Chopstix Seaside Reviews
Good Vietnamese food.the first time I went her we had a pho and a vegan dish, but forgot to take pictures I was hungry. Their pho(1B) broth is really good. No sriracha or hoisin needed. I tried their vegan stir fried ramen noodles (V11)it has a lot of flavor you wont realize there is no meat. The next time we went here we had a few dishes. These are pictured minus the sandwich I forgot to take a picture of it. Fish balls are ok. The vegetarian sandwich was really good and big. The stir fried egg noodles(15) were good. I preferred the the fish balls with the sauce of it.
I miss the bar. Otherwise, the atmosphere is great - a nice, big place with just enough interesting and attractive decoration. Great Pho and spring and summer rolls. Love the coco-taro snow with boba.
The combination Pho is absolutely delicious. I have tried Pho at other so-called traditional Vietnamese food places and their pho isn't as generous and this one. The spring rolls are also great.
The Summer Rolls here are a true delight! The char-grilled meatballs added a unique twist, and the shrimp filling was succulent and flavorful. The peanut sauce was a great accompaniment, and I appreciated the freshness of the rolls. A must-try!
I really like BBQ Chicken Sandwich at Chopstix Vietnamese Restuarant, it's Served with thinly sliced carrots and daikon, cucumbers, fresh cilantro and jalapeno, mayonnaise on baguette bread. It's very delicious. Will be back for next time!
The food at Chopstix Vietnamese Restuarant is excellent! Had the Banh Canh Chay and Veggie Udon Soup once and it was great. Now exploring through the menu and never had anything that wasn’t terrific. The service is nice and the prices are reasonable. I am so used to take out service these days.
They have great food, a clean space with affordable prices. We have been coming to this restaurant since they just opened their 1st restaurant. The pho is great for cold cloudy days, and the rice dishes are great, too. Five spice chicken and lemon grass beef dishes are my favorites.
Large beef Basil Eggplant at Chopstix Vietnamese Restuarant is just $8.99, good price for a good meal and very delicious. This place is so clean and fast service. Thanks a lot!
Best Vietnamese/asain restaurant I've ever been too. Big servings. Super friendly staff! I've been all over the country and this place is awesome! Going to miss their Beef Salad and fried rice!
Cheap and delicious! Food usually comes out very quickly. The interior is actually quite beautiful, and offers a lot to look at. The staff are friendly enough, but not the best. I love the boba teas. 😊
Chopstix Vietnamese Restuarant is very clean, cute and i choose "Spring Rolls" is very delicious, it was Served with lettuce, sprouts and peanut sauce fresh. Spring rolls are fresh rolls not fried. Choose a style: Regular, Shrimp, Pork. Highly reccommended!
Beef Basil at Chopstix Vietnamese Restuarant is very special and delicious. My father and I really love it. This place is also clean and professional. Will be back and recommended for every one!
Authentic Vietnamese cuisine. I'm not the expert of all things Vietnamese, but to me, this place is the real deal. Large Shaken Beef is served with garlic, onions, bell peppers. It was very delicious Highly recommended Chopstix Vietnamese Restuarant!
Small & cozy with a young vibe. Food was excellent, vegetables were colorful, fresh, and tender/crisp. Our request to prepare a dish (5-spice chicken) less spicy was graciously met. The menu had a good variety of dishes to suit many tastes, including vegetarian. There were many interesting combinations of teas, bobas, snows, and slushes. Service was friendly and quick. Prices are very reasonable. Definitely recommended!
This is one of my favorite places to eat, I love their wonton soup. It's been a while so, I think some of the staff have changed... And as much as I love the food, the service that some of the employees, could be better. But everyone is human, and who knows, maybe it was a new hire, so i still give 5 stars. The location is beautiful too. Very clean, and it looks kinda magical.
Highly recommended this place! Summer Rolls at Chopstix Vietnamese Restuarant is very healthy and tasty, it's Served with char-grilled meatballs, lettuce, sprouts and peanut sauce fresh. Summer rolls are fresh rolls not fried. My friend and I really like this dish. Thanks!
