My daughter and son in law took me for brunch on Sunday. My Florentine Benedict did not disappoint. It was delicious and made even more so by the salsa that was suggested with it. Today I went back for the patty melt at lunch. Very good as were the fries that went with. I can't wait to go back to try the country fried steak and eggs! Service was spot on and the owner really cares.

Had a breakfast sandwich which was awesome. Nice load of fresh fruit with the sandwich as well.

It was our first time at Ferretiz. We went based on some reviews. Great service, great food(we had breakfast), and great cafe/coffee shop feel! Biscuits and gravy were delicious and freshly baked! A lovely hidden little gem in Simi Valley!

Food was really good and workers were very nice. My garden omlette (meat added)was filling and home style potatoes were so flavorful. I ordered takeout before work; I'd def return. I'll take a picture next time.

By far… the best breakfast I have had in a long time! Sat outside with my two grandsons. Our server was amazing and went out of his way to take care of us. I wish I had remembered his name. He recommended a Meat Lovers Skillet breakfast. It can to the table sizzling! It was absolutely amazing! We are from San Diego… and if I am ever in the area again I am going back! Highly recommend the food and service at Ferretiz Grill!

Armando is amazing, his food is delicious. He is in need of some good employees right now. He had to close last Sunday because he was short staffed. If you need a job and are reliable, please see him! He is a great guy.

Absolutely amazing service. We wanted to order to go and they were super accommodating. Bringing water and seating us while we ordered and waited. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Great specials, good prices and amazing food. We had the corned beef hash Benedict and the California country Benedict and they were both really great! The biscuits and gravy are to die for.

Ferretiz food is always scrumptious and well priced for the quality and amount of food you get. The owner (I think his name is Armando) is super friendly. A warm kind individual. He genuinely cares about his customers and wants them to be happy. He likes to chat he's a people person. The restaurant is small and quaint and right now they have outdoor seating during covid and they even have heat lamps which we really enjoyed now that it's getting cold. They have the partner restaurant just down the way in the same plaza called Burger Express and they have some good Mexican food, some of the only authentic Mexican food in Simi. We just love both restaurants and we will always give them our business.

This place is a gem. We discovered them on a random Saturday and decided to check it out based on the high ratings. Wife and I both ordered from the specials and we're very pleased. The biscuits and gravy are superb. Food and service are fantastic. The high rating is justified.

Awesome new breakfast spot! Everything was A+. My only suggestions to the owner, do away with the chimes on the door. When someone sits outside it gets pretty distracting hearing those chimes jingling every time the door is open and closed. Your service is so outstanding that the servers are coming in and out every 5 minutes. My number one suggestion though...GET SOME GOOD SPEAKERS AND PLAY MUSIC!!!!!! It's dead quiet in there. You can hear people chewing and talking right next to you. If this place had some feel good music, maybe some Sinatra or Mo-town, even some soft Jazz....it would completely tie the restaurant together. Just my opinion. OUTSTANDING spot. A++++

The Coloradito Omelet for breakfast, its on the chalkboard menu above the kitchen window, is wonderful. If you come a little later, say for lunch, their Frisco Burger and their Tuna Melt are incredible really. Basic food really, but done up with care. Not a fancy place by any means, just really good food, service and easy parking.

Ordered two omelets for take out this morning. I had the Chile Verde omelet, best breakfast ever very generous with the pork and sauce. Wife had the Denver omelet we were both impressed with our meals, will try the outdoor dining next time. "Generous portions." Worth 5 stars any day.

We are always looking for great local restaurants that serve late breakfasts. This place was great....eggs were perfect, bacon was perfectly crispy and the pancakes were good. Highly recommend the power breakfast sandwich!

What i found in simi today... down the street from the gun range... biscuit and gravy Benedict. Biscuit, bacon, poached egg, avocado with gravy and holindaise sauce on top... crazy good. Topped it off with the homemade habanero sauce. Delicious food, clean restaurant, friendly staff.

What impressed me most was the service — the waiter was genuinely kind, attentive, and made the experience feel personal. The place is very clean, including the restrooms, which is always a good sign. I left feeling satisfied and cared for — definitely planning to come back. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a fresh, clean, and warm breakfast spot in Simi Valley!

