They are extremely slow even when not busy. The fact that I had to ask for the BBQ SAUCE that wasn't in the bag the last 2 times we went there tells me its a pattern/problem.
So very slow with order to fulfillment. Had seven people standing in lobby waiting on orders at same time. I ordered to value sandwich items and a coffee. Took 2minutes. Our food was luke warm, staff was luke warm too. Out group trashed most of our food once we were on the road. One man who had gone through the drive-thru came inside to get a receipt for his purchase. When I left, he had been waiting for more than 15 minutes.
I really don't understand what has happened to McDonald's because their prices have gone way up and their quality way way down especially at this particular one I gave it one more shot after they messed up my order before and then somehow tried to blame me for it, as if I ordered it wrong! It was ordered on the app just like I always do, I will not give them an excuse for being incompetent and if someone does make a mistake it's better for them to at least own it rather than try to push it off on to the customer I was not the only one she was rude to that day

It's such a shame I had to give a star. We ordered on the kiosk....had to pay at the register so we are waiting....mind you have been standing here quite some time....we get ignored. Can't even pay for our food. People cutting in line demanding things and they get served but not the ones waiting to pay and get their food. We are on the way to the Manning McDonald's and we won't be back here. Ever. Something should be done about the service and everything else with it. Maybe hire people that actually enjoy doing their job and the atmosphere would be so much better than it is now. Went to the kiosk and ordered because your staff completely ignored me. The kiosk was out of receipt paper so I had to go back to the counter. There were 3 other people waiting for their order, and one lady upset because she was charged for 2 apple pies that she didn’t get. The manager said she’s not doing refunds and made the lady purchase something else off the menu, or if she wanted her pies it would take 15 minutes to make. I finally got service after I had to sit on the counter top. Waited 45 minutes for a chicken sandwich and a quarter pounder with cheese, and it wasn’t even hot. I haven’t been to a fast food place in a long time. Wanted to try to get a quick meal because I had a lot going on and didn’t feel like cooking. I know fast food has taken a dive lately but this was probably the worst I’ve ever dealt with. Not sure why fast food is even a thing anymore. You can better service and better quality for lower prices at a sit down restaurant. I ate at a chilis a few months ago and good burger with wait staff was the same price as quarter pounder with cheese meal. Very sad. Yall need to stop delaying the inevitable and shut this place down. Zero stars.
Took 20 minutes to get our order through the Drive thru, Quarter Pounder was less than a Dollar Menu Hamburger and they forgot the 4 Piece Chicken Nuggets....all for $12.80
This place will never get it right. NEVER! Ordered 2 happy meals with McNuggets, extra fries instead of apples and two hi-orange drinks. Received one McNugget meal, the other a burger, apples instead of extra fries and no drinks. Also ordered a basket of fries, but it was more like a smaller size fries dumped into a larger tray. Shame on us for not asking for the drinks, but still. What’s the malfunction there?!!! It never fails, but this is the closest one to us.
Would not recommend. Could be just an off night. Stopped at 9:30pm and constantly had to remind crew food was missing. Nevermind the lake of professionalism. Ended the night with food still missing just not worth the time to go back.
If I could give zero stars I would I requested a refund 3 times after I waited in the lobby for 30 minutes waiting for my order. They did not give me a refund but instead made a mad dash to get my order out when I asked for a refund already. Disorganized and unfriendly service is the motto here. People aside from me also waiting 35+ mins - a gentleman came in with his son because they asked him to pull forward in the drive thru and they forgot about him 35 mins later. They’re taking orders off their screen to reduce drive thru times but they don’t follow through on having them put out - you can and should strive to be better. My order was 769 on 11/22 @12:38pm I didn’t get to leave until 13:09

Ordered two simple meal deals. Waited almost an hour in the parking lot. My order was given to the next car beside me who gladly took it and drove off. When confronting the manager she acted very unprofessional and refused to make my order again. She said “I know I sent that order out” and never made my food again so I got a refund. Horrible experience.
I bought a cheese burger from the Santee location. When I went to pick up my burger I saw two little strands of hair on the side. Once I opened it I saw a chunk of hair that was PURPOSELY put on the burger. I don't know anyone at this location and wasn’t rude because I had gone the drive through and left already. So it wasn't done towards me specifically, but to one of their CUSTOMERS on purpose. If I could post a picture I would!
