Absolutely exceptional dinner. Not only the "cuoca" is a master, but all the people in the restaurant are wonderful, courteous, and make you feel at home. They are a true family-run jewel. My wife could not remember a better meal since more than 20 years ago. All the ingredients are top quality, and the restaurant is an emblem of authentic Italian cuisine. This family is an example that many other restaurants should follow. It is highly recommended, you will not regret visiting this Italian gem
Very nice restaurant recommended by the Guide Michelin as Bib Gourmand. Fine tables, home made cooking and a very warm and entertaining service. The food is mostly with meat, and Google translator was less helpful for the Italian menu but the hostess helped navigating. The location seems to foreigners like “middle of nowhere”, but the restaurant was getting full on a Tuesday rainy day.
An excellent restaurant serving Novara cuisine. Impeccable cuisine, attentive and friendly service, and a refined and understated atmosphere. Also noteworthy is the excellent wine list, rightly focused on the surrounding Novara hills, with a wide selection, and on northern Piedmont. Unmissable.

Service, hospitality, quality. Here, all of this finds a perfect expression of Piedmontese tradition. Carefully crafted and delicious dishes, served with skill and care. Crispy bread and breadsticks, a delicious entrée of honey mushrooms and polenta, served with a glass of fine prosecco. A historic venue worth a visit. Come along!
I dont know why I ask for the menu each time. I always choose Paniscia and Frittura alla Novarese...and it's always magnificent...a real treat. The modified dining area is great with large welcoming tables and plenty of space for all of the guests. This restaurant comes highly recommended.
Pleasantly surprised!
It was on a trip from Piemonte to Switzerland when I made the small detour to have lunch at this restaurant. What a fantastic experience this was. Great and very tasty seasonally inspired, local dishes. White table clothes, a tasteful interior design, a great wine list and the friendly personnel - these are all great preconditions to spend an enjoyable time in this restaurant.

Two women run this restaurant. Paola, in charge of the kitchen, serves up traditional Piedmontese dishes with a modern twist. Her paniscia is exquisite! Must try 😋 Emanuela, Paola's sister, is ready to welcome you with utmost professionalism and skill.
