I see the ratings are pretty poor for this place, it was much less busy than all the other cafes so easy to get a seat. The staff ( one waitress) was cranky but I think she owns the place and looks pretty stressed out, however the light bites we had were great! Loved my ceasar salad and she loved her deep fried prawns. Views are nice on the town square. I paid in cash so not sure about cards etc, reviews suggest no cards accepted. Over all we had a nice lunch with a nice cold beer 🍺 😋

I'm annoyed with bad reviews for this place. Service was really decent, food simple but delicious, and price is anyway a relative thing. I mean, you are sitting in the middle of a very touristic place, with a pleasing view and deep shade... for us it was well worth the price. Edit: The toilet is clean and spotless, and payment cards are accepted.

Ein paar Sachen um die schlechten Bewertungen klarzustellen: An alle die es nicht verstanden haben, das ist eine Tapas Bar/Café ! Informeller Service, keine Tischdecken, nichts eingedeckt. Darauf sollte man sich einlassen. Für mich ist das eher spanisches Feeling als dicht an dicht in einem der Restaurants in der Nachbarschaft zu sitzen!

Sehr leckeres Essen, wir waren zu zweit hier. Super Pizza - dünner, knuspriger Boden. Der beste Burrata Salat, den wir in den 10 Tagen Urlaub hatten. Das Personal war unaufdringlich, aber freundlich. Der Aperol Spritz ist tiptop - wirklich zu empfehlen! Vielen Dank :)

Spanische Tapas Bar, auch gut geeignet für eine Pause vom Einkaufsbummel in Soller (Bier/Wein/Kaffee). Zentrale Lage am Marktplatz; nicht touristisch überteuert (Cafe con Leche 2,50 €, Cortado 2 €). Das Serviceteam gibt sich alle Mühe (2 Frauen), ist schnell unterwegs und immer bemüht.

Wir waren zum Mittagessen da. Die Bedienung war super freundlich und hat uns sogar noch einen besseren Platz mit besserer Sicht auf die Bahn angeboten. Das Essen kam recht zügig. Es war jetzt nicht super qualitativ hochwertig, aber lecker und ausreichend. Für einen kleinen Snack gut geeignet, wenn auch nicht günstig. Aber bei einem solchen Touristenstop auch nicht anders zu erwarten. Die Toiletten waren sauber. Insgesamt für einen kleinen Besuch zu empfehlen!

Für ein Getränk ist das Cafe zum empfehlen. Netter Platz mitten in Soller. Auch die Bedienung war top. Jedoch habe ich Calamarar andaluza gegessen und das war leider gar nichts... Preise sind etwas höher, was aber nicht überraschend ist, da das Cafe direkt bei der Kirche St. Bartholomäus liegt.

We went to this place recently. The atmosphere around with town center is nice. This restaurant was open while others were closed after the lunch how and we tried only a few appetizers. My wife liked the sangria and potato brava.. the bread thing was boring, just tomato sauce on it. They did accept card though.

The food tasted good but the prices are abnormally high. 10 years ago it was not like that. The service was certainly not friendly unfortunately. Soller is very beautiful but has become much too busy. Then you can ask whatever prices you want, apparently.

Café Espana is not very popular. While all the other cafes on the beautiful square in Soller are full of people, Café Espana is all most empty. And I understand why! The food is totally overprized and really bad. We paid 12,5 € for half a bag of nacho chips with 5 spoons of ketchup-like guacamole and half a chopped tomato! 15£ for a small moist chicken salad. The staff are kind enough, and the bartender managed to serve a decent Aperol. The food at the other cafés on the square are much, much better and also a more reasonably prized.

Der Service ist eine Katastrophe! Das Essen vollkommen unangemessen. Als Patatas Bravas werden frittierte Kartoffelecken / Country Potatoes serviert. Sich nur auf die gute Lage zu fokussieren ist einfach viel zu wenig.

Grilles salmon was border or with little uncooked rice. Pesto pasta had very little pesto sauce and spaghetti was made is hurry as the core was uncooked. Hummus was good with amazing atmosphere of the restaurant. We asked for the dessert menu and the server never came back. Went and Paid at counter as it was getting late.

