This place is a great find. I stopped in on my way to Willard mountain (it is right on the route from Saratoga Springs off 29). The diner is very cute, but fairly spacious. The prices were very affordable and staff were polite. They greeted me right as I walked in and provided efficient service. I went with the open face turkey sandwich special. It was as good as it sounds and more than I could eat. The baked goods are also awesome. I tried a chocolate chip cookie and it tasted homemade and delicious Highly recommend!

**Holy Moses — what a pancake!** It’s huge, delicious, and totally worth the trip. All the food here is made to order, so have a little patience — it’s absolutely worth it. The pancakes are *stellar*, nothing is greasy, and everything tastes fresh. Go support this great local spot! Five stars all around.

I'm not really sure what the story is. But this is Sweeney's. Same great people, same great food. New name, that's about it. 11 months later. Pretty dramatic difference in the corned beef hash. Hard to miss and disappointing. Maybe an off day or new cook. Hope this isn't tynrw norm.

The food is seriously to die for. I’m not even a big pancake person and I recommend the pancakes enough (they’re HUGE). The cinnamon raisin toast was so delicious, home fries were crispy, coffee was delish, staff was super nice - 10/10 all around

Vey good food. Great prices. Hometown atmosphere. Friendly people. Quiet location. Fantastic baked goods. Make sure to ask how they chose their name. You can’t miss the black lab statue as you walk in. A must for Labrador retriever lovers !

I would like to say that this is one of the most wonderful family businesses I have been in. The food was cooked to perfection. The young man that waited on us was very knowledgeable and friendly. We met the owners and were so pleased by their fun yet professional manner. I highly recommend this establishment. 10 🌟

Hello great grandma, grandma, mom, Aunt, and our waiter son!!! We are the couple that stopped for breakfast on Thursday July 30th this year. We are the two celebrating 🍾 our 55th with a road trip back home to Saratoga to see friends and family! We are back home now in Florida but wanted to thank you profusely for a terrific morning having a delicious breakfast with all of you! Your gift of baked goods for the road will not be forgotten. Your kindness and generous spirit will be with us forever. Your passion for the cafe shines!!! I might call to order cookies to be mailed.... I drink from my Mama Bear cup everyday and see each of your faces! Till the next time.....Jim and Kathleen

Came here after the diner in Saratoga Springs had too long of a wait and everyone there should have been making the drive! The family staff was attentive and kind and always giving each other credit for the amazing food. And the food was delicious! Homemade, huge portions, perfectly balanced (the homemade hollandaise over the homemade corn beef hash? We are going to drive back from VT for tomorrow’s breakfast). You may think you can defeat the General eating challenge but the (fluffy, sweet but not cloying) hubcap-sized pancake is formidable. 10 out of 5 stars. More stars than that if I can find them.

You don’t get better customer service than this. My son loves the Nightmare Before Christmas. As we found out, so does the lovely family who owns the restaurant. My son was admiring all of the Nightmare Before Christmas decorations they have throughout the restaurant, and the wonderful family gave him one of the characters right off the wall, as well as a bracelet they had of one characters. These are the type of people you want to support as much as possible. Amazing & thoughtful establishment!!!! We left with full bellies and happy hearts. Will be back!

Our family received a holiday cookie platter from Mama Bear's this Christmas. It was incredible! Truth be told, I'm not really a big cookie person (my son on the other hand can't get enough cookies) and I was beyond impressed by everything I tried. The gingerbread was so soft and a perfect blend of sweet and spicy nobody else even had the chance to try them! The chocolate chip didn't look like how I picture a chocolate chip cookie but these proved to me that my preconceived notion of what a perfect chocolate chip cookie looks like has been all wrong. Don't get me wrong, they were all gorgeous and perfectly identical, but that's what made me assume they couldn't be great. I have never been so happy to be so wrong. They manage to balance beautiful presentation and can't-get-enough flavor that I haven't seen in longer than I can remember. TL;DR These cookies are amazing.

This place is lovely, I had pancake (they're gigantic) with real maple syrup, eggs toast and corned beef hash. I don't think I'll be eating again today I am stuffed. The food is hot and fresh. The family who own and run the diner are very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

This place is the best restaurant for breakfast and lunch. The food is scratch made with local ingredients. Portions are plentiful and the service can’t be any better. The restaurant is immaculate clean. Try the homemade baked goods they are beautiful as well as delicious!

My kids and I decided to try this diner and we were so glad we did. Everything was excellent. The portions were huge and the customer service was phenomenal. The waitress brought over coloring books and even gave my kids a toy and a bracelet while we waited on our food to be done. Their baked goods were also great . I highly recommend visiting this restaurant!

We had a phenomenal experience all around. We were invited in with smiles and seated right away. Our main server (the mom) was great. We came in around 1 oclock and were given breakfast and lunch menus. She took are order right away, and everything came out in a timely manner. We got breakfast and the food was phenomenal. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a hardroll (8.75) and a cinnamon bun (4.50). Everything is homemade. The cinnamon bun was massive and absolutely delicious and the breakfast sandwich was the beat I've had in a long time. My wife got "the general schuyler" which came with eggs bacon homefries toast and 2 pancakes. It was all fantastic and again all homemade. Home fries go toe to toe with any good diner and pancake was HUGE and delicious. Their were 3 other ladys working and every one of them made sure we had everything we needed. They were so kind and amazing....we will definitly be back ALOT!!!

What a good lunch the 6 of us had on June 4th. All had various sandwiches and everybody seemed to enjoy what they ordered. I had a Patty Melt with onion rings. Several got the turkey club and it was piled high with turkey. Waitress was great, very efficient and checked on us frequently. I'm sorry 😐 don't remember her name. All total the bill came to $100 which for 6 is very reasonable.