Today we were craving a great breakfast so I asked my Google assistant for "the best breakfast in Simi Valley" and this was the suggestion. I am so glad we listened. Great breakfast place! We got the meat lovers skillet and the combination breakfast. Both were great. That skillet is a lot of food. We also had great service. So glad we found this place we will be back.

Ordered a Pancake Combo and Breakfast Sandwich. Food was perfectly seasoned. My compliments to the Chef. My favorite part of the restaurant is the syrup dispenser.

I ordered the chilaquiles, and while it wasn't on the physical menu, it was on the Google menu, and they were so sweet and able to make it as they did just update their system. This place is a great new find. The food was so fresh and everything was delicious. We had a breakfast sandwich on sourdough, meat lover’s skillet, strawberry banana Nutella pancakes, and the coffee was perfect. The owner and waitstaff were all so friendly and gave great service. Decided to take a break from the office and grab a good hearty breakfast. Googled this spot and the pictures sold me. Was attended too right away and recommended the Meat Lovers skillet. Although that sounded tasty the Country Fried steak caught my eye and got that instead. It was delicious. The house gravy was really good and the steak was cooked perfectly. My biz partner and I sat for a bit longer than usual and before we got up saw Chuck Lidell sitting at the booth behind us. That was pretty cool as well. For my Simi friends I def recommend this spot.

I ordered my eggs over medium, (which can be very difficult) and they were cooked perfectly. My bacon was not the thin I-HOP style, bacon, it was the bacon that you would cook for yourself at home. It was also cooked the way I asked it for it…crispy. It was a delicious breakfast and I highly recommend that anyone in the area, (or if you are passing through Simi Valley)..then stop and give this Mom and Pop place try. You won’t be disappointed. I will be back!

Soooo goooooood. I’m writing this immediately after finishing breakfast bc it was so yum I had to review. Tres leches pancakes 10/10 Meat lovers skillet with hollandaise sauce 10/10 Breakfast sandwich with garlic bread 10/10 Lovely staff and food comes out hottttt and fresh. Loved it. This will be our new breakfast spot.

Ordered 2 breakfast burritos to go. Was told the food would be ready in 25 minutes, arrived a little early, and food was waiting for me. Service was great, cashier added salsa and utensils without me having to ask. Burrito was hot (temperature), delicious, and hefty. The ingredients were a bit segregated in each bite. For example, one bite was all potatoes, and one bite was all egg, cheese, or sausage. I ended up cutting mine up and eating it like a Burrito bowl instead. Maybe mixing the ingredients in a bowl before rolling the Burrito would resolve this. I'm glad they gave the salsa, it was much needed. Atmosphere is a basic cafe environment. Not a large restaurant, but they were willing to set up additional tables outside to accommodate people who were waiting.

Small place with lots of tables. The food is very good, but they definitely need more help. The waitress has to take your order and bust their own tables too. You really have to track someone down to get more refills. On a Thursday for breakfast was pretty busy. Will try this place again

Nice welcome. Sat us promptly. They have great service too while consistently keeping our coffee topped off Not very much seating here: Inside seating 6 tables that can sit 4 plus 4 tables than sit 2 Outside: 3 tables for 4 Actual Menu was dirty. Need to wipe them down Coffee was bland. Didn't even finish my 1st cup Tried the OJ but it's not fresh squeezed. Tasted store bought. California Omelette was good French toast was better

I was looking forward to trying this restaurant out after reading the reviews. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in the atmosphere, food was mediocre, and service was lacking. I would not recommend this restaurant as there is a much better restaurant a few stores down.

The manager needs to retrain these employees, My buddies and I realized that a comment that was very rude on our receipt. Won’t be returning .

came in for breakfast and unfortunately didn’t have a good meals. The food was greasy, and it was obvious the oil used was old—it had a bad aftertaste that ruined the meal. The coffee tasted cheap and stale, making it nearly undrinkable.

HUGE DROP IN QUALITY/TASTE/INGREDIENTS New ownership somehow ruined the best breakfast in town. Soggy country fried steak way over salted, biscuits and gravy was best in town and now it dry and bland. Patty melt was just not good, Dry/bland burger. I don't understand why owners think they can cheap out on ingredients to increase profit without customers knowing. We know. Sorry I won't be back. FYI burger express has some of the more popular breakfastitems in their original form. It's unfortunate Armando had to sell.
