Brew Brothers Sebastopol Reviews
They are an undiscovered place that makes the very best hot matcha latte in town. I love it there.
Great drinks, friendly helpful staff. Great spot to get some work done. Edit: would come back more if the internet works better!
In a time with only a couple of places left that really feel like old Sebastopol, this place is such a welcome addition. Locally owned by a great family, really good coffee, more about the community and atmosphere than a sleek aesthetic like so many coffee shops in town these days. Open early, and great breakfast food!
I was visiting Sebastopol and stopped at Brew Brothers for coffee. The lavender latte was delicious. It’s a tastefully designed, clean environment with a small outdoor patio, WiFi, and nice staff!
Love the coffee, food, and staff here! It's a daily staple for me. Try the cold brew! It's phenomenal
Very nice location. I really enjoyed the vast menu and the employee that makes the coffee at the front counter. He makes and very good latte and is extremely polite and kind. Good espresso, my only suggestion would be to put on a Spotify playlist in the background.

Decent solid coffee. Clean. What’s not to like in a coffee spot? Even better, it’s not a chain.
Can't arrest to barista skill as a simple drip type of guy but Avid is good beans and their drip tastes as expected, no major cleaning or water issues I can taste. It's always dead, like drug front level of empty, so not sure how they are staying in business, but works for me. Can always get quick (if aloof and disinterested) service. If you're trying to remote work maybe the sterile vibe doesn't work for you. The deluxe breakfast sandwich is the best I've had in town, actually made rather than just prepackaged. I'm all over some egg, cheese, bacon and avo!

I’ve come to Brew Brothers a few times since it opened, every time expecting it to get better, and it never does. I used to go to Avid all the time to get coffee and lunch while working on my laptop, loved the atmosphere and location. At Brew Brothers, the breakfast sandwich is not good, staff just sits on their phone, and the wifi is very inconsistent.
Off the mark. Posting here so owners and staff are incentivized to do better. It doesn’t matter if people are nice enough when the product is suffering; it’s not hard to make a really good cup of coffee. When the cafe was Avid, I considered it the best coffee shop. The coffee is the same but tastes like cutting corners. Disappointing. The space, inside and out, isn’t being maintained with a sense of pride. Employees on their phone is not a good look while products look disheveled. I have gone back every so often to see how it’s evolving and feeling disappointed, I’m writing this review to encourage improvement. Owners will know when they’re getting it right because the case will be bustling.
I had not realized this was no longer Avid. I ordered a medium cappuccino, which I have ordered at numerous other establishments, and they could not make me one. They only make 6oz cappuccinos, according to the girls at the counter. How hard is it to make a medium or large cappuccino? Other shops have figured it out.

We needed to do college homework and were excited to go back to see what the brothers had done with the place since acquiring the AVID location. There is still AVID signage and dusty AVID merch on the shelves. Upon first walking in, we noticed that several of the floor tiles are broken and a tripping hazard. Behind the counter is partially demoed and the employees were keeping their drinks and food on the counter. We tried to connect to the WiFi, which was slow and unresponsive. There is no music and no vibes! We ordered a vanilla latte and a pumpkin spice latte. They had three young adults working on the espresso bar, and they were very confused on what order tags they were making. The vanilla latte was an extremely sweet cup of whole milk. The pumpkin spice tastes like burned oranges? We ended up getting a refund and leaving. I really hope to come back in the future and I hope there are some improvements!
Friendly girls, family owned and operated. Location of 3 great coffee houses over the last decade. 2024 award for marginal coffee, and consistently unreliable to dysfunctional WiFi
