The place is well-presented, with modern furnishings, a youthful atmosphere, and overall a clean and tidy atmosphere. 10 stars for the staff. All the girls, dressed in uniform, welcome you, polite, and make you feel at ease. The selection of brioches and donuts is vast, with something for every taste... from classics to innovative options like Bacio (made in Perugia), KitKat... The brioche's puff pastry is fragrant and not particularly greasy, easy to digest, the filling is delicate, and the sugar doesn't overpower the other ingredients. For my taste, the filling is almost too much for the size of the brioche. I like the taste of the puff pastry lingering in my mouth afterward... but it's just a matter of taste. Overall, I recommend the breakfast; the macchiato and cappuccino, served piping hot, are also good.
Super..
Ok
Excellent croissants with a wide selection of flavors, from classic to more original (Bueno, Raffaello, Galak, ricotta, mascarpone, pear and chocolate, etc.). There is no table service. The atmosphere is cold and lacks personality. High prices. The brioches pictured (pear + chocolate and Galak) cost €2 each.
The brioche is truly delicious, I've never had one so good, no complaints... The price seems a bit too high, but given the high quality of the brioche, I can understand it. What's unfortunately not at all positive is the staff. The atmosphere is too dull, the looks are too serious, you can't quite tell what they're trying to convey, and above all, the service is lacking enthusiasm. I'm convinced that service with a warm smile and a more pleasant and enthusiastic welcome makes the experience much better.
Breakfast with brioche is always excellent; they're truly unique and unbeatable! The ginseng I ordered, however, was full of sugar I hadn't asked for, and I didn't like it at all. It's also a shame about the lack of adherence to safety measures; I saw many customers leaning against the counter without being reprimanded by the staff and without being properly disinfected. The same goes for the table we sat at (it was still visibly dirty from previous customers).
Well, let's start with the fact that spending €8.20 for two cappuccinos and a croissant is a steal. The croissants were so full of cream that they were disgusting. It seems excessive to me €2.80 for a pistachio croissant is fine, cappuccinos thrown there on the table without the slightest smile. And then the price, not even in the center of Sanremo have I paid that much. No, no, failed.
UPDATE 04/2025: Unfortunately, it's declining. Now, even when you sit at a table, you have to get a receipt first, but other than that, prices are skyrocketing... two cappuccinos and two croissants €7. The galak croissants were decent, but the chocolate on top—the flakes—were not galak, but white chocolate, and not even that good. UPDATE 12/2024: I think there's a staff shortage... Other than that, the croissants were good and the cappuccino was well-made. Breakfast for two €7. UPDATE 09/2024: 2 cappuccinos 1 latte macchiato 1 iced latte 5 croissants Total €15.10 Table service was not available. UPDATE 03/2023: I think they won't see me again for a long time... Breakfast for 4 outside, €4 table service... crazy. Almost €15 for breakfast. Too much. UPDATE 12/2022: Goes from 5 to 1 There's no way we're arriving in the morning, the place is still empty. We sit outside on the veranda and wait... wait... wait... wait... and guess what? We wait some more! Meanwhile, the inside of the place has filled up and everyone has been served, except us outside! After the interminable wait, the owner (I think) notices we're outside and signals to a waitress (there were 3 people inside including her and no one had noticed us outside in the cold). Anyway, they take our order, and the waitress serving us was very irritated, maybe not because of us but for something else, but in any case, her tone was that of someone angry about something. Then I go to pay, and the girl who runs the counter, I think the owner, makes me pay as if nothing had happened, chats with her colleagues, and doesn't even bother to say thank you, goodbye, or anything else... In short, courtesy isn't the order of the day, nor is customer service! UPDATE 11/2022: Always excellent! Prices have gone up, two brunches and two cappuccinos for €7. It's starting to get too expensive! UPDATE 09/2022: Everything is still very good! I noticed they charge for table service. I don't know if it was like that before and I didn't notice, but I honestly think it should be included... UPDATE 06/2022: The quality and service have improved; the croissants are now good, well-filled. Now it deserves 5 stars, even if the price is still above average! FIRST REVIEW: Let's just say I expected something a little better, but it's definitely worth a visit to make your own assessments! The croissants make a big splash, but overall, I was a bit disappointed... unfortunately, the prices aren't exactly cheap either... The service isn't up to par either. I found my table with other cups on it and had to ask for it to be cleared. One of the croissants was the wrong one, and before they served me, they wanted to leave me some croissants ordered by another table... it can happen, but based on the reviews, I expected better overall.
I go in for an aperitif, and with a puzzled look the girl asks me, "Are you alone?" as if having an aperitif alone were forbidden. (She asks twice.) I answer, "Yes." I'm told there's no table service, so I grab my Coke Zero from the counter and sit outside. In no time, a couple arrives, and table service is offered instead, ordering a fruit juice and something else. Embarrassing. But aren't the rules the same for everyone?
€8 for two breakfasts, including a freshly made, COLD brioche. The chocolate was taken out of the fridge and placed in the brioche. €8...
I went today to buy two croissants. I used to come here often, but then I started preferring local bakeries with much better products and prices. Alas, today I didn't have a car, and it was the closest place. €2.50 for a frozen croissant is already absurd, and I'm left with an additional €1 for asking for a box. As the cashier, perhaps the manager, said, you pay for the service, but you have to say so and avoid these unpleasant surprises. There's a lot of competition out there, and there are some excellent places in Seveso. If you treat your customers poorly or aren't honest and transparent with them, they'll make different choices! I should add that I politely asked for an extra euro, and the rude response about the service being paid shows a lack of professionalism. I would have paid for the box if the person at the counter hadn't been so rude, especially considering they'd already dirtied it. A little kindness and the ability to communicate with people wouldn't hurt. I used to do this job too, but when I got tired of it, I changed. I read the reviews before coming, and unfortunately the negative ones aren't lying. What a shame!!! Obviously, I won't be going back.