If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. I’m from out of town, and pulled into the drive thru with my mobile order at 2:03 pm. It was a little busy outside but the inside was completely empty. After getting handed over the drinks, I was asked to pull into curbside which is usually no big deal. However, I waited over 35 minutes. After going inside to receive my very simple order, the worker inside said “someone was supposed to bring that out 15 minutes ago.” Complete lack of communication and service skills at this establishment. By far the WORST McDonalds I’ve ever been to! Now, fries are cold and order is wrong. $30 wasted. Save your time and money and go any place else.
This is a two part critique covering two seperate days. The first was a month or so ago when I was staying at the Tru Hotel behind this McDonalds. I came in 30 minutes prior to closing and paid cash for a choclate milkshake. After 15 minutes I asked what the delay was and I was told it was comming right out. After 10 minutes I see someone starting to clean the machine so I asked where was my shake and the lady responded very rudely that since it was almost closing time they were cleaning the machine. I stated that I had ordered my shake 25 minutes ago and she responded rudly well it is offline now. I said I wanted my money back and I handed her the receipt with the change they returned from the $5 I had paid for originally. The lady ignored the change I provded to make it an even $5, instead of giving me a $5 bill, she proceeded to give me 4 $1.00 bills and the rest in change. I asked her a second time to please convert the change I had provided to her plus the $4 something and change she attempted to give me which equalled $5 for a $5 dollar bill. Rudely she refused and started pointed out that I was only obligated the return costs. Is she correct, I could say yes, but from the customer service perspective, the way she spoke which was right off the street was negative and rude. Todsy, I happened to be staying at the same hotel and came into the lobby to orde for breakfast. Right off the bat I had a half dozen customers who stated they had waited at that moment for 25 minutes for their orders they had paid for. Some new people just left upon hearing this. As a side note the drive through was moving at a an acceptable speed. I waited for 25 minutes and did not see anyone address customers in the lobby. Nobody peaked around the corner to look into the lobby at the disgruntled customers talking to eachother causig new customers to turn around and leave. As always, Mcdonalds (and other fast food restaurants with drive-through as a whole) prioritize the drive-through over the lobby as it looks bad to see cars wrapped around the building. But you cant see the disgruntled customers waiting excessive times in the lobby. On a positive note the bathrooms were very clean.
We waited over an hour at this McDonald’s for a ridiculously simple order (just kids’ meals). Nothing complicated, nothing custom. Pure disorganization. Staff moved at a snail’s pace, barely acknowledged customers, and didn’t seem concerned at all with how long orders were taking. This is fast food, not a sit-down restaurant, and yet it took longer than most full-service places. If a basic Happy Meal takes an hour, that’s a major management problem. Save yourself the frustration and go literally anywhere else.
My elderly and disabled parents stopped at this McDonald’s while traveling, and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. When they arrived, my father went to the counter to order while my mother went to the restroom. About 15 minutes later, she came out and found him still waiting—he had yet to be acknowledged, let alone helped. Multiple people walked by without saying a word, and no one at the counter offered to assist him. After standing there for quite a while longer, they gave up and struggled through the self-service kiosk, which is not easy for them due to mobility and accessibility limitations. My mother kindly asked a staff member who was mopping the floor if someone could bring their food out to them. The employee went into the back to let the team know. When the food was brought out, my mother asked to speak with a manager, but was told there wasn’t one available. However, there clearly was someone in charge in the back wearing a different uniform. What’s most frustrating is that they had stopped at this same location earlier in their trip and were able to order at the counter without issue (though even then it took nearly 15 minutes to get their food). This kind of inconsistent and dismissive service is not acceptable—especially for elderly or disabled guests who need a little extra assistance. Counter service should always be an option, and your team should be trained to recognize and support customers who may not be able to use kiosks. This experience was not just inconvenient—it was upsetting and unkind. I hope the management team takes steps to correct this and ensures better service for all guests moving forward.
Honestly shut this place down, this place smells like mold and nasty old water.. it smell really bad by the freestyle machines on top of that this is what yah serving people BLACK MOLD on their drinks! This store NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN ! Will report it to the department of health! This is unbelievable! Look at this photos, hasn’t been clean in MONTHS possibly a year or two 😔
