No idea why this place has such bad reviews at the time I'm writing this review. But this Whataburger is a fantastic place. Never had a order wrong and they are pretty quick at getting my food out. One of my favorites if not the only place I'll go in Silsbee for fast food.

Ask them for lightly salted fries, as I tend to receive the most salt even after I point blank on multiple occasion in various location asked specifically for no salt. My taste buds cannot handle it, seriously. I love the taste of potato and grease, but the oversalting makes my tongue irritated. But I'm a regular, so I never say too much. 😅🤣

Excellent service! I work for ems so we're always quit to get in and out bc we may get a call and have to leave. They took my order as soon as I walked in and started it up. It was ready in such a timely manner. They also didn't charge me until the food was done incase I had to leave. They also didn't judge me for wanting a cup of mustard like literally every other fast food place. Will be back. They should all be givin a raise here.

We visited Sunday, Feb.10 @4:30.Great teamwork by the 2 ladies. 5 ☆'s to the cook for going above w/assisting her co- worker. Oh yeah, and my #1 meal was yummy.

Been here twice already since moving to the area. We always go in and the staff is constantly making me laugh. They are so upbeat yet simultaneously chill. The food is delicious and they don't whimp out on the sauce. The atmosphere is ok. The building is small and seems a bit dated.

Great service. Since all this limited seating, no contact, social distancing etc.. I have been using the Whataburger app on my phone. This morning I ordered breakfast on my way to work. There was a line when I arrived. When I got to the speaker, I told the young lady I had called ahead, she then asked if I needed jelly, or any condiments. Then she said I would not need to wait, she would run it out the back door. I wish I carried cash to tip her, so I decided to give her a shout out. I wish I knew her name. Thank you for always providing excellent service and fresh, quality, made to order, food.

Love this one!! Sometimes there is a wait but always well worth the wait!! Fries are always hot and fresh! Burgers always 100% on point! Clean! Friendly staff! Just all the way around a great little place. My only complaint is the food is a bit pricey but again it's worth it!

This store is small and there is always a wait. But that is no problem the ladies and the one gentleman I've seen working there are fast and very efficient. They all work as a team and they all can do every job. Food is always good and worth the wait. There isn't room for one more working so it's either wait or build a bigger store. But the wait is worth it and they go above and beyond.

My husband and I came here.. hadn't really been back to sit, eat and ENJOY.. we decided to eat in, I'm like oh boy.. we had the BEST customer service and greeting.. I was surely HOMETOWN PROUD of a manager named Jackie (Sells) not sure but anyhoo.. she was so pleasant.. asked if we needed anything else.. her and her team were EXCELLENT.. I felt as if I were in a 5 star restaurant..she also asked how was our meal... SHE MAKES ME WANT TO MOVE BACK TO MY HOMETOWN ❤❤❤❤👑👑👑👑‼‼ On this day I can SURELY say.. this crew went over and beyond... their duties ‼

I love whataburgers wings, and today, I noticed on their app It's National Wing Day. So, to celebrate, they are doing their wings, but 1 get 1 free. I have to say I might not like the way they changed their reward program... but they do offer some pretty good deals pretty often.

While they may be the slowest fast food joint in town they're still the best! Always happy employees and great burgers and fries.. Don't forget the onion rings are my personal favorite! In & out burger doesn't hold a candle to the one the only Whataburger!

One of my go to places for fast food. I can't rate them a 5. Well it seems they like to play smash burger. For some reason they flatten the burger before wrapping. I think they are trained that way. Years ago I ordered a burger and told the manger not smashed. She told the cook not to smash. Guess what. It was smashed. Lol. Manger was embarrassed. Lol. Fantastic frys and some of the tastiest coffee around.

I enjoyed my food here although it was a bit chaotic behind the counter the manager held it together well. My only complaint is that I didn't like watching 2 orders put in after made come out before mine did.

Wait was a little longer than expected(drive through). I got a patty melt with no bread. I would ha e liked a little more onions and the sauce to go on top. Also we paid the same price as my wife's normal melt. I think it should be a little cheaper as I got bread. Just a thought. In the end the food is always good!

I love Whataburger, however this distinct location seems stressful. The environment walking in was flustered. Everyone waiting on food. One person waiting for her onion rings that sat there for several minutes. The worker then had to throw them away and make fresh ones, causing more aggravation. They gave me French fries instead of onion rings. Seemed short staffed.

