Food was well prepared and tasty. Enjoyed the outside seating with the fire pits and Adirondack chairs. The chocolate brownie with ice cream was a great desert as well as the strawberry shortcake that had a delicious light and fluffy cake. I nice little gem we found.

It is almost self serving. Seating is spacious. The staff is friendly. The menu is simple but the food is great. The clam chowder is more than great with lots of clams. The salad is very fresh. The BBQ is decent. Both quality and quantity are good. Price is a little higher though.

Just checked this spot out for the first time, and suffice it to say… I will definitely be back!! I got the classic Cape Burger and my boyfriend ordered their Lobster Roll. When I say I LOVED this burger so much… I need to know what sauce they used! My boyfriend also loved their lobster roll and appreciated how big it is. Both meals came with their salty, sweet fries, as well… so good! Aside from the food, the staff was friendly and the environment is so chill, vibey, and great for families! They even have a cute little lighthouse and sandbox for kids to play in. Once the lights went on at night and they turned on the heaters, it created such a cozy atmosphere to hangout and watch the sunset. Highly recommend!

This place was an absolute hidden gem! We were driving from Cambria to Santa Barbara and decided to stop in Pismo Beach for a quick bite. We had the fish and chips and the lobster burger. I can’t decide which one was better. The portions were generous and super juicy. We also met the owner who was super nice and made everything to make us feel right at home. We also had our dog with us and set outside in the patio, which has heaters and made the stop there even better since the weather was turning. Would definitely go back there if we are ever back in town.

Great happy hour vibes! Happy hour is 2pm - 6pm everyday. Can’t speak much to the food - besides the fries which were 10/10 - but the beer selection is extensive. I enjoyed each that I have tried. Atmosphere is very casual. Their front patio has plenty of tables for any group size. Would recommend coming here after a walk in Shell or hike in Pismo Preserve.

Wow. This place is a must. My family of four went to eat, and we all ordered something different. Everything is so fresh, tasty, and great quality. It has been awhile since I left a review, and I knew this place deserves one and I'm still sitting here! I promise you won't be disappointed. There is a play area for kids on their patio along with a small golf area. Also, the patio is pet friendly. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and provide a relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back here to eat!

Shout out to Olivia for making our experience so nice! Lovely location for outdoor dining. The carnita tacos were delicious as well as the shortcake. Plenty of shade on a sunny day. Really nice area for kids to play which is separate from another outdoor dining area. Really appreciate all the nearby free parking. Will be back!

My wife and I stopped by in our way to Pismo just to have a quick lunch. The service was great and friendly. I ordered the Tri-Tip sandwich and my wife had the lobster roll, in addition some guacamole and chips and fries. The food was delicious. I didn’t even needed the BBQ sauce that comes with the sandwich because it was well seasoned and my wife praised the lobster roll. We will definitely come back. If you are traveling around Pismo beach give them a try I’m pretty sure that you won’t be disappointed.

We had such a wonderful experience at Cape Cod Eatery & Taphouse! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional—our server, Hailey, was friendly, attentive, and truly made us feel welcomed. The food was delicious, and we were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary desserts, which were such a thoughtful touch. What really stood out was the kindness shown to our dogs. They even brought out complimentary meat patties just for them! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. We sat around a table with a fireplace in the center, which made the whole experience feel warm and relaxed. Great food, great service, and a beautiful setting. We can’t wait to come back!

It’s Friday night and it was just cold enough that sitting under the heaters just felt perfect. The food came out in just the right amount of time. We were able to squeeze in a game of corn hole with my son. Brought the family including the dog and it was a great experience…food atmosphere friendly service! California burger was mash, my son said the chicken strips were the best he’s had and my ladies poke bowl looked insane!

I ordered the grilled fish tacos and they were delicious!! My husband and dad ordered the beer battered fish and it was phenomenal. My mom ordered a chicken salad and she loved it. We have been here a handful of times over the years and the food is always amazing.

My family had dinner here for the first time since taken over by Old SLO. It was a great experience. The staff were super friendly, the food is always amazing, they checked in on us and got additional condiments. It was great.

Excellent restaurant with generous portions, plus it's kid-friendly. Something for everyone. Great that there's also iced tea and strawberry lemonade options for drinks. Eat here or get it to go and eat at Dinosaur Caves Park about a 10 min walk away.

I come here a few times a month and the atmosphere is always wonderful. Sometimes I order ahead or to go orders but either way the food is amazing. During my last visit the chef actually came from the kitchen to check on me personally. I've never actually had that happened to me at a restaurant unless I was making a complaint or something. If I remember correctly his name was Yesa. Amazing customer service and great food per usual.

The fish is awesome very good. The fries were ok I thought they were baddered last time my wife and I came last time.

Great atmosphere with amazing food! They have so many choices, and the new BBQ menu is awesome. We love coming here because there's always something for everyone's different cravings. However, food service is often slow and the ice machine is usually empty by the end of the day... Sometimes orders are put in wrong and have to be sent back. Overall though, Cape Cod is always a solid lunch or dinner option!

Absolutely outstanding! The salmon plate was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Yesa also made us a fresh granny cake that was incredible. Everything was delicious, and the service made the entire experience even better. Highly recommend!

There’s one girl working at 6:30PM on a Friday night. There’s a line out the door and she’s taking orders, putting them in, bringing food to tables, everything. People are turning away to go somewhere else because it’s a one girl show! She NEEDS HELP (or a massive raise). I’m sure the food is good and the atmosphere is great, but we went to the Brewhouse instead. Didn’t want to add to her stress!

Food runner with the curly hair was so dang rude to us. We ordered food to go and 1/2 of it came out 10 minutes before the rest, and when the final plate was ready we just watched it sit in the window for a good five minutes white he complained to the kitchen about another order. When I asked for the box he just closed it up and ignored me. I had to grab my food myself and ask for the manager. Lobster Mac was bomb but had some shell attached still and the calamari was good but cold. Cute restaurant with potential!

I really dislike having to give negative reviews, but this place was a BIG disappointment. I went with a few friends to try it out around 5:30pm on a Sunday and the place was deserted. At least our food came out really FAST! But my friends only ordered clam chowder and the "bowl" they each paid for was only half filled, so amounted to less than a cup! They were all really bummed, and left more hungry than we came. I tried their fish & chips and was also sorely disappointed. The fish pieces (small & few) were extremely greasy, and even burnt! Kinda gross, really. The fries were also overly greased & bunt, but I was starved so I ate them anyway, but later regretted it. We were all VERY disappointed!! The patio is really great, and we loved seeing the cute area for kids (separate from the main patio), but we were all so disappointed with the food that we won't be back.
