite.
Good food and ambience, we ordered chicken chili masala, kadhai paneer and naan and everything tasted great, the server was polite and quite responsive to all our requests. The masala chai at the end tasted great too. We were looking for good Indian food in Santa Rosa and this place didn’t disappoint. About the spice level, well we ordered medium spicy, and it was medium indeed. I recommend this place.
We ate here for my birthday and we were welcomed with spices aroma and amazing food. I loved the flavors! Will definitely recommend to my family!

Lovely restaurant and fabulous service 🤗 I am travelling through Santa Rosa and the food was just fantastic.
We had the best dinner tonight! Our kids loved their kids' chow mein dishes, and the korma and vindaloo my husband and I ordered were sooooo good! We had the Kafal platter which was a great deal and included a sizzling starter that the kids loved and had never had before. The servers were all so friendly and we'll definitely be coming back!
I come to Kafal 2 times a week for lunch. The service is warm and hospitable. I have never had a bad dish but 2 of my favorites are the chicken choela and the Kafal chille chicken......amazing! Come and find out for yourselves!
Amazing!!!!! 3 of us ordered a platter (comes with the dessert and nann) and an appetizer, it is sufficient and affordable too. The servers were very nice, the cook is AWESOME! The food, the spice, the texture is on point. The butter nann is soo tempting with crispy on the edges and outside, plus, soft steaming layers in the middle. You can smell and taste the butter without those greasy oil. Great atmosphere, great time, definitely get something from here if you have no idea what to eat. You'll not regret. 100% highly recommend if you want to fill up your empty stomach for a fair price.
I wanted to share my wonderful experience at Kafal Restaurant with you. If you're looking for the best Indian and Nepali food in town, this is the place to be! Their Momo and Chowmein are simply outstanding, packed with authentic flavors that truly stand out. Not only was the food exceptional, but the service was top-notch as well. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure every detail was perfect throughout my visit. Another big plus is the 90 minute free parking near by , which made my experience even more convenient and stress-free. All in all, I highly recommend Kafal Restaurant to anyone craving delicious Indian or Nepali dishes in a welcoming atmosphere. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed
Food was really good tried the goat curry and samosas and loved them. Service was great. The guy recommended what to get and was super kind and sweet. First time here and I’ll definitely be back.
Their goat curry and chicken tikka were delicious! I'd definitely go back. I also appreciate the complimentary rice pudding with larger orders :)

Excellent food with nice flavors and good use of spices. Jhol momos was awesome and so was the sizzler. Nanna could have been a bit more crispy but overall great taste.
Ordered - Veg Momo - Not very good. Thick coating and filling was ok. - Veg platter for 2: It had assorted appetizers which had samosa, mix pakora and veg pakora. Mix pakora won the show, they were so crispy and flavorful. Paneer pakora were somewhat bland but all in all crispy. Samosa was pretty below average, but everything was served hot, so it was fine. For the entrees we got chana masala: Not very great for a north indian palette and kadhai paneer: This was the show stopper for me. Absolutely delicious and mouth watering. The naan that came along was fresh, hot and made well. For dessert we got carrot pudding: Did not like the flavor and the way it was made. If you are used to having it with milk or khoa, I would recommend skipping it here. Customer service was good. Ambience is ok, nothing special. All in all a good place to give a tru when in area.
Very good food. Portions are a bit small except the samosas, they’re jumbo. Biryani was decent but can be better. Service was good and servers were very nice. Wish they had more variety like chicken chettinad.
Quick service with tasty appetizers and a decent main course. I recommend their platters with a good mix of their Menu.
Lots of vegan options! Yay! Everything we had was good, but the flaky samosas were the best!

My dish was very salty... Like not normal salty. Everyone else's dishes were good so I feel like maybe it's a fluke. The lassi was good as was the naan.
I was going to give them 4 stars but their service leaves a lot to be desired for. I ordered takeout from their website. First, taking 50 mins for a takeout order was surprising. I've lived in many cities and usually, it doesn't take more than 30 mins to get Desi food. Any way, it was also raining quite a bit, so I actually got there later than the 50 mins. I got in and you could see that there was no system. Two people were hovering around the counter. One server was working the tables and hovering around the counter. There was nobody as such to ask my order for. Then, when I told them what I'd ordered, they couldn't find it. I'm pretty sure that they did not realize you can also order through their website, so my order wasn't ready. The main person tried to cover it up by saying they're still working on it. But I could hear him call out the order when I told him what it was. Then, my bill had come to a total of $30. When he ran it at the counter, it was $32. Two bucks is not much in the grand scheme of money, but why would your website show one price and your teller another? And then, he asked me, where did you order this from (while looking at the order email from their website on my phone)? He looked very confused when I said it was from their website. Finally, I got everything sorted out and left but this whole service thing left a negative view in my mind. The food itself was very good! I got a spicy kadhai mushroom which was spicy and delicious. The chilli chicken is the closest I've eaten to real indo-chinese food from home. So once I got over the chaos of the pickup, I did enjoy the food. But you guys need to buckle up with the service!

Door dashed an onion naan kulcha for the first time and was not cooked properly. More than 50% was uncooked; was still a thick dough inside.
