Taco de Pescado Y Camaron ($5.20 each) with fish is incredibly delicious. Every bite bursts with crisp cabbage and bright cilantro, brought together by a lightly spicy mayo that enhances the fish’s deep, savory flavor. Taco Bampiros ($5.20 each) with chicken. This chicken version is also delicious, packed with fresh vegetables, tomatoes, and creamy avocado. Everything comes together beautifully. The restaurant has lots of tables and even a fresh veggie station. The staff was really polite, and we got our order quickly. The only thing I’d improve is cleaner tables and some handwashing paper in the restroom. A bit of table decor would be a nice touch, too. Overall, a great place for a delicious meal—thank you!

Clean counter service restaurant right off the highway. The empanadas were fantastic. They make everything from scratch right in front of you. Definitely stop by on your way through town.

Conveniently located off of Hwy 101 in North Soledad, Ca...I was on assignment working at a radio station tower site when I been looking around for a taquería, and low and behold...I discovered Taquitos Hernandez. Sharing a space with a convenient store and gas station, Taquitos Hernandez offers a variety of dishes such as nachos, taquitos, and burritos( and this is just to start. I sampled their agua de pepino y limon(Cucumber and lime aid) with ice and it was fresh as the Cucumber and lime tasted freshly picked. I started off with a nachos appetizer, and I asked the chef if what I saw through the window was a fresh batch of chicharrones, and it was. Their special of the day was beef short ribs...I sampled both the chicharrones and beef short rib. They were divine! On my pallet today was exclusively tacos! I sampled the asado and the tripas( I asked the chef to crisp them up)...these tacos, served on corn tortillas were stuffed to the brim with toppings. I had 4! Very well served, and the friendliest chef around! I was humbled to have sampled their food and recommend you try them out. Pro -Tip: Taquitos Hernandez also has a catering business so at your next quince or birthday party, hire Taquitos Hernandez for your next event!

Great service, Always polite and greeted. Let me say this was my 3rd visit and it gets better each time. This time I had the Tijuana Style pastor tacos and man, They are AMAZING. Homemade tortillas is the cherry on top of these delicious tacos. My fiancé had a Quesadilla with Maiz tortilla and pollo asado. So good! I am from Salinas and have been living in Monterey county for 20+ years. I've tried plenty of taco places and I can officially say this is the top spot now in Monterey County. No one does it like they do. They also have a variety of Aguas frescas, today I went with Guava and it was so refreshing and tasty.

The place we were going to was closed and we stumbled on Taquitos Hernandez. The order taker was extremely friendly and patiently explained the different plates. The food was very tasty and to us out of the ordinary.

Wow- we stopped here for a quick bite during a drive and had some of the best tacos I’ve ever tasted. The tortillas are hand made, the ingredients are fresh and spices are perfect… so flavorful! The guacamole was amazing- so much better than the guac typically found at restaurants. We got three types of agua fresca and each was delicious and filled with bits of fresh fruit. I can’t wait for our drive back north… already thinking about what I’ll order next time!

Stopped by with my mom for plates of asada and pastor tacos after a day hiking in Pinnacles. Restaurant was closed but their truck was parked right outside. The gentleman behind the grill was very friendly and cooked everything up fresh...was delicious and reasonably priced. There was a very small seating area of just a few tables which unfortunately was right on the street so a bit loud and not the best atmosphere, but overall enjoyed the food and the service very much. Would definitely eat there again. Thanks!

We had great tacos with delicious seasoning. They have many choices of meat, and more options than tacos .Good place for a quick meal immediately off 101. Restaurant and its bathroom were quite clean. It's authentic, not a chain, try this place. It is no frills. You order at the counter, and there are tables and chairs to eat inside.

Excellent Al Pastor burrito. Medium salsa was delicious and the hot was very spicy, but super flavorful. Nice owner/chef making delicious food. Only bummer is a bit of distance from the exit in south Soledad. But totally worth a couple minutes of extra driving.

Oh. My. God. The Quesabirria was incredible. Unsure how this place has so few reviews, these tacos deserve more noise.
