Beto's Wine Bar & Bistro Simi Valley Reviews
If you’re searching for the perfect local spot in Simi Valley, Bella’s Bistro is it. From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by an atmosphere that’s warm, inviting, and full of charm. The cozy setting, paired with its stylish details, makes it just as fitting for a casual night out as it is for a special celebration. The food at Bella’s Bistro is exceptional. Every dish is crafted with care, combining fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and just the right touch of creativity. Whether you’re savoring a comforting entrée, sharing appetizers with friends, or indulging in dessert, you can feel the passion behind each plate. What truly sets Bella’s apart, though, is the people. Cristina, Armando, Adriana, Cesar, Kelly, Bella, and Nick bring such warmth and energy to the bistro that you feel like part of the family the moment you walk in. Their attentiveness, kindness, and genuine care turn a great meal into an unforgettable experience. Bella’s Bistro isn’t just a place to eat—it’s the heart of the community. With amazing food, incredible hospitality, and a welcoming vibe, it’s the kind of spot you’ll want to return to again and again.
If I could give Bella’s a 10, I would. Food is EXCELLENT, drinks are fire, and the service makes you feel like you’re part of the family. It’s a must-try - date night, girls night, or honestly just sit alone and enjoy the best dinner you’ve ever had!
The best Italian cuisine in Simi Valley. It’s been a while since I’ve been impressed by a restaurant and Bella’s Bistro did not disappoint. It has a cozy and romantic ambiance, excellent cocktails, and they use quality ingredients in their food such as wild caught seafood. Extremely clean (like no dust anywhere). The service was also friendly.
10/10 everything was fantastic! The ambience to the drinks to the food was amazing. highly recommend the fried Calamari, chicken pesto pasta and tiramisu!
First time here and very happy we tried it! Great food, similar menu to Olivio's. Great cocktails made from rice wine. Excellent service!
What a rare find. Don’t be deceived by the strip mall! From the amazing service to the delicious food we were more than impressed with this establishment. The Perch, Sanddabs and chicken parmigiana were so good. The menu is affordable as well, you won’t be disappointed!
Absolutely outstanding food & chef, family owned & take great pride in every diah served. Ambience incredible❣️👍

I have dined her four times now and each time has been wonderful. They have great specials, cocktails are excellent, and the service and food has been really good. Will be coming back 😊
Bella’s is a standout spot in Simi Valley. This is a hidden gem in an area of chain food restaurants. The food is superb and the service is excellent. I can’t recommend it enough.
Valentine Special dinner was excellent! We were seated on time, service was perfect, and the food did not disappoint. Often, for these 'special' event days, you feel herded in and rushed out, but that was not the case at Beto's. The ambiance was cozy and relaxing. They even had a wonderful singer who had an extensive repertoire. I had the Filet Mignon, Peach Pear salad, and Red Velvet Creme Brûlée. I am hoping to find those on the regular menu so I can enjoy them again!
This place is an absolute hidden gem. The food, ambience, service, 10/10. Their prime rib was phenomenal, and the poached pear salad was light and delicious. My only regret was not taking pictures. Definitely recommend that you check them out.
What a hidden gem!! We went for our staff appreciation dinner last week. THE best meal I've ever had! Loved it so much I ordered the same thing 3 nights later and brought it home! I WILL be a regular now!
My first time here. Everything was exceptional if a bit pricey. Worth it for a splurge!
From calling to make a reservation to receiving the bill, the quality of service was phenomenal and the food was delicious. My husband and I have both have worked in the restaurant industry and we felt so taken care of and couldn’t have asked for a better last date before our second child is born! Truly what put this experience over the top was Christina, the owner. She went above and beyond and we were blown away. We will happily support this family owned restaurant for years to come and will recommend this place to everyone.
The food and service at Bella's Bistro exceeded our every expectation. You'll hear many describe this restaurant as a hidden gem. Believe them. From our experience, reservations are desirable and may prove necessary for weekend nights. We arrived at their unassuming storefront location as the first patrons of the dinner hour and were warmly greeted and immediately seated. From this moment forward, my wife and I agreed: If anyone hopes to run a highly successful small restaurant, Bella's Bistro is the template. The ambiance was tasteful with gentle background music at the perfect tempo and volume to allow for conversation. The furnishings, tableware and restroom were immaculate. Fresh flowers and a candle adorned each table. Kudos to the staff for getting it right on all of the above. Though I generally set expectations low for the wine list or bartending at a small restaurant, Bella's features a good wine list and specialty cocktails that pair well with their menu. Of particular note was the superb crafting of cocktails during our visit from the full-service bar tucked in the rear of the restaurant, offering barstool seating and counter service for those so inclined. We shared a nicely prepared caesar salad, while enjoying the basket of varied breads. While refrigerated butter pats were provided in the basket, it would have been a tad easier for us and more appealing if a small container of whipped butter had been offered instead. Our entrees included their homemade ravioli as well as chicken parmigiana, the latter included a large perfectly crafted portion of chicken accompanied by perfectly prepared spaghetti. To say this restaurant knows how to make and served great pasta is an understatement, with their ravioli a choice to be savored. A simple cheesecake dessert topped off the evening. Though the restaurant was full as our meal ended, we never felt rushed or ignored. Service was at all times attentive but never overbearing. There was genuine interest in our enjoyment and satisfaction. We encourage you to try Bella's Bistro!
This place is a hidden gem in Simi. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. From the outside it does not look like much but when you walk inside you can tell how hard they worked to curate the atmosphere. It is a wonderful spot and I will definitely be back.
Great Place to have a nice dinner. Staff was very friendly and made the environment of the restaurant feel as if you were in a family home. Great food and amazing service! 10/10
The food is so good and the staff is very friendly. Prices are reasonable too. I had the jumbo prawns with seafood risotto. It was delicious and such a large portion that I took half home. We’ll definitely be going back