I used the mobile app/ordering for my convenience. They conveniently made my order wrong. Burger was wrong (No jalapeno's, No onions. I assume since I ordered them grilled they just didn't want to go through the extra effort and left them off. Ordered a #4 so it's not as if the Jalapenos were a surprise.) Had to get my own "extras (condiments/napkins, etc)" which ins't a big deal besides it actually being an option on the app, had to go back to the counter to get my drink (again was part of my online order). Food was also average today. Have your manager walk across the street to Subway and get some pointers on how they handle their mobile App orders.

You get your food but make sure you ask for napkins & everything else you think you need with your food cause they not going to give it to you,I pull from the drive Thursday window & look in bag with food in it no napkins & no syrup for my pancakes!!! Not impressed! The individual taking my order was polite but my order was not right. It was after 11:00pm, they had several cars in the drive thru line, I had gotten off work and had not eaten so it tasted ok. The sandwich was dry and a fried chicken sandwich instead of grilled, I ordered grilled. The French Fries were soggy, tough and cold, the coke had too much of a carbonated water taste.

Service at the drive through was very slow and I had to go inside to get a burger they had forgotten. The restaurant wasn't near we busy enough for that to be an excuse. The food was good and the people working there were friendly. They were very apologetic about the missing food.

We went through the drive-through. We were headed back to Louisiana. This was our first time eating Whataburger. The lady that took our order was pleasant. We did have a little mix-up while ordering, but we resolved it. When we approached the window to get our food, I checked the bags (like I always do when ever passing through a drive thru). I noticed the only thing we were missing was the order of large fries without any salt. We let them know. They asked for the ones with salt back. I didn't understand why because fries came with everything we ordered. We only wanted one extra fry without salt. Fortunately, they understood their mistake and gave us the fry that was missing. They were never rude. I didn't rate the atmosphere because we did not go inside.

Staff too busy goofing off and not tending to the customers as they should really long wait while in the drive thru. I would visit any of the other whataburgers in the area. But the experience here on more than just this occasion will keep my business elsewhere in Silsbee. Staff had to be repeatedly told what I ordered several times before they finally got it right. Don't usually write a bad review but sometimes they give you no choice.

Order carry out on a regular basis. This evening was the first time to see the guy in the brown shirt. He tried to memorize our large order then went to the drive thru register instead of the one in front of him. Corrected him several times before the order was right. While waiting on the order he handled money, credit cards and register and not once washed his hands or put on gloves before handling food.

My Dad loves this place. That is the only reason I went there. The buns are thick, tough and ball up in your mouth. The meat on the Jr. Whataburger is paper thin. The employees are friendly enough.

I literally had to wait FOREVER to get my food. I was the first car in line and they had me waiting for like 10 minutes before they would take my order at the drive thru menu. When I got to the window I sat there even longer... I had already listened to half FGL's new album which has 19 tracks on it before I got my food and that's really long. It was the most unnecessary wait ever. I seen cars behind me stack up and leave the line. I would've left too but I had already paid at the window. The worst part is I seen employees sitting around doing nothing while one person worked. This employee probably had so much on her mind, she got my stuff wrong. I asked for 6 ketchups and she only gave me 4 for 2 meals but that's okay. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because the food is amazing. The wait on the other hand, they could care less if you're left there waiting for an hour.

It is becoming a common occurrence that when I stop for a burger, by the time I get home, which is less than a mile away, my burger is COLD. While waiting in line, they must be preparing the food and are letting it sit there as I am waiting. Getting to where I don't want to go there.

Drive through wait was 20 min with just one vehicle in front of us. Got to window and no one was there for 5 minutes. I'll never use this drive through again...They were out of the mushroom swiss burger which is my favorite. Got a whataburger and the patty was flatter than a pancake. Got a grilled cheese for my toddler and the cheese wasn't melted. The bread was toasted but cold.

I love Whataburger and have visited many of them throughout the South. This location is one of the worst. I order in Lumberton (10miles up the road) on the app and drive right past this one to get food and most of the time it is quicker even with the drive. It is not a clean location, even after closing to "deep clean" from a Covid scare. To top it off there are several rude employees at this location, I have been told multiple times that they are short staffed and I just need to "wait" when I put in a mobile order 15 to 20 minutes ahead, get to the restaurant and there is no one in line. If your in the area save yourself some grief and drive the extra 10 miles to Lumberton.

It's something to eat. The food is just ok. Do not buy the sweet tea. Tasted like they never clean there machines. NASTY! Had to go in there and trade my sweet tea for some powerade. I'm trying to cut back on drinking a lot of soda.

