Been coming to Bongiornos for years, this place is amazing and pizza is authentic. A true gem of Solana beach. Come in grab a slice and head straight to the beach or stay in their cozy shop. Staff is wonderful and loves their regulars.

We’re from Buffalo New York and take our pizza (and wings) seriously. Oftentimes we’ll get a pizza on vacation that’s small and unimpressive. Bongiorno’s was outstanding! It was everything the family hoped for after a long day. We’ll definitely be back!

Stopped by Bongiorno’s New York Pizzeria during our stay in Solana Beach and grabbed a large pepperoni pizza, absolutely hit the spot! The crust was thin and crispy, the sauce had great flavor, and they didn’t hold back on the pepperoni. Definitely gave off that authentic New York pizza vibe. Great find while in town, worth the visit if you’re craving a solid slice!

This place has it all, good beer, tvs and AMAZING pizza. This is the best place to get a slice in the area. Pizza Port is good, however this place is way better. Quick service, more options for slices and the beer selection is amazing. Highly recommend this local spot if you are in the area. Plenty of indoor seats and outdoor seating for a beautiful day.

Great pizza. We ordered 3 slices. The pepperoni was top notch. The sauce was yummy. The crust was crisp. Overall darn good pizza. Order at the counter then eat there or take it to go.

If you are a true New York pizza fan and don’t want to drive to Bronx Pizza in Hillcrest, this is the next best thing, if not better. I’ve been told a few times that it is the former owner/partner at Bronx Pizza. It shows. The pizza is top shelf and the customer service is great! Very clean restaurant.

I try to support local spots and call them as I see it. For restaurants who don’t like the review…you can pound sand like a “Cafe,” spot in OB. They love the good reviews, but when a negative one gets dropped…they reply with more bs. What a joke. Anyways, enough of my rant. This pizzeria has an excellent selection of pizza options, however, tonight I opted for the Alfredo pasta dish. The garlic bread was incredible, the pasta cooked just right and Alfredo sauce was on point. Bravo Bongiono’s. Clean atmosphere & attentive service always adds to the experience.

This pizza is delicious! It's so crispy and the flavors are great! The staff is super friendly, the prices are good, and there is plenty of space indoors and outdoors. They sell pizza by the slice and whole pizzas. I highly recommended stopping by here to give it a try. You won't be disappointed!

Fantastic thin crust pizzas and sandwiches! They are pretty popular during weekdays lunch, but usually always have a great selection of pizzas to choose from. Pick a slice and they heat it up in the oven. Generous toppings and great flavor. I'm a big fan of the monstrous sandwiches too. Definitely would recommend giving this place a go!

The crust underneath the toppings were more cracker-like than having a chew, but the crust on the side had a slight chew to it. Not exactly what i was looking for in a new york style pizza. the other toppings though were well seasoned and had nice flavor. the crime scene pizza was a good experience. i wish the bread was more chewy.

Great place to stop for excellent NY style thin crust pizza. I large pizza is $21 or you can pick your favorite 8 sliced of any kind for $28. They also have garlic knotts and draft beer. Staff was very friendly, pizza was good and they have inside and outside seating. Definitely worth giving a try.

I asked for light oil and this is the greasiest pizza I've ever had in my life. It's drenched. Like they dipped the entire pizza in a vat of oil!

I have pneumonia and kidney stones and am bedridden. I ordered a pizza for me today for delivery and it had a delivery time of 60 minutes. I waited for this pizza for 2 hours and when I finally got it, it was hard, greasy and ice cold. I had to keep crawling downstairs to see if it was delivered because there was no confirmation email sent. Horrible experience

Be careful ordering a custom pizza on their website. It doesn’t work and they screw up your order. I ordered a half Hawaiian and ended up with a whole cheese and 🫑. Staff doesn’t seem to care maybe manager was off duty.
