Panera Bread Spring Reviews
Hadn't been here in several years. Nice & quiet. Great breakfast selection of pastries. Looks like they have a good lunch selection of sandwiches, soups salads. We'll be back
The food was excellent with a wide variety of healthy choices. The fall squash soup was wonderful, creamy and slightly sweet. The chicken salad cranberry salad sandwich is always a favorite as well. I actually went back again today and repeatrd what I had yesterday, it was so good.
Im giving all 5 stars even though that last time in December I was there my whole family and I did not get my cup of broccoli soup wich really upset me bad. I will continue to come but you own me Panera...
Throw on your scarf, slide on your boots and get in line for one of my favorite offerings at Panera. The Autumn 🍂 Squash Soup, if you haven't tried it, you're really missing out. This entree is quintessential for anyone who enjoys fall and warm comfort food. Each spoonful offers a mellow, creamy, sorta sweet (not earthy) bite. If vegetable based soups are your thing you gotta try it. I usually do a "Pick 2" and pair it with the half portion of the *Chicken Avo BLT or *Fuji Apple Salad.
A good lunch time sandwich shop with a convenient drive thru. The inside decor is a bit dated, but well kept.
I think the food is ok and overpriced. They have some unique combinations, but the value doesn’t match the price. However, looking for a healthy option, this would be a good choice
Ambiance is pretty good, but the service and food could use a boost. So many small things were overlooked even when not busy. And the food was good but the portions are somewhat laughable. Probably won’t come again unless it’s the one of the last places opened or there is a change in their reputation.
I went early in the morning around 6:15am to dine in on Fri 10/17 and the manager was there at the front and I stood there 15 seconds before she acknowledged me. Then said I’ll be with you in a few minutes. I was the only customer in the store. She appeared very frustrated and in a very dry voice asked what I wanted. Placed order and said I was a disabled vet and could I use my veterans discount, she said yeah where’s your ID? She didn’t want to touch it so I showed her my VA card then she said move your finger, I need to see the picture, wow. I was in a great mood before that experience. I have never had a bad experience with other locations over the last 12 years always very friendly and engaging people.
I ordered the bread soup bowl. I haven’t had one for years. It was very tasty. The staff was friendly despite the technology that wasn’t working in the store. The atmosphere was nice and as a group we had a great time. It’s also conveniently located, unfortunately there’s construction going on, so the entrance is a challenge (definitely not the restaurant’s fault). I was disappointed in the amount of soup that was in the bread bowl. It was mostly bread inside and the cap they cut out (small) was the total soup displacement (small). I was among friends and wasn’t going to complain while I was there. 3.5 stars
Food good. Service horrible, went thru drive through and was in line over 20 minutes
The Mac and cheese here taste absolutely disgusting. The first time I thought it was just a 1 time thing, but no it’s every time. The pasta is always over cooked to where it is mushy and the cheese is clumpy. It’s like they gave me leftovers from the night before.
Panera is pretty expensive but I like the food so I don’t mind paying the price. Since the containers got smaller I’ve noticed the portions got smaller. I feel like this container could have had more salad in it. I mean the container isn’t even full and I’m definitely not getting my moneys worth. Are they rationing the greens?
Do not recommend going through drive thru if you’re in a hurry. They take 30 minutes to get their line down.
What happened to Panera bread? This is so sad. One of my favorite places has gone down tartly down the tubes. Everything sucks here now they can’t get your order right they have a terrible attitude and just stopped caring a long time ago. Another company needs to come alone and do what they do bc it’s a great concept if it were just not run by people who don’t care. Got my order wrong, when I called about it they hung up on me so I can’t even get a refund. Last time ever. Rip Panera Bread.
I’m very disappointed with my experience at Panera Bread in Porter, TX. I tried calling the store multiple times and no one answered the phone. When I attempted to address my issue through customer service, the response was just as frustrating. The representatives were rude and offered no real solution to resolve the problem. As customers, we spend our hard-earned money to support this business, and in return we deserve respectful treatment and proper assistance when issues arise. Instead, I was met with unfair and unprofessional behavior. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving both their communication and customer service.
went here for the asiago bagel stacks and ordered them on the kiosk. a few minutes go by and a staff lets us know they are out of the bagels and we have to switch to another bagel. then they proceed to mess up those sandwiches as well. also completely out of lids for cups and dr pepper was flat. horrible experience and i do not plan on coming back to this location
Save yourself the hassle and just go somewhere else. So many soup and sandwich spots in the area to choose from. This location is absolutely horrible, full of incomplete team members and a "manager" that has the attitude of a mean girl pre teen. The worst customer service ever! They can't even read a receipt correctly.
No cause tell my why I waited in a 20+ minute drive thru line (almost half of my lunch break btw) for a single bowl of soup and then I open the bag and see not a spoon to eat my soup with, but a FORK?! Y’all have to be doing this on purpose at this point. 😭😭😭
Just left Panera Bread after ordering and eating a french dipper with my wife. We ordered two sandwiches and a croissant which came out to around $32 total. To my surprise when we're given two large sandwiches with about half a cup of french onion soup, which was mostly onions and not a lot of juice to dip in. I went in to get more of just the juice because I like to dip my sandwich when that's how it is advertised, that's how I want to eat it. My wife went in to get more as well only to be looked at like lesser because she had had enough, apparently according to the manager of the place. First off, if you're going to market a sandwich as something you can dip, maybe give the people ordering this expensive sandwich enough soup, aught to be au jus if you ask me, to actually dip and enjoy the sandwich. I spent about $12 a sandwich to only be looked at like I'm not worth the money I just spent there. Will rethink my next visit if nothing on this changes.
Tried breakfast sandwich, horrible food. I threw mine away, I paid 1.99 extra to add avocado and only half tsp was added. Upon asking for more cook said avacado was moldy and did I want avacado salad instead, upon receiving and putting on sandwich I took a bite and spit out. It was soured. Husband ordered steak sandwich and it tasted ok but bread ratio to meat was not impressive. After spending 25.00 I came home and cooked. I will not return to this location.
I came in here awhile back for some soup and the employees who was working seems very disinterested in their jobs. The bread portion size was extremely disappointing and the restraint was nasty dirty. Multiple tables weren't cleaned. The one I sat at wasn’t clean. I’m not typically one to comment and complain but I did come later in the night and to see that multiple tables weren't cleaned disgusted me. I came in this morning to use the restroom and the floors were nasty. Someone was in while I came in and they didn’t wash their hands. I’m not sure if it was a customer or an employee but it didn’t matter because there was very little soap in the soap dispenser. I had to attempt to wash my hands 4 times before I felt okay enough to come back out of the bathroom and tell an employee. While I’m waiting here for the girl to change out she soap I’m looking around at the menu and pastries; I see a nat flying around and land on a pastry. The employee I spoke to about the soap came back a few mins later with her purse and said she had to go get soap and apologized. I’m sure it’s not her fault but it is party her responsibility along with all the other employees to make sure they’re good on things like soap to keep everyone sanitary. A few of the employees handling food are wearing gloves but I believe shift lead names Christy/Kristy wasn’t wearing gloves and handled a sheet of cookies. An employee named Bri wasn’t wearing gloves and was eating a chunk of yellow cheese while walking around the kitchen. The gave me a cup of soap to use, as I walked back in I slightly slipped from the water on the floor which is evidently there from the paper towel with water on it and when I went in the bathroom an employee “washed” their hands and left the paper towels on the floor.
