Casa Aleghe Sauze d'Oulx Reviews
We had the pleasure of discovering this restaurant during the Cevrin Fair on Sunday! Everything was delicious, with top-quality ingredients and very friendly staff. Also noteworthy is the deliciousness of their craft beer, which is truly worth it. Highly recommended, and we'll be back to try the à la carte menu.
I've known the owners of Casa Aleghe for over 30 years, and I can say with certainty that, besides being wonderful people, they are also true friends. Their trattoria perfectly reflects who they are: welcoming, genuine, and full of human warmth. The dishes are prepared with local products and showcase tradition with simplicity and authenticity: each course is an invitation to rediscover the flavors of the past. Don't miss the craft beers, all unique and refined, especially the chestnut brusata, which surprises with its unique flavor. Hospitality and friendliness are the hallmarks: you feel welcomed like family. Cristina, with her kindness and attentiveness, always manages to make everyone feel at ease, from the youngest guests to guests with special needs. A place you'll always want to return to, certain of finding quality, friendship, and an authentic atmosphere. Chiara Vacchieri
My wife and I stumbled upon this restaurant in Coazze by chance. Even though we hadn't booked, they welcomed us warmly and seated us perfectly. We started with two veal tuna dishes, truly excellent and plentiful. Next came a tender and flavorful sirloin steak, served with delicious, well-cooked potato wedges. My wife chose a giardiniera with a truly traditional flavor, very good and plentiful. And then there were the craft beers from the local Aleghe brewery, high-quality and with many variations. You absolutely must try the Birra Brusata, a double malt beer smoked with organic chestnuts, a delight for lovers of truly quality beer. The service was quick and the young woman who served us was extremely kind. The restaurant was clean and tidy. The final price was excellent value. Truly well done, we'll definitely be back!
A very welcoming place with friendly, smiling staff. The dishes are excellent. The blueberry gnocchi are delicious with unexpected combinations. The cheese board is very tasty with unusual flavors. To round out our experience, we also tried the local chestnut beers. Overall, it's a place we'll return to, especially for the many things to try.
I'm sorry, I didn't remember to take photos of the dishes because they were so good, I posted them right away. Giardiniera, vitello tonnato, gnocchi and toma cheese, grilled vegetables, baked trout, blueberries and raspberry-blueberry sorbets, double malt amber beers, and ginger Whyzen. Everything was delicious, very good. Courteous and attentive service. Beautiful atmosphere. We'll be back.
There's not much to say other than "go, try it, and you'll definitely be back." First of all, for the courtesy and the feeling Cristina creates, putting the customer at ease. Then the food, excellent... Really excellent! We tried first courses, second courses, side dishes, and desserts on several occasions. Never a single thing disappointed us, it was truly perfect. And last but not least, their craft beer, amazing! At lunchtime during the week, there's a "workers' price" menu, and on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, there's an à la carte menu, with prices that are absolutely average. Their strong points are kindness and quality.
We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The owner was incredibly friendly and attentive, and her English is excellent, which made communication effortless. She was more than happy to accommodate special requests, which made us feel very welcome. The food was outstanding—it's been a long time since we've had such a delicious meal! And to top it all off, the prices are very reasonable. Overall, it's a fantastic restaurant, and we will definitely be coming back!
Highly recommended. What more could you ask for? We ate and drank well, the table service was excellent, and the final bill was excellent. We'll have to return again to try all the dishes offered because, besides appetizers, first courses, and desserts, we didn't try the second courses. Seeing them pass by, I must say they piqued my curiosity. The amber beer with a chestnut aftertaste (the brusata) was delicious and paired perfectly with the rice; I couldn't help but take a bottle home. The house digestif was complimentary: a delicious grappa with honey from the Susa Valley. See you soon, Cristina. Your kindness, paired with your dishes, truly brightened our family evening.
Simple, honest, authentic dishes...the delicious flavors of mother's cooking, for those lucky enough to have a mother who loved to cook. A welcoming atmosphere and impeccable, no-frills service. And a little holiday chat at the end of the meal is always a pleasure! We'll definitely be back.
Ok
A mix between a pub and a trattoria. The place is charming, and you can choose from burgers or traditional Piedmontese dishes, all of which are delicious. The highlight is definitely the Aleghe beer, which is served on tap in many variations and in large mugs, making it a real treat. The service is decent, but the bill could be more reasonable. A few notable shortcomings: the breadsticks were sold out, and the birramisu was also offered for dessert. Still, it's worth it just for the good beer.