Die Bedienung meckert wenn Leute nur etwas trinken, ich finde es ist das Geld nicht wert,neben an war es fast voll

Wir waren eine grössere Gruppe, hatten Durst und Hunger und das Café bot genügend Platz für alle. Beim Bestellen wurden wir aber leider relativ barsch darauf hingewiesen, dass die Küche schon zu sei, um 12:30 Uhr! Geht gar nicht… Kein Wunder, dass da so viel Platz war. Die vier Sterne übrigens für das Ambiente des Standortes am Platz vor der Kirche und nicht für den "Laden".

Entgegen der Bewertungen habe ich mich für das Café entschieden. Leider um etwas besseres belehrt zu werden. Das Personal ist äußerst unfreundlich, ich bekam keine Speisekarte, das Essen wird ohne Blick hingeklatscht. Auch eine Rechnung gab es nicht. Die Pizza war etwas zu kross also auch hier kein weiterer Stern.

Mein „Salat Feta“ einfach nur lieblos und unappetitlich angerichtet und bei den Burgern kann man kaum von Burgern sprechen..... ein Brötchen mit Fleisch und Salat am Tellerrand den man sich dann zusammenbauen sollte .... Unsere Speisen wurden lieblos auf den Tisch ge(worfen) , sodass diese noch wackelten als die Kellnerin schon an unserem Tisch vorbei war. Wir schauen sonst immer in die Bewertungen doch diesmal hatten wir auf ein paar freie Plätze gehofft .... nun wissen wir warum es so leer war.... Die 50,50€ hätte ich gern anders investiert.... Enfin paiement cash uniquement annoncé avec une pointe d'agressivité : ne vous arrêtez pas ici.

There is no note about it on the front,only at the entrance what is far from the tables,so u cannot see and the waitress did not mentioned it when i ordered my food. Unglaublich unfreundliche Bedienung. Nur Tapas und Pizza zum essen aber Tapas gab es keine mehr. Möchte man bestellen oder zahlen kann man schon mal 10 Minuten warten obwohl Laden fast leer . Benutzt man die Toilette muss man sich darauf einstellen das die Türen nicht verschliessbar sind. Definitiv nicht noch einmal.

The staff here are partnered with the local pick pocketers. We people watched for an hour at the plaza and noticed multiple groups of pick pocketers. We decided to eat here before heading out. Those groups of pick pocketers funneled in to the restaurant by walking through the tables eyeing every table, they would then talk to the waitresses, sit inside not eating and discussing/handing each other items. This restaurant is partnered with pick pocketers. Do not stay. Do not give them your credit card. Photo included a few of them.

Awful service from one particular waitress who should not work in the service sector. Rude and quite frankly made us want to leave. Such a shame when they are fortunate to have such a beautiful spot, both the town and location. The food was average and our spritz drinks were warm and flat. I rarely leave reviews but felt compelled. I'm hoping the owners of this place read this as constructive and an opportunity to turn it around.

Mit großem Abstand das schlechteste Erlebnis unseres Aufenthaltes auf Mallorca. Essen unterirdisch schlecht, sowohl geschmacklich als auch optisch. Bedienung schlecht gelaunt und ungeeignet für den Job, sie hat während wir bedient wurden permanent lautstark telefoniert und bevor uns unsere Gläser auf den Tisch gestellt wurden, wurde daran gerochen. Zudem waren die Gläser dreckig. So ein lieblos angerichtetes Essen habe noch nie gegessen. Wir haben Pa amb oli gegessen, eigentlich kann da nicht viel schief gehen, dachten wir … 40€ für zwei geschmacklose Brote auch absolut unangebracht. Toiletten waren auch unhygienisch und ließen sich nicht verschließen. Tische wackeln und waren ebenfalls dreckig. Das einzig schöne war der Blick auf die Kirche. Absolute Touristenfalle, bitte unbedingt meiden!