Great! Honestly the food was amazing, the sandwiches are the best for their price in my opinion and just makes me hungry thinking about it. There is only one problem, just make sure you got the right order. There are some employees (not getting after them) who don't understand English as well as you. I made this mistake once myself and it was totally on me and my fault. I hope you get to enjoy this restaurant as much as I did! Highly recommend!
Great food. The waitress was very sweet and attentive. She came to check on us after we got our food because "our emotions changed" and she wanted to make.sure everything was fine. My fiance and I were just talking about something upsetting, but it was no way reflected on the food. I thought it was very kind of her to check in-the food was delicious.
My friend and I are really like Spring Rolls served with lettuce, sprouts and peanut sauce fresh. Spring rolls are fresh rolls not fried. Choose a style: Regular, Shrimp, Pork. Thanks Chopstix Vietnamese Restuarant for a delicious meal. We will recommended this place with every one!
We parked in the back and did take out. The Vietnamese Sandwiches were excellent and a great price!! I wish they would consider opening a Chopstix in Santa Cruz!!
Chopstix Vietnamese Restuarant is a good place for a best meal, if you wanna have a good date or a good dine. My friends and I came here and try Lemon Grass Chicken Wings and Chicken basil. They are vey good and tasty. Thanks a lot!
So amazing! My first time eating Pho. The staff are friendly, patient & very helpful. Their drinks are awesome, but you must try the Espresso Mocha Blast!
Best Pho ive had in 24 years....the meatballs taste like theyre made on site (really good!) Best Boba ive ever had...slightly too sweet but everybodys is too sweet.... Great service Very fancy interior, great bargain price....if i could live there i would🤣🤣🤣🤣
Treat yourself to the delightful Lemon Grass Chicken Wings at Chopstix Vietnamese Restaurant. Served with rice, tomato, and cucumber, these wings are bursting with flavor. The tangy and fragrant lemongrass marinade elevates the taste of the tender chicken, making each bite a succulent and enjoyable experience.
Excellent value here. Delicious Vietnamese food and Boba! Affordable to the max. If this place were in my 'hood, I'd be eating here once a week. Highly recommended. The atmosphere is nothing fancy, which is great for casual dining. And the staff is super friendly.
Chopstix Vietnamese Restuarant is very clean, cute. Staffs are very friendly. I chose BBQ Pork Sandwich which Served with thinly sliced carrots and daikon, cucumbers, fresh cilantro and jalapeno, mayonnaise on baguette bread. So delicious, thanks and will be back.
The food was fantastic, and it has a recently jazzed up mom and pop family reaturant vibe. We had the papaya salad ( it was so so amazing - a must get), the salad rolls (great as always, 4 in a serving), lemongrass chicken (super flavorful) and rice and yellow curry (delish) and rice. The mains were really tasty but that papaya salad...so so good. We got one to share between two people and ended up wanting one each! The prices were super reasonable and the staff were lovely. They also have a bar area if you want to watch sports but it doesnt take away from the dining area vibe at all.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Seaside. When it is rainy it I am feeling under the weather I come in for a large bowl of chicken phở. There is a large bar when you first walk in with three large TV’s. Unfortunately it appear that they need some reconfiguring to get the sound right. The dining room has plenty of space. Lots of room for parties of 8 or more if needed. There is lots to choose from on the menu. Lots of noodle dishes (as to be expected from a place called Chopstix) and they are well known for their boba drinks and Thai tea. Give this place a try.
Please pay the additional to upgrade to their fresh noodles. Amazing authentic Vietnamese noodles that amazes me so much. You can ask them to make you an asian edition noodles. The owner understands. They can also offer Americanized food (like rice bowls, fried noodles). I dislike their fried noodles. Too chewy for me.
