I pulled in Hartz last night. I ordered a three piece combo leg, wing, breast with fries and a strawberry soda. Add two jalapeño peppers. I get to the window in the man told me $16 and some change! I asked him to repeat my order because clearly something was wrong. He repeated my order and then proceeded to tell me $16 and some change! I politely drove off and left him in that chicken standing right there! How in the hell is a three-piece combo almost $20 when I could have went to Popeyes and got a family feast for $20?

I got here at about 8:04pm today. They didnt let me order the sides that I wanted and had the front door locked by 8:15 when we walked out. They close at 9 its not like came literally 10 to 20 min before they closed.

Absolutely terrible they went out of their way to be sure there wasn't any fried Chicken what was on the buffet with old overcooked in old grease! I would give it a -5 if it was available attend this hearts location again! They screwed me once, now I will never be a return customer!

Price of the buffet almost $15.00 for a senior over 70 yrs old so for 2 ppl $30.00 and food was no good and and not too many items for a buffet not worthy

Very rude waited 15mins in line to order my food and got ti the window to pay I had to wait another 15 mins for fresh chicken. Was told to come back around in line behind the other cars. I decided to call to see how long, the Asian woman was very rude she hung up in my face. This is acceptable this is how you treat a paying customer. I won’t be returning here I’m disappointed.

The Point

You would think that opening cans and heating it up would be easy. So how did they screw this food up so badly. This place has halfway decent food once, years ago. Now days, the Hartz locations have sunk to new lows. And, the buffet price increased. Go figure. Quite sad.

Drove 20 minutes to get to this hartz location for my take out order just to find a long black hair rapped around 3 chicken tenders I immediately stop eating my food and went back to the location and approached the manager that was a Asian lady with black hair I told her there was a hair in my food and I want a refund she proceeded to dig around my food trying to find the hair she started complaining about how some of the sides were ate and how I need to bring my drinks back she continued to argue with me getting defensive started saying that it wasn't her hair continue to argue I showed her the long black hair and once again said it wasn't hers even though I didn't say it was. I proceeded to tell her the customer's always right and that she needs to wear a hairnet .. she got really pissed off and I had to force her to give me a refund. No apology no professionalism no customer service. I drive 20 minutes quite often to come to this location because I always loved their food she was completely rude and I will be calling the health department

Hartz Chicken: A Disappointing Visit I recently visited Hartz Chicken, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Here's a detailed review: Ambiance: The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness, or rather, the lack of it. The place was filthy, with dirty floors and tables that hadn't been cleaned in a while. It was clear that hygiene was not a priority at this location. Service: The service was equally disappointing. The staff seemed indifferent and unmotivated. It took a long time to place my order, and when I finally did, the employees were not very friendly or helpful. Food: The food was the biggest letdown. It appeared that the food had been sitting in the back for quite some time before being served. The chicken was cold and dry, lacking the freshness and flavor that Hartz Chicken is known for. The sides were equally unappetizing, with a stale taste that suggested they had been prepared hours earlier. Overall Experience: This visit to Hartz Chicken was a complete disappointment. The lack of cleanliness, poor service, and subpar food made for an unpleasant dining experience. I hope this location takes steps to improve its standards because it currently falls far short of what customers expect from Hartz Chicken.

I’ve always enjoyed your food, but my recent experience was disappointing. The rolls, as usual, were great—easy to cook and tasty—but the quality of the other items was a letdown. The chicken tenders were significantly smaller than they used to be, and it seemed like they were mostly batter with very little chicken. The portion was less than a third of what it was 2.5 years ago. Additionally, the mashed potatoes seemed to be made from dehydrated flakes rather than fresh potatoes, and the brown gravy was placed directly on top of the mashed potatoes instead of being served on the side. Not everyone in my family likes gravy, so this was an issue. Given these concerns, I would like to request a refund for the chicken portion from this meal, directly from you at this location. What happened to the quality I’ve come to expect from Hartz? Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I ordered the special for 31.99 the other day. I opened a leg to give to my toddler only to notice that the inside of the chicken was dark gray. The skin was gross as well. It appeared as if they refried old chicken. I know what refried old chicken looks like. We had to throw the entire box away. I didn't get the opportunity to bring it back. I will NEVER eat at this location again. And I WILL contact the health department as this could have made us all very sick! Shame on you all for this!!

Okra was as hard as a rock. To serve that to a customer is not right. They must have refried them. The chicken was a little bit better. The rolls had not risen prior to cooking. I will be driving further to another Hartzs from now on. I also believe if frying chicken is not your specialty you should get out of the business. The fish also had a lot of hard crust.

This place is awful to say the least. Buffet looks like it was ran through by a pack of wolves. The chicken was old and didn't look like the other cooked chicken. Not sure what language they were speaking but it was not English. My next call is going to be to the Health Department. LOOKS LIKE IT HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED IN THE LAST FIVE YEARS.
