Volveremos a Santander y volveremos a comer allí. ¡Gracias!
He venido 4 veces y siempre fenomenal! Menú muy rico, ambiente familiar, trato inmejorable. Volveré a probar el cocido lebaniego!
Ten of us went to celebrate my father's birthday. Exceptional value for money, the best fried squid of the last season, and the Lebaniego stew was just like the one our grandmothers used to make—delicious! 100% recommended.
The best cocido lebaniego I've ever tasted, and I'm from Cantabria! It was our first time here, but I can't wait to come back and bring family and friends to try it. They also have another menu that looks amazing: cocido montañés, oxtail, cachopo, entrecote, turbot… a traditional and authentic homey atmosphere. Very comfortable.
Today we enjoyed the set menu at El Desfiladero restaurant and were very satisfied, especially considering its incredible price of 18 euros. To start, we chose a fresh salad and some tasty chickpeas with squid. Both dishes were well presented and the portions were generous. The salad was crispy, and the chickpeas were a great match with the squid. For main courses, we opted for the fried fish and the cachopo. The fried fish was light, with the fish cooked to perfection and fresh. The cachopo was delicious and juicy, although the fries were frozen. To top it all off, the desserts were the best: a forest fruit tart and a classic cheesecake. Both options left an excellent taste in our mouths, sweet but not cloying. In short, for only 18 euros, this set menu offers quality and variety that exceed expectations. Without a doubt, a highly recommended option for good food at a reasonable price.
10 out of 10. The Lebaniego stew was absolutely delicious. We practically rolled out of there. The staff is friendly and attentive. It's a 10-minute drive outside the town center, but well worth the trip. Their stews are well-deservedly famous. We loved it. Good price. 100% recommended.
Very nice place to drink and eat. Prices are good for what you order. The best Vermouth in town!! A place to recommend. The service is nice and polite. Keep up the good work. Greetings from a Belgian 👍👍👍👍

Four of us ate a traditional mountain stew (cocido montañés) and were shocked by the bill: €40 per person, plus coffee. The stew was just okay, although the soup wasn't hot and the noodles were stuck together, indicating they weren't fresh. The side dishes were fine, though a bit too fatty. The service was adequate. The place was noisy and the tables were small (we had to move the soup pot to get the side dishes). In short, €20 would have been fine, but charging €40 for that quality of food, service, and the restaurant itself is completely unjustified.
The food was to cry for, no flavor at all even thought I was very hungry I left my plate almost full. That should say about enough.
We went for lunch today and we're not entirely sure what happened, but it was chaotic from the start. One of the waitresses was completely clueless about our order, as we asked for a glass of wine, which was included in the set menu, and she didn't bring it. The noodles in the soup were overcooked and stuck together, the amount of chickpeas was insufficient (we had to ask for more), and the price, in our opinion, was absolutely exorbitant for the quality of the food. A few months ago we ate the same thing, and the quality of the stew was completely different from today's.
They charged us €42 each for a stew that had hardly any flavor. We were also left very hungry, as we couldn't have seconds and they only brought one tray for the six of us. We won't be back. For €20-25 it might have been acceptable, but at that price, we felt ripped off.
We called in the morning to reserve a table for 10. After they took our information and told us we'd be seated at 3:15 pm, we arrived early and they told us it was impossible, that they don't take reservations. Even so, a waiter told us to wait, that we'd have a table around 3:15-3:30 pm. We waited, having a drink. At 3:40 pm, I asked the cook, who came out onto the terrace, and he said he'd see what he could do, that he didn't know why they'd taken my reservation. Finally, they served us, but it was difficult to get our order taken. The food came out quickly, the stew had hardly any noodles, the quality was just okay, and the waiters were inattentive. When we finished, we ordered some shots and they charged us €3.10 each, outrageous! I won't be back. I didn't like it at all and I thought it was quite expensive.