I had the pleasure of savoring the Spring Rolls at Chopstix Vietnamese Restaurant. They arrived with a bed of fresh lettuce and sprouts, accompanied by a delightful peanut sauce. These rolls are a fantastic choice, as they are wonderfully fresh and not fried. I opted for the shrimp style, and they were a burst of flavors in every bite.
The place had been nicely renovated with dragons strewn all over the ceiling. We caught up with Aunt G for the last time and we had Pho and BBQ Pork Dry Bowl and Fresh Spring Rolls. Love the soup of the Pho. Still as good as before. Yum! Love it that the upgrade is still $2. We upgraded both bowls and were soooo full! Still as good as we enjoyed it years back! Great food, amazing prices. I had the sandwich, she had the beef and broccoli. We had the calamari appetizer as well, it was all good. Bread was soft yet slightly crunchy, meat was well flavored and juicy. 10/10 recommended checking this place out if you're a local!
The mixed fried rice was amazing! Loaded meat, vegis and Flavor! It was delivered so service and atmosphere 🤷♀️
What the Pho are you doing? Come check out Chopstix in Seaside for some amazing food at a reasonable price. These days, it’s becoming more difficult to go out to eat due to the ridiculous rise in prices (almost) everywhere. Chopstix is still within my budgetary concerns and is delicious as well! The staff is friendly. Restrooms were clean. paper towels dispenser was empty, but they also have an air dryer, so the least of my worries. Food came out fast, although there were only two other patrons in the restaurant. We stopped in around 3pm, which is an optimal time for quick service. Their list of boba drinks is extensive. They’ve a lot of different options in case Pho isn’t your thing. And they offer chopsticks and forks without being asked, for those culturally challenged.
I've been back several times now....and it's excellent ....I didn't get a photo of the food last time I was too hungry ....they say if it's good you don't have to add anything and I never do....Food was hot and tasted good ...it's a chain so I've been to all of them. But this location to me feels like the 1st. It looks like it could hold a large banquet on one side but it's not open on that side. A little older but the food was hot and tasted good nothing left to take home 😊
Food is delicious and refreshing. You know when you go out to eat, and leave with a huge stomachache because you overate? We ate a ton here, but the food was so fresh and natural, that there was no upset stomachs after. The boba was delicious as well. Everyone who served us was extremely kind, especially the girl with blonde tips at the end of her hair. This restaurant got me into Vietnamese food, love it!
The menu is really well laid out with a lot of options. They also have Boba which is good. My only real complaint was that the meat in my pho was very fatty and kind of difficult to eat.
Consistent quality and flavorful food. This is a new location for these folks but still putting out great pho. We have visited this location three times before & the previous location over ten times and have always had a great meal at good value. Their Monterey location is also a great stop. I would recommend these folks when in the area.
I came at a slow time. Food came out fast. Service was excellent. The stem bun was good. Also had the 5 chicken spice (or something like that) on the dry noodle option. I was goood ( i was not spicy liked it said, not really an issue tho). To drink i ordered the volcano slush it was good. Only complaint was that it took a while to get my slush. I got it after i got my food..
Lately, due to the Covid 19 and the smokey air from the fires around California, we've traveled to Monterey county alot to get away. Everytime, we visit, our first stop is Chopstix for take out lunch. We usually get Banh Me (BBQ chicken) , spring rolls (ask for BBQ chicken - it's freakin' AWESOME!) and two drinks (Thai tea or Mocha Blast). I really like the flavors and the service is great! parking can be tight. I do recommend calling your order in, if you don't like to wait (when they're busy). I also highly recommend the mocha blast - also add boba to any drink for texture. Will try different items next time!
I've been a fan of Chopstix for years. Lots of healthy options, vegetarian items and delicious boba drinks too. The udon I top notch and I am definitely a big fan of the shrimp spring rolls(fried), when I am eating meat. When I feel under the weather I always enjoy a hot bowl of veggie udon.
