Locales de Comida Corrida Schiller Reviews
This place is amazing!!!! Every dish is amazing, wonderful flavors, really good drinks that are well made and wonderful staff. Clean and tidy, with good restrooms. All in all 10 out of 10. But don’t take my word for a try yourself!!!!! Brax and Bea.
I had a great experience at this restaurant! Daniela was amazing. very kind, attentive, and welcoming. I ordered the bandeja paisa and the ceviche, and both were delicious and beautifully presented. Everything was lovely. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Daniela provided excellent service from start to finish. She has an amazing charisma and made me feel very well taken care of the entire time. The food was 10 out of 10, and she was always attentive and friendly. You can really see the effort she puts into keeping customers happy. Highly recommend her! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
La Colonia is becoming one of my neighborhood favorites, and definitely my top Colombian/Ecuadorean option in the area. Their encocado and llapingachos are quite good, and their caldo de bolon is to die for. They also went out of their way to fix a mistake in my delivery order (seems caused by software), rushing me over my missing item ASAP. Thank you!
This place is phenomenal. The food is truly outstanding. My son ordered the lomo saltado, and he’s eaten at most Peruvian restaurants—he said this was hands down the best he’s ever had. I ordered the Picada la Colonia, and it was absolutely amazing—perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The happy hour drinks were fantastic, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. This is an absolute must-try and a place we will 100% be coming back to.
I can’t stop thinking about this place. One of the most cozy and authentic restaurants I have ever been to. The owner is incredible and the food is even better. Would give 6 stars if I could
I had a dish that I hadnt had in 5 years, since my mom died cancer. She's the only person that would make it. It was a real emotional meal. They made it very well. This place is great
Food was absolutely incredible! get the coconut tilapia, you won't be disappointed. Maria was a phenomenal server,Busch a wonderfully nice person.
The vibe was nice and the waitress were very attentive. The food is delicious and the price for the meals are fair for what you get. The lattes are very good and they even decorated the foam! The bbq rips were so tender they fell off the bone! And the meals come with a side salad with a delicious vinaigrette mixed in. The staff mostly speaks Spanish though that shouldn't deter you for having date night here. They are very kind and helpful. Will come again!
We came here for dinner, our service was super quick. Food flavorful. Great drink menu. We got $5 Modelo’s but next time would consider a cocktail! Don’t miss out on this spot! Classic South American cuisine done right. Really fun vibes. Welcome to the neighborhood 🫶we ordered the chicken and lomo saltado.
This restaurant is adorable. Feels like home away from home. You are greeted with lively music and smiles. The staff went above and beyond to give us food suggestions as well as checking in for whatever we needed. It’s clean and cozy. The bar is in an intimate nook in the corner and they have the cutest outdoor patio! The staff felt like family! Can’t wait to stop in again. I felt like I was eating at my abuelita’s kitchen.
Great Ecuadorian/Colombian authentic food! Cooked to perfection. Tastes just like home (Ecuador). The drinks are amazing as well. We had Salchipapas, Llanpingachos, Guatita, Bandera Special, & their specialty drink, Canelazo. Recommend every dish, but our absolute favorite was the guatita & salchipapas.
The food is really good and the staff is friendly. Although the music is way too loud and it's hard to have a calm dining experience with conversations.
The food is good, but as a part colombian restaurant some dishes are missing rice... just saying :) also pricy for not having rice, and the attention is strange the waiters really want you to tip big even if is to go and the attention is okay, but it is a sit down restaurant so ordering a quick to go is a process... cool place to hangout
I had the bolones for the first time as a recommendation from an Ecuadorian friend and the carne asada, as an add on as I was very hungry. The bolones and rice and beans were all served cold and very bland. The carne asada saved my meal and was good. Good service and atmosphere.
Place is a little expensive for what it offers, food is average at best, service was great, atmosphere was decent. The chef needs to learn the difference between grilling a medium steak and one that's cooked well done. I asked for medium and got well done but went with it in the end because of the service, the waiter was really nice.
1) Atmosphere and Service I would say is excellent, restaurant decorations are nice and cool. Service is Good, always attentive of customers. 2) Now Food it's OK, and I mean not bad is just Good not Very Good or excellent because to me and the rest of people at my table agreed to same conclusion definitely room for improvement, now portions are really Good. 3) Drinks, we ordered Caipirinhas but unfortunately were too sweet and lack of flavor (passion fruit). So as conclusion I will come back because places like this need support from the community (I believe in that), hoping they improve on food quality.
Invited out to dinner at this new restaurant. Looked busy but sat at a table immediately for our group of 11. Waitress let us know that it was their second day open and to be understanding of little longer times for things. This was comforting but to say it was an understatement would be wrong. Getting anything took at least 5 fives longer than any other restaurant. The fastest thing we got was water which was never refilled as we were there for over 3 hours. First our drink order and that took about 10 minutes to get. Then appetizers which came out 1 by 1. The humitas were lacking flavors but reminded us of a cake consistency. The llapingacho were decent but forgot the peanut sauce not that it would have changed things as when I asked for it later it was cold and flavorless. Looking at the time it was taking for our appetizers to come out panic set it and needed to place our dinner order so we could have it sooner than later. Tracking down our waitress was a task better suited for a bounty hunter as she was elusive as a fox or maybe just extremely busy. They were out of the bolones de verde so I went with the churrasco. It took at least 40 minutes for the first plate to come out. One by one, they were cold including a soup. Also we had to ask for silverware as it wasn't on the table and not even given to us after we received some appetizers. A steak that was ordered came over charred and burnt, not edible at all. I could really go on and on but I'm truly hoping it is because of their 2nd day and unexpected influx of guests that threw them off. Pricing was decent and portions were too. Maybe steer clear for a couple weeks and let them get their bearings before visiting.
Unfortunately, my experience at this place was very bad. The service left a lot to be desired, the food was average at best — leaning toward poor — and the cleanliness of the place was not adequate. The waitress had a careless and somewhat rude attitude; she even ignored my wife several times and only spoke to me, which I found completely disrespectful. As a restaurant manager, I understand how important customer service is, and they definitely don’t have it here. Honestly, after seeing some of the positive reviews, it’s hard to believe they truly reflect the reality.