When do you guys get your shipments? You guys have been out of salads for almost a month. Drive through girl rude as ever. Cant get a salad. Cant get a dr pepper shake. Cant cook a burger all the way. Fries are ice cold. Cant get food out. It takes 45 minutes. Out of half the stuff on the menu. Always have an attitude. You guys get more and more disappointing as each day goes by but you don't care because you still get paid. That's a shame. After reading all the other reviews, you guys just need to shut down until you can get your stuff together. But of course you won't.

Come by at 5am, one person in drive thru and I’m in line as well! Took 26 minutes to get my order! Super slow! Wife and I went and order in the drive through. The woman working the window got everything wrong and when corrected got an attitude and was very rude. I asked for the manager and her name which was met with refusal. On the upside drove 8mi to Lumberton order was right, professional, and still got the manager and employees name. Guess the joke is on her.

The chain out to be called, "Whatascrewjob." Greasy, tasteless, low grade meat; I hesitate to believe it came from a cow. The buns were lifeless, doughy and had the flavor of paper. I've been to 3 different locations in 3 different states and the only things that are consistent are lack of taste, lack of appearance and lack of customer savvy for what a burger is supposed to be about. Never again.

Was very disappointed with this Whataburger in Silsbee, Texas. We ordered two separate salads. It took over 30 minutes to get our salads. Then my sister had to get up and ask what was taking so long get our salads. Both of our salads were sitting under the heat lamp for French fries. The crispy chicken tasted like the restaurant needs to change the oil. We were very disappointed with the Whataburger in Silsbee. Definitely will not go back to this location.

We walked into whataburger in silsbee. No one greeted us. My wife had time to go to the bathroom and when she came out asked if we had ordered yet. I told her you can't order food if no one greets you or asks you what you would like. I then realized we weren't getting any service so we left and went to lumberton to eat. I am very disappointed as whataburger(beaumont) has always been very good.

The food was ok but the service was terrible. We came in at 10:00 pm and every employee ran to the back room in the kitchen and hid from us when we walked in. I loudly asked three times if they were closed with no response from the employees. They thought I left so one person snuck out and I asked them if they were open and they finally said they were. The whole time we were there they were in the back rolling their eyes at everyone who came in.

The Assistant Manager, Ashley, was very rude. The employees, besides the cook, were more interested in talking to each other, than the customer. Will Not return. Oh, they’re also very slow. So make sure you have a lot of free time if you want to eat lunch and/or dinner.

Don't leave without checking your order. First off they couldn't find our order on their screen then they said I ordered the sweet and spicy burger and I didn't I asked for 2 mushroom burgers with one only having meat mushrooms and cheese on buns and they put sweet and spicy sauce and mayo on the burger. They were not friendly at all.

Understaffed, and piss poor management. Kid said he was 21. No life skills to be a manager. Need to be pulled and properly trained. Then if not able to full the role of a 35 to 45 yr old then fired. Just sad.. waited 45 min for my order that I paid well for to get an order that was less then. Just terrible line order cheking. @whataburger do better.

I have been to this Whataburger a few times. (it's closest to where I live) Every time there is an issue. I've reported to manager when an employee told me to go somewhere else bc I was upset that we waited over 30 minutes for a shake. Last time we went, we ordered 2 chicken biscuits. After over half an hour and about 5 cars behind us getting their orders and leaving, I went inside. They did not even see my order (even tho I already paid and had my drinks) There are some real issues with this location.

At the drive thru, today, April 10th at 4:45. I don't know the kid who was working at the window but he was absolutely ridiculous. Couldn't take our order after trying 4 times. A lady had to come on the intercom and do it for him. He was completely rude. Got to the window he started shoving drinks at me that weren't closed all the way. Were spilled all down the sides, soaking wet. Wouldn't give me paper towels even when he saw me struggling with the drinks going everywhere. Then he wanted to say "excuse me" like I said something to him, rudely, scarily, and told me to just pull up to the spot as he rudely mumbled and walked away. Oh, and the order was almost completely wrong. 1 burger out of 4 meals was right. Absolutely horrible. This child does not need to be working with the public if he can't do it and wants to get an attitude with customers for their mistakes. We will drive to Lumberton before we ever come back to this place!!!