Food is very good. My favorite is lemongrass chicken or beef bowls. Service is pretty good if you sit in the tables area. Last month I went with my son and we sat at the bar. Asian dude at charge of the bar saw us and never acknowledge us , didnt even greet us welcome. There were very few people sitting at the bar, so we could see he was not busy. After 5 minutes sitting at the bar and being ignored, we just left. What a way to kill a business.
The servers were very busy, but polite. The veggies in all of our dished were much fresher than I've come to expect at this price point. Neither of my boys liked the tofu in the fried rice, but otherwise high praise all around.
Dropped in to get some boba to go. While I was there, I had a chance to look at the food offerings on the table. I question the authenticity of their cuisine. Fried chicken is neither a Vietnamese dish nor is cucumber soup. Then there’s the unusual use of broccoli in their offerings. I guess the clientele is different than that in the Silicon Valley so tastes have to suite the main customer base. The service seemed chaotic and very seat of your pants. The staff was busy running back and forth, between tables and the cash register. It took several minutes before they finally realized I was standing there. This was just 5 pm when I had dropped in. The place was maybe a third full. The restaurant seems family-run, as a young kid was behind the counter. So, if you’re looking to save a few bucks in the touristy Monterey Peninsula, then this is the place to go. If you use a credit card, the charges are passed onto you. The prices they list include the credit card charges. If you pay with cash, you get a 3.45% discount, per the signage at the cash register.
I might be a little central valley bias, however, for getting food in overpriced areas like pismo or Monterey. This place makes their broth. Good prices, good taste, good kids prices too. Highly recommend
The only thing I've ordered here are the bahn mi sandwiches to go and they were excellent. Roasted pork, crunchy veggies, extra cilantro and the bread was a perfect soft baguette with a little crunch to the crust. I saw some of the other items on the menu come out to the dining room while waiting for my order and we'll be going there to try some of them soon, as they looked and smelled great. The place was busy with take out orders, a good sign. 4.5 stars
This restaurant serves tasty Vietnamese food. We tried the vegetarian dishes on the menu and they were delicious but they contained several raw veggies like cabbage and cauliflower that made my stomach feel heavy. Other than that, the pho was nourishing and soothing.
We always get takeout from here and have never had a problem, but today we decided to dine in and it was some of the worst service I have ever had. We waited for about 20 min to be seated, which wouldn't have been a big deal except there were other couples who walked in after we did and were seated immediately. We decided to sit at the bar so we wouldn't have to wait as long. Waited 20 minutes. No service. No drinks. The server walked by us several times but I suppose the people next to us that sat down after we got there were more important. We left without odering and were told "thank you" on the way out. Don't get me wrong, the food is pretty good here, which is why I even gave the three stars in the first place. If it were just based on service, though: zero stars.
Tables where dirty. I ordered shaken beef with fried rice, this was ok but rice tasted like the previous days rice. My wife had the same but with steamed rice and rice was mushy. Ordered a side of lemon pepper wings and some where under cooked. Spring rolls were good with the peanut sauce, would have been better with peanuts like they used to have. Also I had the large and my wife had the normal serving and their was no difference. I haven't been back to this restaurant for many years, they used to be better
Was very disappointed with the quality of food. The service was not good. The male server gave our food to another customer to where we had to wait longer. The establishment was not very clean either. We will not be going back at all.
Service was great! Rice plate was good, however, combo rice noodle soup was okay. Soup wasn't very hard when served, and the soup taste was okay. They added extra fee when paying with credit card. The restaurant was nice and spacey.
Had a pho, five spice chicken over dry noodle, fresh spring rolls, and mandarin fried chicken wings. Unfortunately there were no standouts in flavor. Seasoning/spice level was low. Noodle portions were good but noodles are cheap. Service was slow. I think they were understaffed as there were not a lot of folks seated. Sounded like they had a bunch of to-go orders.
