Anne's Crepes Saranac Lake Reviews
Can't recommend this place enough. It is small (two tables and bar seating) and you can't be in a rush but Anne is the sweetest ever and she whips up a delicious, well-balanced crepe. She is obviously passionate about what she does. Home-y vibes and authentic crepes. A few specials every day on the board.
Small, only 18 seats and the owner does it all. She studied cooking in France and she makes a selection of Crepes, savory and sweet ones. The place had so much character we returned the next day.
Truly a gem in Saranac Lake! Crepes were delicious and Anne is welcoming and friendly. Lots of returning regulars, which is a strong testament to her character and good food! Savoury: Ham, cheese and the caramelised onions were perfect. Sweet: Sugar and Cinnamon
My wife and I love it here!! Anne is wonderfully a one woman show in her namesake crêperie. She greets you, takes your order, makes your food, serves you, and stirs warm and welcoming conversation. The food is absolutely amazing. There are sweet as well as savory crepe options on the menu and daily specials. Anne provides an authentic experience having spent years in France in the culinary scene, teaching at a culinary institute in NY, and previously operating her own full French restaurant in Saranac Lake. It’s cash only here so be prepared, but if not, there’s a couple banks within a block or few. It is knowingly generous that she donates all her tips to the local humane society. If you’re here when she’s open, do your self a favor and stop in to enjoy. Bon appétite!!
Absolutely loved my visit to Anne’s Crepes in Saranac Lake! As a brand-new resident, this was one of my first local stops—and what a welcome it was. I had the Gruyère, spinach, and artichoke crepe, and it was nothing short of perfection: rich, savory, and beautifully balanced. Anne herself was incredibly warm and friendly, making the experience feel less like a quick bite and more like a neighborly hello. This little spot is a gem, and I already can’t wait to come back—next time with friends in tow!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had lunch at Anne’s and it was absolutely delicious — both the galettes and crêpes were top-notch. As a French native who spent all my holidays in Bretagne growing up, and now living overseas, I can say without hesitation: these are the best crêpes I’ve had outside of Brittany. Anne herself is incredibly warm and welcoming, even though the restaurant was quite busy when we visited. She runs the place solo and still manages to create an authentic, homey atmosphere — and you can truly taste the love and tradition in every dish. A hidden gem and well worth the détour. Don’t miss it if you’re in the area!
We really enjoy this place — amazing flavors and it feels like home. If you're in the area, don't forget to stop by this hidden gem!
We enjoyed savory crepes for breakfast at this petite cafe run by the owner. I would recommend checking the calendar posted in the window for opening hours and bringing cash. Coffee is available to make yourself in the keurig machine on site.
Anne was the sweetest and the crepes wonderful. So happy i happened along at the right time and day
Me and 3 little girls. Anne was incredible! She made the crepes where you can watch. And she loves kids. We sat right at the bar seating

Didn't know this place existed until we walked in and what a wonderful welcome by Annie! Such a sweetheart! Unusual ingredient options can make for fantastic crepes. Enjoy 😍
Anne is so kind. She really cared for us and made sure we were well taken care of. Honestly such a sweet little business. She is so generous and the prices are so reasonable. 10/10
Enjoyed meeting Anne, the owner of the creperie. We ordered savory crepes off the menu, and were blown away by how delicious they were. Turns out Anne completed chef school in France, and also ran a nearby French bistro for many years. She also sampled a chocolate mousse layered crepe dessert that was to die for! I'll definitely visit again next time I'm in Saranac.
Great find! I had heard there was a new crepe spot in town and was so glad to find myself able to stop in. There are both sweet and savory crepes on the menu. I enjoyed the lemon curd with blueberry and it was delicious. Hoping to stop in for a savory one tomorrow! Definitely worth a visit!
Holy crepe. Great crepe and even better experience talking with sweet Anne. The crepes are authentic with fresh ingredients made in front of you. We will be back. Thank you!
Not all heros wear crepes. Most delicious crepe I've ever had! Make sure to get the Banana Nutella and toasted almonds!
What a great find . The crepes were delicious and Anne the owner is so very personable . The atmosphere is very quaint ! Part of the gratuities are also donated to the local animal shelter !
Absolutely the best crepes place for many miles around. The food is delicious and the owner, Ann, is a delight to talk to.
Absolutely, hands down, best crepes I've ever experienced. We had both sweet and savory and we're surprised at how great they were.
Scrumptious, homemade and exquisite. I had the Bastille Day special, socca crepe with ratatouille. Anne makes you feel like you are cherished family in her home kitchen. Thank you, Anne.