Pour le dessert on nous envoie chez le restaurateur d'à côté et pour le café aussi ! Il faudrait peut-être que l'on se cotise pour offrir une machine ... et par dessus tout pas un sourire pour faire passer la pilule. A éviter absolument même si l'emplacement avec la vue sur la place est charmant.

Wenn Sie alles richtig machen wollen, gehen Sie am besten vorbei. Das Cafe/Restaurant ist eine typische Touristenabzocke. Klar ist, dass der Platz aufgrund der Kirche sehr touristisch ist und dadurch Essen und Getränke an diesem Platz vergleichsweise teurer sind. Mit diesem Gedanken bin auch ich in diesen Laden gegangen. Ich habe aber nicht erwartet, dass man dort Tiefkühlware serviert bekommt. Wenn man eine Pizza für € 14,50 bestellt und dann eine TK-Pizza bekommt ist das einfach nur beschämend für diesen Ort. Noch dazu war die Pizza kreidebleich und durchtränkt mit Öl. Die hätte ich mir genauso gut mit 3 Promille aus dem Supermarkt holen und im Ofen warmmachen können. Wie sich die meisten jetzt vorstellen können, waren die Tapas genauso schlecht. Mein Eindruck: die Restaurants rund um den Platz haben teilweise ebenfalls keine guten Bewertungen, jedoch fand ich beim vorbeilaufen den Service als auch das Essen deutlich ansprechender. Hoffe, die Bewertung bewahrt einige vor einer Enttäuschung.

Wir sind hier gelandet, weil die nebenrestaurants keine warme Küche am Nachmittag hatten. Nachdem wir bestellt hatten, haben wir zu spät die Google Bewertungen hier gelesen. Die beiden Damen im Service, hatten keine Lust, waren extrem unfreundlich und hatten kein Lächeln übrig. Die Tische waren dreckig und kaputt. Das Essen war 08/15 und lieblos. Ertränkt in Öl. Aperol 10 Euro, nö auch wenn er u.U. schmecken würde, nicht für so viel Geld ! Der Service telefoniert während der Bestellung und dem Kassiervorgang, nie wieder !

Fuimos mi pareja y yo el 26 de agosto, no habíamos reservado para comer y era el único lugar disponible para picar algo. Puedo entender que estamos cerca de la catedral y el lugar puede ser mas caro, pero los chipirones que nos sacaron por 16,80€ eran de risa, bravas por 8,80€ aceptables y pedimos también gambas rebozadas, nos trajeron 5 por 12,80€, no volvería jamas y no lo recomiendo.

Trato pésimo, parece que quieren perder clientela. Llegamos a las 8:50 al local para cenar, tenían varias mesas libres. Les preguntamos si nos podíamos sentar y nos dijeron que cerraban pronto (cuando les preguntamos a que hora dijeron que a las 11:00, es decir, dos horas más tarde) y que no iban a servir más comida. Preguntamos si podíamos sentarnos a beber algo por lo menos y nos dijeron que si. Después otra chica vino a atendernos y nos dijo que la mesa estaba reservada (¿no era que ya no servían más comida?) y que además no servías a grupos grandes. Nuestro grupo entraba dentro del número de personas permitidas por las restricciones vigentes. En resumen, se ve que la comunicación entre empleados es pésima así como su actitud de cara al público. Les doy una estrella porque no pueden ser cero.

Servicio muy lento, pedimos un trozo de pan con queso y jamón y nose ni cuánto tardaron. Muy caro, dos aguas con gas y un pan an Oli 15'50€. El sitio está ubicado al lado de la plaza principal eso el lo único bueno.

No vayáis nunca a este bar, no me dejaron entrar al baño para que mi hijo hiciera sus necesidades alegando "que es que hay que limpiarlos". Este es el trato a los turistas que venimos a Sóller a dejarnos el dinero. Nada recomendable, evitar, una basura de sitio. 9/Agosto/2022.

Se han negado a darnos comida aun estando a 2 horas de cerrar y despues de sentarnos, nos han echado porque no aceptan a "grupos grandes" (estando nosotras dentro del número de personas permitido en ese momento).

Muy lentos. Esperamos cerca de 30 minutos para que nos atendieran.