Great service.. the employees here are great. The food is ok, but i don't like spicy. So i don't order it. I got the pork and vermicelli noodles. Traditionally these are not spicy and safe for kids to eat. This is not the case here. Don't get me wrong. Its good, but my acid reflux us going to be upset
No chopsticks at Chopstix. We were given forks and napkins and the server/cashier said she would be with us soon. She did seem to be quite busy and we began to wonder if we should go order at the register but she managed to get to us after a while longer. We were not asked if we wanted anything to drink but if we were ready to order. We placed our order but forgot about drinks. When we asked about what beers they had, she said she was not sure because they changed all the time. The brisket in my pho was tough and my husband's "spicy" soup had no spice. The basil served to us was crispy/dry but when we asked if they had any fresh basil, we were given a few good, fresh sprigs. The service and food was otherwise reasonable.
We popped in for a couple of bowls of roast beef Pho after a long day. The dining room is casual, spacious and inviting. We ordered from a pleasant person and our food arrived within the expected time. Unfortunately, while the other ingredients were fresh and well executed, the broth was weak and watery with none of the beef flavor we’d hoped for, and the modest slices of beef were overdone, tough, and chewy. The dish truly didn’t hit the mark even as average. There were only 4 customers (including the 2 of us) during our 6-7 pm visit and we observed 2 employees in addition to unseen kitchen staff but no one checked to see if we were okay and the two floor employees disappeared so there no one to share our concerns with or get a remake. We were very hungry so added condiments from the selection on the table to add some flavor. Despite being very hungry, we didn’t finish and left half on the table because it wasn’t worth bringing home, and also the check was just dropped on the table without asking if we wanted to take the rest, clear our dishes, or ask for feedback. It was almost $40 for the two bowls of soup, a couple of plain iced teas, and uncaring service, but they were very quick to collect the funds. I honestly don’t enjoy leaving a review like this but there are other choices offering far better Pho in the area, and we will go there.
Chopstix has a nice atmosphere inside and good service. The quality of the food is average. We ordered shrimp Vietnamese rolls and fried egg rolls. The Vietnamese rolls were OK. The egg rolls were over fried and oily. The fillings were not very tasty. Did the main courses, we ordered noodles with grilled pork, combo stir-fried noodles, bun mi, and vermicelli with beef. The bun mi was the only thing that was decent. The other 3 dishes had soggy noodles. The texture was like the noodles had been sitting in water for a long time. The meats were marinated in the sauce with too much sugar. It is unlikely that we will be back to this place again.
Ordered a bunch of items, my wife was biting into her lemongrass chicken and a few pieces were completely raw. The customer service here is ok but I’m not sure the person in the kitchen is paying attention to the food they are pushing out at insane speeds.
Disappointing, mediocre experience. Some positive elements were present: egg rolls were fried well/served hot, garnish for the pho was all fresh and good quality, service was adequate and reasonably prompt. Unfortunately the pho broth was very thin with minimal beef flavor and bland seasoning. Egg rolls were shameful; filling was 90% cabbage, maybe had three bean threads per roll and if there was more than a tablespoon of ground pork between all five of them I’ll eat my hat. Nouc mam seemed like it was something commercially manufactured and was mostly corn starch. Hoisin sauce seemed to have been watered down.
Food is usually ok but wow one of the short younger waitress walks up to the table and I kid you not tosses the menu and says "here you go" and walks away. Shortly after we had a waiter take her place who turned out to be totally awesome and respectfull, basically how customer service should be. I tipped Reed personally and only hope he didn't have to share with the little rude one.
Service is friendly and boba is sweet but my stomach is sad. 5 meat combo pho came with what feels like a small serving of not-fresh meat and noodles, which were hard in some areas. Most disappointingly is the broth that was not flavorful. Don't bother getting a large size, it's not gonna help. Raised up where multiple pho places were found in a 1mi. radius.
Mediocre pho at best. Many Asian eateries are making $$ by hiding the fact that their egg rolls are minimally stuffed. This place is no exception. Not only were they hardly stuffed, the stuffing had an off taste and they were only 3 inches long. They gave me five, but one bite was enough to warn me to avoid the rest.
