Very yummy. 5 out of 5. Very kind ppl. Good prices. Piping hot food which i love. The egg drop soup has that thick custard consistency which makes it superb. I got the lunch special l. It did not disappoint. They got the formula 👏
My favorite, great food, fast service good prices
Best kept secret for delicious Chinese from a family owned restaurant. Service is great and everything on the menu is excellent with large portions. Our favorites are the walnut shrimp, beef with broccoli, pepper steak, hot and sour soup, and cream cheese puffs.
Great food and plenty of it! Was amazed by how much they give you! The guy who waited on us was very nice and even bagged our food up for us. Definitely will be back!!
Excellent Chinese cuisine. Older gentleman managing the tables was super swift on service and the food was served amazingly quick. Egg drop soup portion was so large it split for 3 adults. Food had great quality beef and chicken.
My wife and I have moved multiple times. In several states and countries, we always initiate a local search to find a delicious, dependable, Chinese restaurant. For Clear Lake, there were multiple options to try, and we have happily chosen Wongs Chef to be our go-to source for delicious Chinese food. Excellent appetizer and entree options, and they accommodate vegan and gluten-free needs, which is much appreciated.
My brother just moved into town, and we were looking for a quick meal that wouldn't kill the budget. Check out the serving sizes of the fried chicken and pork lo mein! It's definitely family style here! The flavors are also on point, which makes this quick visit a great one! Now that he's in the area, we have a great spot to check out for good food!
Nice cosy cafe atmosphere clean well oiled feeling of the establishment The person was very efficient and worked very fast. Hardly gave us time to choose but wasn’t rude just fast in his work. Food was served very fast efficiently Soup was nice flavorful Finished Mongolian triple delight was served hot The delicious and spicy cooked with perfection Enjoyed the meal and experience
Do not let the strip mall feel fool you, they have some real deal Chinese food here!!! I live in Kemah and was less than impressed with the Chinese restaurant there, so from now on I'm going to be fighting traffic to cross the bridge to get here. The egg drop soup and shrimp egg foo young was awesome and more than I could eat so I've got breakfast lined out! :)
Wongs is a simple place with good food and a few tables. They won’t win any awards for ambience but the food is good and reasonably priced. I think they do more take out than dine in.
I like onion as much as the next person. But my triple delight was literally swimming in onion. Both yellow onion and green onion and no other vegetables. I got egg drop soup which was okay but I wish it came with fried wontons. I also got the moo shu pork and it's basically filling of egg roll. And the crepes that it came with, seemed raw and cold. The taste for all the food was mediocre at best. The staff seemed friendly and professional. And although I just got takeout, the restaurant itself seemed clean, cozy and comfortable. However, the food for me was not good enough for me to return back.
The food is great but the man who picked up the phone was rude and had no patience and he was talking crap under his breath 0$ tips for now on
I guess we’re being punished for ordering 34 minutes before close. I just picked out a literal mountain of onions from my Mongolian Beef order. I should’ve weighed it before I threw it away. I have pics. It’s AT LEAST a full white onion for one dish. I thought they messed up and put the beef on a bed of noodles but nope.. all onions. Y’all can’t be ripping people off like that. So rude lol.