I ordered two basic combos which ended up taking 26 minutes to receive. We were apparently waiting for the chicken sandwich which takes 10 minutes or so to heat up/cook. Fine, but that doesn't explain why it took 26 minutes. Furthermore, when I went in to check on it the second time, they had everything ready but the fries, so that added to the time (because they didn't cook the fries while the chicken was cooking). Given that the food is mediocre anyways, I will never be returning to a waitaburger. I'd rather be hungry.

i waited for an hour to receive my food after paying at the counter. when i finally waited long enough, i asked if it was almost ready. they told me they didn’t even know about the order, so they weren’t making it. once i showed them my receipt they made the food and just apologized. this is ridiculous. the wait times are already bad, but not putting the order in and making me wait for an HOUR is unacceptable.

Don't go here when the sun goes down. They don't have a Manager at night making the kids do their jobs. That's why it takes 2 hours to get soggy food at night. Just go somewhere else if they can't hire someone to babysit the kids at night.

Never waited on Me at speaker. Pulled around and they were all sitting down looking at their phones. I had to wave at one and catch her attention to which she started laughing. When the girl finally came to the window, I told her I needed to order and she said they weren't taking any more orders till the next manager came on.

Never gets orders right, and make sure you have 30mins before you ever pull in this line they will take their sweet time every time.

Ordered 2 #2 meals, long story short, they were both wrong. Everything we didn't want on our burgers was on it. Had to drive all the way back into town to have them fix them. Also ordered a chocolate shake, we get to the window and the girl at the window waited for us to get up there to tell us that "they aren't making shakes tonight." Will NOT be going back, I will drive to Lumberton.

Went to grab a late night burger on 08/09/2024... it was the only item I had and it was completely wrong and cold.. tried to call to get it remade fresh and nobody would answer the phone.. this is "normal" business practices for this location..

Came here overnight. The young white guy up front had a really bad attitude. I ordered #2 after a VERY LONG WAIT by myself. I was given the wrong order. I told him I ordered #2, not whatever # they gave me. Also, tell me why I waited for a very long time to get my order. This is ridiculous and corporate office, or someone needs to be aware of this mess in this restaurant. Whataburger, do something about it!!!!! Fix this place.

Staff can't get an order right yo save their life. Could hardly hear them at drive thru. I like whataburger,silsbee location is truly lacking professionalism, punctuality,and a decent attitude. If you dont like your job at whataburger,go somewhere else.

Stopped by tonight at around 11:05pm. I usually get my order placed, and I have my food inside of 10 minutes (15 at moat if their are cars in line). Tonight, though (Tuesday 1/2/24), I waited well over 30 minutes and wasn't even to the menu to order. I saw plenty of staff inside when I pulled up with only 4 cars in line when I arrived. I work evenings, and this is the only place consistently open in town, I do not need to get home at midnight because of a "FAST FOOD" joint taking forever to even answer customers in their drive thru. I will be filing a complaint both with their management and the Corporate Office tomorrow morning.

Maybe it was just a bad day, but the service was terrible. The only saving grace was one cook who saw how long we had been waiting to order and offered to start cooking our burgers for us before we ordered. The food was fine but the facility was not very clean.

Just went through the drive thru and watched 3 cars all pull away because their orders were not being taken. When I pulled up to the speaker the girl told me I'll be right with you. Six minutes later still nothing. Night shift has went way down hill for this place. It's really sad. There were only 2 cars ahead of me so I don't know what the issue was. I will be getting in touch with corporate about how the night shift is at this place.

We had another person pay for our food or I wouldn’t have sat that long. The staff were not very friendly. They ignored customers. Took 45 minutes to get our drinks. A hour to get our food. They didn’t know their registers. Gave me the wrong drink. Had an attitude with me when I brought up the wait time. Let food just pile up instead of pushing it out. Then made us wait. But when some young teenagers came in 30 minutes after us. They got their food before us because they were goofing off with the cashier. This restaurant used to be better but seems like everyone from the managers to the crew didn’t know what they were doing.

There was a significant wait time in the drive-thru. There was no cover over the order speaker and it was pouring rain. The burger was cold, and the fries were overcooked. The server didn't greet us at all.

Long wait,and the gravy was actual white water.Called to let them know sounded like a party in there.Awful service,slow as heck,and food was not what ya pay for.You would think gravy was simple it was actual white warm water.

Two #2 combos both burgers were still extremely pink almost red inside, I get if a restaurant has medium rare burgers... But a fast food place? Yeah no 30 dollars completely wasted

Waited about 15 minutes this hamburger was horrible..My Mother and I neither one could eat our burger. I think it had been cooked for a while...I will never eat at this Whataburger again. .15.00 wasted