They never have ingredients. Some days they have dairy free for the bobas and other days they don’t. They should work on inventory because this happens a lot. Not consistent with ingredients at all
Ordered delivery, calamari is dark, fried in dirty oil, about a teaspoon of oil at the bottom of the container. Wontons were frozen, tastes like Smart n Final. Cucumber salad soggy, the thinly sliced shrimp were likely frozen as well. Was truly hoping for a fresh, authentic treat.
Bo bun hue/ hot and spicy soup: didn't get any mint, cilantro, green onion, or yellow onion to garnish. They put little pieces of romaine with the vermicelli in the to go box.... what?? They had some bean sprouts though haha
Been here twice, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. Everything I’ve had was bland or OK at best. Pho was OK. Beef dry noodles were bland. Nước mắm seemed watered down, but I feel like that with most places. I don’t have faith that I will eventually find something on their menu that I actually think is worth paying for. Didn’t bother with the drinks. Took forever for them to give us the bill. I’m glad so many people love this chain so that my favorite authentic Vietnamese restaurant can stay less crowded.
I had high hope for authentic Vietnamese dishes based on the current ratings and photos on the Google map app. I was disappointed because every dish was prepared with the same sause. Lemongrass (which I could not taste) tasted like BBQ and vice versa. All dishes seemed to be stir fried even for BBQ dishes.
If I can give them a 0 I would totally do it. They forgot my pho and even gave me the wrong order size. I told them and it looked like they just took it back and put it in a bigger bowl. I had a friend who ordered the same sized pho and they told me their pho was way bigger than what I had gotten. I was already upset that they had forgotten my food and gave me the wrong size so I just let it go because I didn't want to create a scene. There was no apology or anything, just here you go, eat your pho. Now, onto the pho, the noodles were uncooked and there was hardly any beef. The broth was tasteless! There was no flavor. I was the last one to get my food and even shared half with my niece and I didn't even finish my pho because it was tasteless. Don't get me started on the other dishes we ordered. They were also disappointing as well!
The service here is HORRIBLE! First, the waiter dropped everything in one stack on our table, menus, utensils, and napkins, so we set our own table. No water was brought out and no drink order was taken. 15 minutes later the waiter asked if we were ready to order so we ordered food and drinks at the same time, water and a tea... 10 minutes later, after no drinks ever arrived, we decided to just leave. The waitstaff was just hanging out at the counter area and the restaurant wasn't even busy. I can't even rate the food because the service was so bad I ended up not bothering to wait around for it. The waitstaff also just wears street clothes too so good luck trying to figure out who might be able to help you out.
We've been visiting this establishment for many years and have always enjoyed it....... until now. We just ordered take out (and we only ordered one dish) and didn't realize that it was wrong until we arrived home 6 miles away. Called the restaurant to advise only to be told that the order was correct. The manager that I spoke with on 18FEB2022 @ 322PM required me to bring the order back for inspection.....As if I was lying 🤥. I get all the way back to the restaurant for her to open the box and say "yeah he made it wrong" and walked away from me. NO APOLOGY ......Really?? Not sure what kind of management style that is, but I'd say it wasn't the most pleasant. At this point I wish that we would have simply gotten a refund because the order is still not what it should be. Please consider training your management to be more pleasant and to apply more courtesy (manners....ie. please, thank you, SORRY WE APOLOGIZE....) We hope that our next visit is more satisfying.
I have been going to 3+years. I do not plan to go back again. The food and service lately has not been the same. Quality of service and food has gone down hall. I couple of times I have gone I have gotten an upset stomach. The taste is not great anymore. They now charge $1.00 for extra condiments, because they give you the very minimal. Customers should not be paying $1.00 for condiments especially when you go in and spend $27+plus on food for a single person.
I'm so bummed. I got takeout boba from here and we ended up having to throw the drinks away. We got 4 different flavors and they all had a horrible chemical almost soapy taste. They were so excited for boba too because we never get to treat ourselves like this. We definitely will never be back.