Hidden gem in Simi Valley, and worth the drive from the Valley or Thousand Oaks. Family owned, super friendly and very knowledgeable staff, wonderful ambiance (so excited for the outdoor patio seating this summer) and the food is AMAZING. The specials are great and the staff is great with menu recommendations. Great for a date night, ladies night, family dinner!
Best Sea Bass and Lobster in Simi Valley. My wife and I enjoyed a great dinning experience, walked in and seated quickly. Fun boutique atmosphere, with high quality and great tasting meals. Definitely recommend.
If you haven't been here what are you waiting for? From the moment that you walk in the door, you are greeted with the biggest smiles and open hearts. It's the best fine dining Simi Valley has. The service is spot on. Christina and her crew are always at your table checking on you. The food never disappoints. So many delicious options on the menu. My favorite is the filet mignon in peppercorn sauce it's top quality meat served with the fresh vegetables and mashed potatoes or sometimes I switch and have mushroom risotto delicious. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. Also excellent wine list and homemade desserts. Creative salads and freshly made soups. Like I said what are you waiting for? Call and make a reservation. bon appetit.
Bella's is such an unassuming little spot. Tucked between a laundromat and a closed storefront you would never expect what's inside. It's a lovely, tiny little spot, seating maybe 35 people. The menu is mostly Italian, with an extensive wine and cocktail list. We started with the Arancini and French onion soup, which were both stunning. Absolutely perfectly executed. Crispy exterior and creamy interior on the Arancini with a perfectly balanced sauce. And the soup had a depth of flavor you don't often get from a restaurant, with perfect salt levels and acidity. The mains were a little bit less magical; we had the Chicken Saltimbocca and the Scallops over risotto. I think partially the problem was by the time the mains arrived, we had been there 90 minutes and had started to get full. They pace the meal slowly. I believe this is an effort to encourage the feeling that you can stay a while, like family. But for me personally, it felt a bit sluggish. That's preference though, just be aware. The reason I had to knock off one star is an important one: they lost my reservation. I placed a reservation for an anniversary dinner, which was confirmed over the phone. Luckily, as we went on a Monday, we were still able to get the last table. But if we had planned to go on a weekend, that misstep could have easily ruined the night. Overall, it's a beautiful little gem and much better than a lot of what Simi Valley has to offer, it's just a shame that hospitality snag loomed over our experience.

I was excited to try this place especially after looking at the menu online. I was a little disappointed BUT, I will go back and yes I will update my review after a second visit. I think it was just the dish that I was not thrilled with. I had the the prime rib and it was dry, the potatoes were bland, the vegetables were perfect. Here's the thing, I have perfected prime rib so I'm not sure why I always order it when available. Anyway, my wife had the prawns with seafood risotto and that was good. We also shared the pear salad and we enjoyed that very much. The bread was definitely a highlight, and the drinks were good plus I appreciated that the drinks had holiday themes and flavors. I will say I am looking forward to trying the Chilean sea bass and chicken parm.
