Ristorante paradiso Soriasco Reviews
A typical restaurant where I ate and drank well, nestled in the hills of Pavia and Piacenza. I ordered the tasting menu, which didn't disappoint.
Good, no-frills cuisine and friendly, reliable service. Enjoy the lovely view while dining outside.
I stopped by for lunch after a long motorcycle ride. Nothing to complain about, the appetizer included a bit of everything, ravioli with braised beef sauce, and a spectacular peach tart. A proper lunch. I'll definitely be back. Congratulations!
If there were the possibility of giving a sixth star, I would gladly do so, first for the kindness and professionalism of Camilla and her attentive and kind staff, then for the quality of the tasting menu, which includes a mixed appetizer of excellent cold cuts and various excellent and plentiful appetizers, a choice of two delicious fresh pasta first courses, and then a choice of delicious and well-made à la carte second courses, dessert of your choice, coffee, and limoncello—all this in the fantastic setting of the terrace overlooking the magnificent vineyards for only €33. We will definitely be back, and I recommend everyone to stop by this restaurant.
We happened to be passing by, and when we entered, the kitchen was practically closed, yet Bruno and his wife Camilla greeted us with a smile and extremely friendly manner (something not to be taken for granted, even if it was banal). We ate a spectacular charcuterie board and a tender braised beef. Not to mention the desserts!!! Truly a place run by a family that makes you feel welcome! We'll definitely be back to fully appreciate the cuisine.
Typical family-run restaurant, a real surprise for the palate! The care and passion for cooking can be perceived in every dish, with very fresh ingredients and strictly handmade preparations. We started with the typical appetizers, very good. But it was a crescendo: first the pumpkin tortelli: an absolute delight, with a balanced filling and a thin pastry that melts in the mouth. Then his majesty, the agnolotto (or ravioli) of the Oltrepadana tradition. I challenge you to find better ones. As a second course, a nice braised Fassona with porcini mushrooms, very interesting. To conclude, the homemade desserts were the icing on the cake: it is increasingly rare to find such genuine and artisanal ones! Difficult to find such a quality-price ratio. Excellent service too, it feels like being at home, or even better! Highly recommended.
We stopped for lunch on a beautiful autumn day, wandering through the hills and vineyards of the Oltrepo Pavese. We chose the tasting menu, which was excellent and homemade. For wine, we chose a local wine we weren't familiar with but which was a wonderful discovery: Buttafuoco. Impeccable and friendly service. Thank you.
Excellent place! Even though the room was full, they reserved a table for us either inside the room or in the entrance hall...we opted for the entrance hall, as it was too crowded due to a communion party. The service was fast. The dishes were handmade and prepared with love, everything was delicious. I recommend the dessert with Volpara liqueur, typical of the place. We ate for 3, drinks, cover charge, 3 appetizers, 3 first courses, 2 second courses, 3 desserts = €30 per person. This place is worth adding to your favorites!!!
Always a sure thing! I recommend trying the tasting menu and the Matilde wine (another sure thing). The appetizers are out of this world, the first courses take me back to my childhood (when my great-grandmother used to make me braised beef ravioli), and the second courses are truly delicious. Don't miss the chestnut cake and the sbrisolona to dip in Moscato, a perfect way to end your meal. The staff is so kind and helpful that they make you feel at ease throughout your stay. Toward the end of each meal, the chef always comes out and chats to check on everything, which shows professionalism and passion for their work. I'm always so satisfied every time I return, thank you so much!
Pleasant experience, excellent food, very helpful staff, large place and not too noisy even though it was crowded.
It's not a restaurant, nor a farm stay. The quality of the food is excellent, the place is well-kept but old-fashioned, and the service is homely. The portions are just right; perhaps a little more wouldn't hurt. The price is a few euros higher. All in all, it's worth a lunch.
After walking a stretch of the ancient Via degli Abati, we stopped for lunch at this restaurant. Very good food, genuine homemade soap, good service, and a pleasant atmosphere. We opted for the tasting menu and were not disappointed. I'd say that, considering the price and overall performance, I give it a very high rating. If I ever come back, I'll stop by.
A typical trattoria serving local cuisine. The place is simple, the service is friendly, and the chef is excellent. The value for money, given the variety of restaurants in the area, the location, and the structure of the restaurant itself, is a bit on the low side.