Had to come back and edit my review. I loved this place the first time. I was really impressed with the food, the decor and the prices. Couldn't wait to come back. Finally made it back, and could not be more disappointed. Food was gross. A lot of it was bland and undercooked. Portions were smaller, which at that point didn't matter. It was so bad no one in my party wanted to eat what they ordered. The automated gratuity for a party of 6 or more in this kind of place was the real kicker. There is a time and place for that, this isn't that kind of restaurant. One of the waitresses was wearing gym clothes 😒 Still pissed that I talked this place up so highly to my family.
The service was disappointing from start to finish. The waiter forgot to provide straws, didn’t bring enough vegetables, and completely missed my wife’s bowl of pho, leading her to cancel her order. On top of that, he seemed completely lost. The food itself was underwhelming—both in portion size and quality—despite paying an extra $2 for a large. To make matters worse, there were unexpected hidden fees. I expected a gratuity charge since we had a large group, but I was surprised to find additional service and convenience fees that were never mentioned. Overall, this place isn’t worth the money—I'd recommend dining elsewhere.
I just found hair all in my sandwich!! I don’t know how much of hair I ate but this is disgusting!! I ordered from here all the time and never again!!
Pre-Covid, awesome place! Post Covid - tripled the prices but food went downhill. Stale veg spring rolls, bland stir fry noodles, etc!! Recently I was at seaside chopstix and was told. They give 2 soy sauce packets and 2 chilli oil per person. So if you’re picking up order for 2 people, you only get it per person. After that, they charge for condiments like soy sauce packets and chilli oil. This is over the exorbitant prices. Pathetic. Went back recently, now charged for packets of soy sauce and little hot oil containers🙄
ordered to-go, and there was a cockroach in my food! Mortified to say the least! Clean it up!
I went in to eat with my family. I Order 3 waters never got them, we asked for chili oil also never got it. I had to get up and ask for it again. Then while I was about to take sip of my boba drink I see this... a freakin roach on my drink!!! 🤢🤢🤢🤢 & all they offer was to take the drinks of my bill. I will be calling the health department for sure.
I've never given a 1-star review, but I regret coming here. The only positives were fair pricing for the area and decent dry noodles. Unfortunately, everything else fell short. The specialty drinks were overpriced for their quality, costing as much as good boba but tasting below average. The men's restroom urinal was filthy. We specifically asked for no cilantro in any dish, yet all three meals contained some. The food quality was inconsistent. The dry noodles were fine, but the soup dishes missed the mark. I ordered chow mein, wonton soup with glass noodles, and udon soup. I found a fly in the udon. The restaurant only offered $5 off instead of removing the dish from the bill, which was an inadequate response to such a serious issue. Service was polite when we were served, but no one checked on us afterward. The wait for just three cooked dishes and three specialty drinks was also unreasonably long. Even with fair prices, the hygiene issues, ignored requests, and poor problem-handling make this a place I cannot recommend. Will neither recommend nor return.
Their doordash menus are incorrect meaning your order will always be cancelled. On DoorDash you can customize but then the store will only give you one specific thing which will be nothing like what you ordered and on top of that the lady who answers the phone speaks no English and doesn’t understand what your saying so she just keeps repeating the same thing. This is both unprofessional and causes a huge inconvenience. I have also ate here before and there’s this woman who has a lot of makeup on, super skinny and she’s always on her phone instead of serving the customers in a friendly and professional way. Not sure what’s up with this location but they need some big adjustments.
Young lady at the counter is rude and talked to me in a very condescending tone. To make things worst she served me my fried banana with no ice cream, when asked about the ice cream she had the nerve to ask “I can add it if you want it”. Why would I have to ask if that’s how the dessert is described in your menu. Won’t be back👎
This place does not deserve a star at all. If I can put 0 star I would definitely put a no star. Called to see if they were dinning in and the lady told me no so I decided to order for to go. Got there exactly 15mins and my pho was cold. Hard noodles, uncooked meat and half of a half shrimp. Very disappointing! Even my basil still look fresh as if it was in cold broth!
