Hasty's Shamrock Reviews
The food here is amazing! I had an order of their jacrispy’s and they had the perfect amount of cheese to jalapeños, they were smothered in bacon which makes everything 5 times better, their employees are always friendly especially Micah! Thanks Marjie for the excellent food in town!
Eat here! Food is fresh and delicious. The employees are friendly and charming. Easy access off the freeway. A little gem of a restaurant in Shamrock TX
Thank God for this fine establishment. We highly recommend the Pulled pork fries and peach cobbler. I also got a good bacon cheeseburger. I’m sure everything on the menu is good. Staff is polite and prices are reasonable! We were just passing through but would definitely come back in a heartbeat.
nice small town restaurant right off i 40 great food. if going through Shamrock skip the fast food and try it out.
Awesome experience! I went looking for soup because I'm sick, and the lady's that helped me where so freaking nice and helpful! And the soup was super good 👌 👍 😋!
Amazing food and great service. Would definitely recommend! We will definitely visit again.
The service was great. We didnt wait very long before our food was ready. The staff was extremely helpful. We werent expecting the amount of food for the low prices. Over all we were happy and full. Good job Hastys
This is an excellent stop. Morgan was super helpful and that means a lot. I am traveling with my crew of 11, which includes some picky kids, and every single thing we got was absolutely wonderful. We were treated like family. The employees were super friendly and kind. The place is clean and very well managed. Yes, the cups are foam to-go style, as are the utensils and plates, BUT the food is absolutely on point. They have a homemade ranch that is top notch, and I am not even a huge fan of ranch. Burgers are hugs salads are large and filling, and the tex-mex burritos and such are the best. You will NOT leave disappointed and certainly will not leave hungry. This place is the place to stop. Do not bother looking anywhere else. This experience was more like stopping at that one aunts house that loves to cook, and she whipped up a feast for everyone. They even gave the little kids some free cookies as a parting gift.
MUST TRY! I absolutely loved this little diner! Everyone was so fast and friendly here! I love that they have the history on the walls. From a warm greeting to a perfectly done burger, we were in and out in 30 mins! If you get a chance to stop there, you should! Small town, amazing food!
CLEAN, CUTE, and COUNTRY! Such a great little cafe and service! We stopped in while traveling down I-40. My husband and I split the club sandwich and onion rings. Best club sandwich I’ve ever had. And really great onion rings. I told my husband every time we pass shamrock, we’ll be stopping.
This was a great local owned family restaurant. First its very very clean. Loved the atmosphere Morgan was very helpful in selecting local favorites and giving us an update on travel in the area. Being from the "North" I couldn't pass up fried okra and the chicken fried steak sandwich. I wish we had more time because dessert looked wonderful. Will definitely stop here again when passing through.
What a delicious surprise! The taco salad (with breaded chicken & ranch) was so fresh and tasty. The chicken bacon ranch sandwich had a slice of grilled ham and bacon on it and was delicious! The conchos were also good - the meat was moist and well flavored. The cheese on the bacon cheese fries was like jar queso, but actually not bad and the bacon was fresh and not just bacon bits. The service was Very fast (about 6 minutes for everything) and the girl at the counter was extra sweet. We were not disappointed at all, and this place will be a new regular stop on our road trips west!
Friendly staff!! Hamburger & Philly Steak Sandwich were good, but not special. The onion rings were frozen & tempura batter is not our favorite, but they were good. Casual diner atmosphere. Didn't try the ice cream, shakes or banana pudding, but I heard others ordering them as they received many phone-in & drive-thru orders while we were there.
The reviews I read are all good. We popped in for dinner and got lovely friendly service from everyone. Food was quick and tasty. Onion rings are the best I had. Pulled pork delicious. Very reasonably priced too. The place was nice and clean. All food is brought to you on polystyrene plates so it's all very clean and the plates don't cool your food. Our waitress McKenzie was fabulous You can't go wrong here 😊👍
The food was tasty and came out very quickly - my wife really enjoyed her shake and burrito. My steak fingers were exactly what I had hoped for, though the gravy was a bit on the mild side. The staff was cheerful and friendly. There was some of the "we say under god, salute our flag, etc." signage around the place, so take from that what you will.
We stopped in Shamrock to see some of the old Route 66 sites. We wanted more than fast food. The food was really excellent. We both got burgers and fries and split a chocolate milkshake. I miss going to restaurants with Covid! Covid protocols were nonexistent; none of the workers or patrons had masks on. We ate inside at a table far away since no one else was eating inside. They also had a drive-through, which was a good option. This was in early April, before a lot of people were vaccinated. It probably isn't a problem now.
We stopped here on one of our many yearly trips through Shamrock. We had BLTs, cheeseburgers, cherry limeades and fries. The service was friendly/personable, the food was fresh and delicious. It was probably the best BLT I've had in a restaurant, honestly - full of real bacon, not the flimsy microwave looking stuff, lol. It took a little while to get our food but but they were swamped so I understand why. I wish they had more than one table for bigger parties - we had to split up into two booths so that was a bummer. All in all, it was just good old fashioned diner food-- much better than any fast food option in Shamrock and less expensive too. They also have a drive through!! We will DEFINITELY be stopping here on our next trip.
